Jason, the owner, replied to my text late in the evening, but would not be able to help with my problem. Instead he referred me to his hydro jetting tech (also Jason) to clean a sewer line. I appreciate the professionalism he showed with the referral and.by putting the customer first. The other Jason showed up the next day; and did a good job at an incredible price. I was being quoted up to $2,500 for hydro jetting 90' of pipe. Jason did it at a fraction of the cost. Very pleased with Jason and Jason.

Jason is the absolute best! He's been out to our home on 2 separate occasions and has done exactly what we needed both times. The first was to resolve a water temperature issue in our shower and the second to replace 3 faucets. He's a super nice guy and does awesome work. Highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs!

So technically I didn't actually hire Jason with Plumbing Detective, but he has a loyal customer for life. I called with my toilet suddenly having started leaking from where the tank meets the base. Jason asked a few questions about the age/make of the toilet and was able to diagnose the issue over the phone. Unfortunately he was booked for the next week and a half and we didn't want to go without a second toilet in the house that long.

But instead of calling another plumber Jason explained the part that he was sure was the issue and that it was a moderately easy DIY project to take off the tank and replace it. He talked me through what it would consist of and even offered that if I got stuck or had questions I could call him back. A trip to Home Depot for a new spud valve and an hour or so of work later and I had fixed my own toilet. An amazing level of service and professionalism. When I inevitably end up needing a plumber in the future, this will be the only one I call.

This is an excellent company! I had a leaking 3 cast iron pipe problem and Jason was super responsive in his messages while we tried to identify the problem. His first quote, over phone messages and videos, was fair and clearly stated the possible cost and why. And his service was careful, clean and efficient, with total cost coming down to be under the quoted value. I would recommend his services to any of my friends. These people prey on your vulnerable state. They do lots of talking about the job and it doesn't get done. They did not provide me with an accurate itemized invoice after I asked several times and I STILL don't have it. They claimed they installed 60' ft of pipe in my yard and NO WAY did they do that without reaching the main. They claimed to have changed my pressure release valve.that was a lie.

They claimed they reinstalled my toilet.that was another lie. I got financed to pay for this work and have to pay this bill so of course I want this bill corrected. They are thieves and can not be trusted. WATCH OUT.They are Smiling Snakes. How long does it take to correct an invoice?

I've now used Jacob twice in the past 6 months - he is fast at the response and knows what he is doing for a fair price. I highly recommend especially in these times when it's hard to find a good plumber. Service: Garbage disposal installation

I've had a few other plumbers before and never had one I liked. I've been having water pressure problems in my new house and decided to give these guys a call. Well worth it. Jason gave me some advice on the phone and I was able to diagnose and fix the problem myself. It was a small thing, but the next time I have a big job I'm giving him a call and referring other homeowners to him. Knowledgable, friendly and professional. I called and spoke to a very friendly and professional gentleman who was able to trouble shoot and solve the problem within 3 minutes. Jason saved my party! I was throwing my Wife a birthday party and we had a sewer back up. I had used The Plumbing Detectives a few years ago so I had them in my phone still. I called and got ahold of Stephanie and she said Jason would be out within the hour. He showed up and found my outside cleanout and ran the snake down it and within 15 minutes the drain was cleared! My wife gave him a slice of cake to go! Bottom line here, if you need a plumber give these guys a shot. Support your local Mom and Pop, these are good guys!

My teenager put a small glass in the sink that fit ever so snuggly into the mouth of my garbage disposal. Of course it broke when I tried to dislodge it. As a result the disposal stopped working. Jason came the same day I called, and after waiting for me 20 minutes beyond our appointment (I was in traffic), he graciously fixed my garbage disposal AT NO CHARGE! Jason worked about 20 minutes to fish out broken pieces of glass and even gave me a "key" (Allen wrench, I think) to unjam the disposal in the future!

He also showed me how to use the "reset the motor." I offered to pay Jason at least a "tip" for his time, but he refused. Even though my problem turned out to be minor, I'm certain any other plumbing service would have charged handsomely for travel and time.
