Customer service representative Mia is terrible. We had an irrigation pump leaking at our house and my husband called them, big mistake. The price was to expensive to replace so we opted to have it removed. The fixture was removed and the line was capped. About 2 days later the line started leaking really bad. My neighbor noticed that we had a waterfall coming off our driveway and called the emergency water company to shut the water off.
We have been in the hospital with our daughter and wasn't home. My husband called J2 to come out and fix the work the just completed and we were told it wasn't their problem. The pipe that they capped caused to much pressure on the c-pvc pipe and the c-pvc pipe broke. As the plumber they should have checked the pressure before removing the fixture and/or told us that this would happen so they we could weigh all our options.
I've since called a different company and was told they should have known this before removing the fixture. I called Mia to speak with a supervisor and she said she would call me back with the office manager on the line. I asked Mia was that normal to call me back on three way with a supervisor. I am still waiting on s call back. Please don't use this company.
This could have been resolved but they chose to give me the run around. EDIT: I had another company give me a second opinion as to why the pipe the J2 claimed to have burst due to pressure. As soon as the other company looked in the hole, that J2 had already dug, the other company quickly pointed out the culprit of the leak. J2's plumber bent the copper pipe when they dug the hole causing the pressure to build and cracked the cpvc pipe.
I sent a picture to Kay (the office manager) and she has yet to respond. This has been a terrible experience with J2 and I will never use them again. They don't stand behind their work or warranty. This was clearly a problem that their plumber caused. There are great companies out there but this isn't one of them.

I spent $4000 for J Square repair a drain that ran maybe 20 feet into my yard at a rental property on Fredericksburg that turned out pretty good. Because they did such a good job I called them out on another job at a Hopewell rental property. I had a leaking bath tub valve that would not turn off. J squared charged $270.00 to replace the stems, plus $45.00 to service us after hours.
I was happy with that job because the leak was taken care of. About a month or 2 later I had the same issue to occur at the Fredericksburg property so I called J Square. The plumber who arrive did not change out the stem, he replaced the seat and washer of the valve, but charged me the same price as the Hopewell property where the whole stem was replaced.
I consulted management about the difference in price, but more importantly, I was concerned about that valve holding up over time. Management agreed that the price should have been adjusted accordingly, and also explained to me that they will be administering a new price list for the technicians. I thought that was great, but I wanted new stems, or my price adjusted. they would not adjust the price, but they said they would change out the stems.
I was happy with that. Not less that 2 months later the Hopewell property had the same issue so they came out again and changed $270. I was reluctant to pay it, but I paid it anyway. I figured if I called Broderick, the owner of the company, he could figure out why my problem reoccur at Hopewell, but instead I couldnt reach anyone. Mia, his phone dispatcher could not address my issue and Broderick would not respond to my emails. texts. or phone calls.
These are rental properties so at the end of the day I was happy that the plumbing was taken care of, even though I paid a little more than I should have. I would not be writing this review if I did not have the same problem reoccur at the Fredericksburg property this weekend. This would, ironically be, two paid visits to Hopewell property for the same problem. and two visits to the Fredericksburg property for the same problem.
I thought that should try reaching out to the owner again, and to my surprise Broderick answered the phone. I greeted him in a calm and respectful manner, as I did not think he was responsible for what his technicians has done. I was looking for him to be empathetic, and provide a reasonable solution, but instead he began explaining to me that I will have to pay for another plumber to come out.
To be honest, I was hoping that he could understand that something unethical was going on with his technicians and tell me that he would look into the matter, but instead he reiterated that I will have to pay for another technician. that maybe my tenant turned the knobs too tight at both properties. It was clear that Broderick was being sarcastic, but I felt like Broderick was insulting my intelligence. You cannot imagine the level of disappointment that I experienced. I thanked Broderick for his time and he in turned hung up the phone.

After being stood up by another 5star Plumber, I called J Squared and they sent out a two man team within a hour. Staff wore masks and were polite and professional. They gave me one price and up front and stuck to it and spent about two hours making sure the drains were cleaned out back to my septic tank. I highly recommend them if your in a bind.

Critical: Value The individual who showed up was responsible, professional, and timely. He quoted $275 to snake a drain on top of an $80 roll fee (which I was fine with). The $275 was highway robbery. I replaced the entire drain myself when he said snaking was questionable. Cost me $45 and my labor. Won't call them again.

Hands down best service so far this year! These guys turned a nightmare into a blessing. My fiance and I were looking forward to a relaxing shower after moving into our new home yesterday (plot twist) Both toilets and two sinks were leaking, more like pressure wash spraying throughout the entire house. We were referred to J Squared Plumbing and it was all downhill from there.
Our technician, Donnie (hope you read this one day, you're the man!), was as friendly as he was professional. It was easy to tell that he's very knowledgeable by the way he got straight to work and knocked it out in no time. He even went back and repaired our kitchen sink a second time just for safe measure since whoever installed the plumbing before royally messed up.
I was really impressed when he refused to leave it the way it was and saying he didnt want it to possibly bust one day and flood our house. He went above and beyond to repair our current and future plumbing problems and even adjusted the shower heads. There is absolutely no reason to pick any other company if J Squared Plumbing is an option! I wish you guys the best, other companies should take notes from these guys!

Do not use this company. Plumber Ricky overcharged me to replace a shut off valve for my kitchen sink because I am a female and assumed I wouldn't know any better. After speaking with my boyfriend and father I was told that there is no way it costs $348 for the job. Who does this to someone at Christmas time?!?!?

J Squared came out to repair a cracked PVC fitting from my main water shut off valve back in September 2015. This month, we had a huge water bill and called J Squared to find out what was going on. Broderick Jackson arrived and It turned out that all the work J Squared previously performed was great, but that the new replacement fitting had failed. Mr. Jackson didn't want the same problem to happen again so he removed all the PVC fittings and pipe and sweated in new copper lines and worked with me on the final price and only charged me for the service fee and materials as a result of the prior repair.
Water is back on and most importantly, no more leaks. Thanks so much to J Squared and Mr. Jackson for their great work, promptness and reasonableness. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber in the Atlanta area. Thanks!

I was referred to this company by a friend. My dad had some issues with his water heater a few months ago where he couldn't get it to stay on. I called the guy I was referred to (which was the owner Mr. Jackson), and he says he would send his guys out. They came, I wasn't there, but my dad said they were great. He said they were so nice and professional that he even tipped them.
The greatest thing was that Mr. Jackson came by my dad's house a few days later just to check the job of to make sure it was done correctly and efficiently. He is very professional and personable and I appreciate that about him. I have referred this company to many ppl. Now I'm am purchasing said house, (my dad bought another house down the street), and calling them to do my plumbing for my bathroom remodel.

I didn't pick this company, they were sent out by my home warranty company. Because my home warranty did not cover the problem they found, the company left me with a bill of $190 just to cut a small hole in my my wall and identify the source of a leak. If I wanted the leak fixed it was going to cost me more. On a positive note, the technician they sent was very polite. Not very helpful, but nonetheless polite.

Called them in because of a toilet overflowing. They said $65 to come over. fair enough. then they said the ball needed to be changed and a toilet snaked. Since it took under 5 minutes to do, we asked them to change 2 others. WOW. a $400 bill (not itemised), each ball was $60. you get them at home depot for $5. Never use them. I have complained about them to the better business bureau as well.
