In October of 2019 I contracted D&B Plumbing to decommission my septic tank and to hook up my home to the city sewer. They competed the work but never did decommission the tank. Even after I have paid them to do so under contract. Now I am not able to sell the house until it is fixed. I have tried to reach out to them multiple times but they have never responded back or seem to care. May have to go the legal route.

I felt like the work performed was done well. However, I don't think they are well organized or very professional. I think they just forgot about us. They performed some home warranty work for me and did a good initial assessment and job. They ordered a part for a permanent fix and told me they would let me know when it was in and to schedule that visit. 2 months pasted and I contacted them.
They said they decided it was just a cleaning and my home warranty wouldn't cover the replacement part. While talking to them I got a notification from my home warranty to rate the service of the contractor. This means they hadn't actually closed it before but that they had forgotten and decided to do it now. Even if my home warranty company wouldn't cover the replacement part, if they had offered to put the part in I would just hired them to do that part of the job anyway and not thought anything about it other than they probably should have let me know what was going on earlier.
While talking they tried to say it was my fault and the home warranty companies fault for them not doing anything or contacting me but I feel like a call or text saying the company wouldn't support the replacement would have been sufficient and I wonder if they really relayed anything to the home warranty company because the warranty company hadn't called either and I didn't get the service finished notification until I spoke to them about it.

D & B Plumbing is by far the worst plumbing crew i have ever came in contact with. not only did they not fix my leaks they also made them much worse. At one point I had to walk my mother to her car when upon coming back into my house i saw their crew "leader" and owners son chris stealing outta my wallet. i would never trust these ppl in my house if i was you. bad representation of any company.
