Critical: Value Very expensive. They charge way too much for the work actually performed. Reach out to more honest companies. There are many out there. Service: Heating system maintenance

This is the worst, most dishonest company I have ever worked with. They continually upcharged me and ultimately left the job in such disrepair I had to hire another contractor. We contacted the owner to try and get everything resolved and now I see why this organization is so dishonest. It was continually nothing but costly lies. Please send your business elsewhere.

Great plumbing company. Gene Rover and team are true pros. On time, does great work, cleans up, all for a fair price. B&G does a lot of charitable work too in giving back to city. I've worked closely with them on many projects over many years. They're consistently top notch.

Editing my original review: First time they came out it was a great experience and a great price. Unfortunately, the second visit (for something different) was a very different experience. It was for a small clog that turned into a big problem, which certainly happens, but the tech wasn't sure how to fix it, so he had to call his boss (who was in a meeting).

When the tech got ahold of his boss a while later, he wondered around my property chatting on the phone, then cleaned up and left without telling me the cost or options. I got charged for the time he spent trying to figure out his job and for that time on the call. If a tech doesn't know how to do a job, I'd suggest he leave so I'm not charged extra for a how-to-do-my-job 30 minute call.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Value They charged us 1.5 hours for 1 hr of work, we called to ask why and they said they charged us for the drive to get to us, all in all they charged us 400 just to top off the freon, place is a rip off.

Very pleased with work performed by B&G, needed plumbing work done, faucets replaced, some vales replaced, I wasn't comfortable doing the work myself, with the copper pipes in the house, didn't try to charge me for work that wasn't needed, technician was very professional. Recommended and will use again

Scott M. and Jesse were able to provide same day service and in my absence. They were professional, honest, kept me updated, and did great work! All of that and a great value on top of that. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

P and G Plumbing has been the company I have used for 27 yrs. Our family has build several custom homes in Jacksonville, our builders used B and G. The service has been top notch without any dips over the years. They always treated like I was their only customer. Lori helped me with finding a new replacement faucet, not only did she get done immediately but saved me a lot of money. Great customer service is sometimes very hard to find these days but Lori went above and beyond! Thank you

Had an installer come out last week for an estimate. Was told to expect Terri to email a proposal the following day. Waited several days before calling. The lady fielding the calls didn't/doesn't really seem to care and would only pass me to his VM. Called again this morning and the same happened. This company came on recommendation and the installer was clean and professional. Terri on the other hand is either and poor excuse of a "plumbing manager" or has more work than he can handle.

Could be my project isn't worth his time but if this was the case they knew in advance what we needed prior to sending a man.why did they bother. I suspect the other review was on point as to project size so I wouldn't bother calling them for anything less than a HUGE project

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do NOT use these guys! They sent two guys out to install my free standing tub. The main guy was on the phone the entire time giving someone else instructions on how to fix their plumbing and the second guy was sitting around waiting for the first guy to get off the phone. All the while, I'm getting frustrated because I know they're charging me by the hour & quarter hour.

They would leave on two "supply runs" & come back 1.5 hours later each time. I knew that something was not right but didn't speak up because I had taken the day off from work and wanted them to just finish the job at this point. I was relieved when it was finished but right after they left, the tub starts leaking heavily & a huge puddle starts forming and growing around it.

We had to shut off the water supply to the house & were not be able to use running water for two days. Meanwhile, I call the main office & a Laurie or Lauren gives me attitude and accuses me of trying to cop out on payment. No woman, I want you to send someone out to fix this leak & install this tub properly so we can turn on the water supply to the house & actually shower.

Her reply was "You mean to tell me that you have no other way of washing yourselves besides using this ONE tub?" Omg, woman. We had to turn off the entire water supply to the house or else the tub would leak! So she offered to send the same guy out to fix it. No way! I requested someone else. Finally, they sent another guy out & I had to take another day off & waited for him for hours.

He seemed much more experienced. Diagnosed the issue & admitted the first guy did a s**t job & that it could've been done faster & correctly & cleaner had he installed it. He also pointed out where the first guy had damaged my brand new floor tiles and agreed to come back the next day to re-install the tub. So I took today off (third day off) & just called Laurie / Lauren to see when this experienced guy could come out & she says his schedule is booked today & tries to accuse me of trying to cop out on paying. Meanwhile, my tub is still not installed, my floor tiles are damaged, I have no running water, & I have taken three days off from work.

No stars here! two guys come in to take out dishwasher and replace with another. after turning on electrical breaker nothing but sparks! second attempt the same thing. said we need an electrician. upon their departure i (not a plumber nor electrician) looked under dishwasher to inspect and found where the spark was coming from. took off metal box and found a wire that was exposed and touching the metal plate. i put duct tape on the wire, connected with existing wire nuts, turned breaker back on and presto the dishwasher works. oh! one more thing! the plumbers didnt connect the drain hose either. so you can guess what happened!?! water over the kitchen floor and under dishwasher! luckily it was a quick catch. upon contacting b&g plumbing i was told i would get a call back and i did and asked to be compensated to no avail! they made $200 for what? no stars here. the interior decorator that has referred these plumbers says she is DONE with them! NO thanks b&g.

Don't believe the positive reviews here folks! Unless you are a corporate account, have a lot of money or a lot of time to spare while they give you the run around, don't bother. I live less than a mile away from B&G Plumbing and I called Terry, the plumbing manager for an estimate on Thursday. He advised he would call me back Friday at 11am to let me know what time he could stop by that day for the estimate for my bathroom remodel project. Friday I called the office at 130 and explained he hadn't called.

The receptionist passed the message and at 2pm he finally called and said, "Its not going to work out today, too busy here and short on help. It will have to wait until Monday." I said are you serious? You are within walking distance of my house and would take five minutes of your time to stop by. He said, "Just too busy today and won't be able to make it." I said, "Well it seems like you just don't want my business." And he immediately hung up on me. Don't bother calling them as they will treat you like they are doing you a favor.
