Our sewer line backed out and Water Quality was exemplary! Our house, older lines can be a challenge but they handled it all beautifully and made sure or one got out here quickly! Thank you!

I recently got my water heater installed by Water Quality Plumbing. They provided transparent upfront pricing & the make/model of the water heater. They didn't try to upsell any useless add-one's like some others. The technician was a bit difficult to communicate with regarding a specific issue & got annoyed instead of explaining it properly but otherwise, was courteous, timely, efficient & did a good job.

Once again, Water Quality hit another one out of the park. Today they resolving a frustrating water leak in our shower, and get this. within 20 minutes of arriving! Their service personnel always do such a great job, but today Jeff really excelled! I highly recommend Water Quality Plumbing!

I was referred to Water Quality Plumbing by a close friend. I am very pleased and satisfied with our technician Diego who came out to replace a toilet and fix a few faucets. -Friendly and professional (Maybe the most personable technician I've met!) -Patient -No Pressure -Good explanation of what he was going to do before doing it. Additionally, the staff answering the phone was polite and helpful with my questions. I expect to use their services again in the future.

They helped us fix a leaky reverse osmosis system, and a cracked sink when nobody else would even want to take a look. Thank you so much!

Diego came over to: a) replace PRV b) replace existing Gate Valve by a Ball Valve c) fix the piping around that area. He was extremely through. He gave me all my options, answered all my questions, did not rush my decision making, did not rush any step, and rechecked every step along the way.

We moved into a historic house with a list of repairs - 1. Hot water wasn't working in a powder room 2. Two different bathroom faucets were missing handles 3. One shower head was missing and the attached bathtub wasn't working 4. Three sink stoppers needed to be installed 5. Hot drinking water faucet was not working 6. Steam shower was not working I was nervous about finding someone with experience who could handle antique fixtures in a historic home.

I got an appointment within a week of calling and Jeff Pedro came over. He was great! For some repairs, the previous owner had pre-ordered parts and others, Jeff assessed what was needed and ordered parts. It's an old house, so a few issues needed investigation and one repair even resulted in old sink parts falling off. Jeff knew exactly what to do in each situation and fixed everything in our house.

He had to return with parts on another day for some repairs on our list. He was professional, punctual and communicated ahead of each appointment. He was clean and didn't leave a trace. I would strongly recommend this company.

They did a great job in replacing our water heater. The team is very responsive and reliable. Communication was great.

I called Water Quality Plumbing as I was gathering bids for a quick garbage disposal replacement job, figuring they would be more expensive and impossible to book. I was wrong on both counts. They were able to squeeze in my job on the same day -- and Sergio was fantastic (super friendly, funny and professional). I was completely out of my element when considering what to do with my water and Jason was so helpful when reviewing my property. My system was installed by Arnold who was also very helpful and thorough. My dishes, laundry and bathroom are now so much easier to clean. I highly recommend this team.

I called them because I thought there was an issue with my water softener. I spoke with Jason, and he gave me some recommendations to try and troubleshoot the problem myself. He took the time to answer all my questions. It turns out the noise I was hearing was unrelated to my water softener. I'm grateful for them for genuinely helping me over the phone, I will definitely use their service if anything more serious happens at my home.

Many thanks again WQP team. EDIT: Called them again for advice on upgrading my water softener or not. Marty, the owner, came and tested the water hardness and said the current system was still efficient, just needed to regenerate more frequently. Super friendly service, can't recommend enough!

Very professional from the first phone call to the technicians arrival to watching the tailor ghost going out the driveway. Arnold was professional and knew exactly what he was doing. Water Quality Plumbing came out primarily to replace two water valves under the sink today, and also helped with a couple other issues. Diego was on time, highly professional, did a great job, and was a very nice young man! They came highly recommended, and I would not hesitate to use them again for future plumbing needs. If you're lucky, you'll get Diego!

Reliable and their guys know their stuff. Only thing I would like is if they could take payments online. But otherwise I have been using them for many years when needing a plumber.

Writing this review as I wait for PG&E emergency services to come out to check out a gas leak in my house after the water heater was installed 4 hours ago by Water Quality Plumbing. My entire garage smelled like Sulphur. The fire department just left as well and diagnosed the problem to be an improper install of the gas pipe connected to the water heater.

I was able to turn the nut securing the gas pipe to the water heater with my fingers - so clearly it was pure negligence on behalf of the installer that left me and my family in this dangerous situation. I tried reaching the 24 hour services for Water Quality Plumbing and got the following recorded message: "the service you are trying to reach has been restricted, please contact customer service". and of course since it is Fri evening the customer service number goes to a mailbox! PLEASE FIX THIS WATER QUALITY PLUMBING.

