Affordable Plumbing CO

My experience and interaction with Affordable Plumbing and it's owners was horrible, but I want to share my honest experience to prevent someone from having the same. Below is my experience. Accidents happen and are navigable. Lacking integrity, respect, and care for your customers is not. -January 2022 a pipe failed in our home, causing immense flooding -A friend recommended us to Affordable Plumbing Co (APC) -APC on call plumber was very helpful, capped the line, and provided a plan to address the issue -APC owner came to complete the work, which in his professional opinion did not match his on call colleague -After completing the repiping, he called me.

I shared the concern that I was expecting what plumber 1 had described and we agreed upon, to which the owner assured me this would be a sound solution -I paid $1,500 for the work -Weeks later, we recognized a slow leak in the bathroom causing ceiling damage -APC fixed the pipe, and because repairs from previous flooding had not occurred yet, I agreed to not require any aesthetic repairs to the damaged ceiling -April 2022 the pipe that initially failed and was repaired by APC failed again causing additional flooding -Originally back on call plumber returned to correct the failed pipe, where he confirmed it was their work previously completed but was unsure of why -I called the owner to share the situation and see how he planned to remedy the situation, which I remained 100% professional -He yelled at me, hung up on me, and proceeded to call me shady--implying that I may have been dishonest in my involvement or handling -After connecting again, I made it clear that I would be having my home repiped with another company, and I would like to be reimbursed for the $1,500 paid previously, or at least what was fair -APC offered a discount for repiping that I made clear was already completed -I have called and emailed nearly a dozen times to try to resolve this and have received no response

They sent a plumber to my house to unclog a shower drain and ended up breaking the bottom hinge of the door. The plumber left the door half open and dangling at an angle and left the house without saying anything about it. I called the office to complain and the woman asked me if it was possible that the door broke by itself. When I said no, she then asked me if it's possible that the door could have broken by itself in a few days because it was old.

She was very callous and condescending. I called back and spoke with the owner who agreed to replace the door. He later changed his mind because the door cost too much. This was an awful experience. DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!

Tech showed up on time! (30 min before appt). He was courteous and professional. Resolved my issue quickly and cleaned up the area. Would definitely refer them to others.

Will, was the plumber who came out to install a faucet and main water shut off valve to my condo. He was professional, expert, and worked quickly in order to save me money. Everything was done perfectly and cleaned up perfectly after the job was done! Will went the extra mile to find the underground shutoff valve for the water for the condominium building I live in even though that should have been done before he got there. Will, it's a complete asset to this company and if you want great work done this is the guy to do it!

I own a child care center and called them for a stopped up toilet. They came out, took the toilet off and said they needed a machine and would be back that same day after 3:30 (we close at 6:30). A little after 6pm, we called them and told them we would give them the code for the front door if they were coming later. No one came and no phone call. 8am WE called the next day.

The lady taking the call claimed to be the owner and was extremely rude. She didn't try to rectify the situation. Blamed us for kids being in the room next to the toilet. Didn't take responsibility for zero cominication and for leaving us with a toilet sitting on the floor. Disgusting way to do business. Unprofessional and rude. How do you treat others like this?

Andreas was professional and courteous. He did a great job and made sure I was informed and satisfied before he left my house. He went above and beyond. Greatly appreciated. Services: Shower repair, Plumbing pipe repair, Faucet installation, Toilet repair

This company was recommended by a friend and I must say that this was the best experience with a plumbing company ever. Our house needed a complete replumbing job after having cooper pipe leaks under our concrete slab. I was dreading it not only for the cost but also for the mess. Instead Tim and his team did a clean, efficient and excellent job that was more affordable than the prior estimates I was given.

In addition the prior estimates included cutting several large openings in multiple locations that were not necessary and the project was installed without a huge disruption to our household. We are very grateful and happy to have had such a great experience with Affordable Plumbing.

I called Affordable Plumbing yesterday about what I feared was a slab leak (but I told them my water was off so it wasn't a rush) and they were able to get me in first thing this morning. Hayley was my plumber and she was so good! She was able to diagnose the problem with my weird old house plumbing and find the leak, which luckily was not under my house!

Once she found it, she patched up both (copper) pipes that had holes in them. She was very professional and personable. I will definitely call them in the future when I'm ready to re-pipe my house.

The value of the business is very low based on my experience due to the fact I was COMPLETELY over charged for a service that cost me $400 less from another plumbing company. The plumber put in an unnecessary hole in my wall and did not throughly check the issues I had in my house. Quickly said "there's no problem here". This company is not affordable and does not do their due diligence to have a satisfied customer. I prefer to go to Darley's Plumbing.

Timely on most work. However asked them to replace sprayer on kitchen sink as part of job. No problem with that mentioned when setting up appointment. Tech then said "they don't sell sprayers separately. you will need to buy whole faucet setup and then call us back to install" and didn't do as part of work. Was at Ace, and they do sell new sprayers separately. I feel a bit mislead by Haley the tech. At least some of the work got done but don't understand the sprayer not getting done.