I was really looking forward to that hot shower but instead have to ensure my family is safe from a gas leak on a Friday evening as I wait for PG&E. UPDATE: PG&G just left and said that I'm lucky there wasn't an explosion! His notes read - "Repaired leak at water heater flex connection" UPDATE: I had the owner read this review and come out that very day to check out everything.

He was sincerely apologetic about the episode and took the responsibility to make it right. I believe that your mistakes are new lessons for success and that's exactly how this business showed up! I hope to give them another chance to do some work and reflect that in a future review.

I did a lot of research on various companies before repiping our house. Water Quality Plumbing was the best. And it turned out that way. They do a quality job and are easy to interact with. I also now use them for any and all of our plumbing needs. It is nice to have one company take care of everything.

What a great experience! From talking to Jeni on the phone, Marty showing up the same day to assess the water heater, and then the crew who came and installed the new unit the next day, I couldn't be happier! Their collective professionalism, integrity and knowledge was refreshing and informative. I knew absolutely nothing about water heaters, but now feel educated enough to know what to do next time. And they are all so nice! I highly recommend Water Quality Plumbing for any plumbing needs you have. They've been around since 1970, and it showed! I dig that!

This review is long overdue! We've used Water Quality Plumbing for several years in our property management business for maintenance work as well as repipes. We have always found that their technicians are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. For repipe work Marty is great, easy to work with and will discuss your options and ultimately make sure you get what makes sense for your home with quality workmanship at a very reasonable price. We called and the very same day Stevie showed up. He was very professional, very kind, personable and seemed extremely knowledgeable. So glad we called them for a second opinion and we learned that there were no problems at all. The other plumbing company but I can't say who, said that the majority of the copper pipes needed replacements. I'm very happy to say that Stevie saved us lots of money. Overall, very very happy with water quality plumbing.

A shout out to "Stevie" who came to repair a leak in the basement and to flush the hot water heater. Courteous and professional, he was very good about explaining the problem and options for fixing it. Also showed me an efficient way to do the flush. Would definitely request him for next plumbing job. The company charges for the first hour and every half hour after that, plus a nominal travel fee. Seemed reasonable.

They did a great job re-piping our town house. Very responsible; they promptly came back to patch a drywall cutout they missed (inside a cabinet) even after we paid them. I wish all contractots are like them!

I had Water Quality Plumbing remove an old water softener and install a whole house filter and water conditioner for me. It was a fairly complex installation but Arnold, the plumber did a good job at it. And at every step, he asked me for feedback versus proceeding on his own. In the subsequent days, there were three different leaks in the system, but every time the company took full ownership of the issues and promptly sent a plumber to fix them at no extra charge.

I greatly appreciate the fact that the company honored their 30 days labor and parts warranty without me having to argue with someone on the phone. One thing that I didn't like was that I wasn't given a breakup of the cost of the material used in the installation. I asked for it, but didn't get a clear answer from the installer.

Water quality plumber was very responsive, came to do the repair just before Thanksgiving holiday. Luckily my water heater was under warranty (for the expensive parts); their plumber quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the pilot light malfunction problem.

Excellent Service. Needed the water heater replace. The technicians name was Arnold. He was on time, very professional and informative. Before long the work was done and he left the place clean and tidy. Will call here again if I need more work done.

These guys are just so good from start to finish. From the first call talking to a really pleasant person instead of endless prompts, to Phil, the guy who cleaned out our sewer line and who was super nice, experienced, professional and on time and who did the work exactly as estimated at a very reasonable rate. And the follow up call I needed to make after hours to a voicemail system that works flawlessly and got the message to the right person, they clearly pay attention to the little things as well as big. it just adds up to an excellent experience worth writing about. HIGHLY recommended.

I had a plumbing emergency and needed help within 24 hours. My friend Lisa who has lived in San Jose her entire life is always a great resource when I need a referral. Several years ago she hired Water Quality Plumbing so I called them for help. They were able to get someone out to help me because it was a leak and knew that it was important. Jason came out and gave me the options I had with my water softener/filter system.

I could just disconnect since I wasn't using it or the other option to continue using it. I didn't think it was still in use until it started leaking so I said let's disconnect it! He was thorough with what the cost would be of the various parts right off the bat. I asked him if he installed these systems, since this one was old, and he told me yes.

He mentioned people can ask $5K-$8K for these systems so to be careful for that. He handed me a brochure and said since I was living alone in the house I didn't need anything fancy. Right away I had a good feeling about Jason and knew he was trustworthy. I know everyone is skeptical of mechanics and plumbers so not only did I appreciate the referral, but also how honest and upfront Jason was. I definitely recommend working with Jason and will in the future when I have more plumbing needs.

Had a great experience with this company! The service providers were honest, competent, friendly and efficient. We had them install a water softener and piping in our home and they patiently described how to use the softener and even identified a part from the 3rd party manufacturer that was broken, describing how to replace it and work with the softener while waiting for the part to arrive. We will ping them again when we have other plumbing needs in the future.
