3 Mountains Plumbing

I'll spare you most of the gross details, but my house had a hole in the sewer line that was causing backups. Best we could tell, the hole was directly under the basement exterior wall making it a pretty big project (and, likely, bill). I had 3 Mountains Plumbing and another business come out to take a look and give me a bid for the repair work.

Because the hole seemed to be directly under the wall, they both suggested digging from both sides - interior and exterior, in order to replace enough pipe to make sure that the hole was fully repaired. I was told it's about $1000 per foot to hand dig a hole from ground level down to below basement level where the pipe is. We were looking at around 5-7 feet of digging, right next to the gas and water utility lines. Great.

While both bids came out to be about equal, I moved forward with 3 Mountains Plumbing. They seemed prepared to do the hard work and were able to work with me on cost a little bit. They also offer a 3-year warranty if anything were to go wrong with this again, they'll come out to see what's going on. They got me on the schedule quickly and the work was completed in one day - yes, that includes digging a 6 foot hole by hand.

They didn't mind me popping by to gawk at the giant hole in my yard. They also brought a TON of trucks, it was funny to see the street covered in orange vans. They left everything tidy and they let me know I may need more dirt for the exterior as the dirt they re-filled it with settles. Their concrete partner came out about a week later to patch the interior. Overall, communication was thorough, work was done swiftly, and I believe it was done with quality as well. The bill was tough to stomach but I don't believe it was out of line from industry standards.

DO NOT USE 3 MOUNTAINS PLUMBING! Cancelled TWICE at the last minute due to "emergencies." I can only assume "emergencies" pay more. Ridiculous company. Avoid them!

We had a severely blocked toilet that needed help, and Evan was quick and communicative regarding the options and getting it fixed. He also advised us on what to expect with our future needs regarding a leaky valve, and made sure we were set with the necessary follow up appointments before leaving. We highly recommend 3 Mountains for your plumbing needs!

This is a great business to work with. They were very responsive to our concerns and quickly addressed all issues in a timely basis.

Talk about unqualified, unprofessional, and just overall weird! Peter came to our place because we wanted to change out our shower valve and have an idea of the price associated with installing a wet bar. We also had, what we thought would be, a quick question about the drainage in our garage. This guy had absolutely no idea what he was talking about the entire time.

He thought the drainage was broken, multiple plumbers later stated the small amount of water was normal and helped to prevent sewage smell. He didn't know how to replace the valve without ripping out the drywall, and I had to actually provide suggestions on how to do it. After thinking it over, he realized my idea made way more sense than his.

The weirdest/worst part though was when he brought out his tablet and proceeded to sit on the floor in our hallway writing bids FOR OVER AN HOUR. We had no idea what he was doing, but he sat there typing out SEVEN BIDS. NONE of which were what we actually wanted done, and the prices were comical. $45,000 to have the plumbing redone in the entire house?! That's more than twice what it should be!

And that's not even what we asked for! He just kept typing and saying how fast things would be once he got going, but after over 2 hours of him doing absolutely nothing we had to eventually kick him out since we had to go. This guy, and company, are such an overpriced mess. STAY AWAY.

Clint and his team did a great job with the end to end experience! Especially trouble shooting and root causing our situation and ultimately the corrective actions, WELL DONE!

This company advertises a $93 main line clog special, but don't be fooled - it doesn't apply in most situations. I had a clogged line in my basement which i thought was main line - drains both the kitchen and clothes washing machine. Plumber arrives and says it's not technically the main line, quoted different options between $300-500. I opted for the $300, took only 5 minutes. Seems like a meaningless distinction and felt misleading.

3 Mountains Plumbing responded very quickly to my request for help with a water leak at my house. They were able to fit me in the next day, arrived on time, and found the outdoor leak very quickly. Everyone I dealt with from the company was kind, respectful, and courteous. They were able to schedule the repair for early the following week. Overall, this was a great customer service experience and I would highly recommend 3 Mountains Plumbing without reservation.

We're so disappointed that we worked with 3 Mountains Plumbing. They won't share their hourly charge when they do estimates (they just say it's $30 for the estimate). They ended up charging us over $415/hour for a leak repair in a basement bathroom. We shared our concerns with their customer service rep over 3 weeks ago and have checked in 3 additional times and they never reached back out.

Their pricing is neither competitive or transparent and they take advantage of folks who don't understand that the projects they are bidding high are actually not all that complicated. We certainly won't work with them again and would recommend that folks get multiple bids on your projects. In hindsight, we wished we would have.

My main sewer drain was completely clogged. Corey came out and he cleared the line in no time. Due that it was a main line issue, they also sent out a team to scope the drain to identify any issues. Great service, great attitudes, friendly and knowledgeable! All for only $93.00! No bait and switch, no hidden charges! Highly recommend this company!

These folks are phenomenal! Honest fair and very professional, I highly recommend 3MP for all plumbing needs! I'll use them again for sure. I got my water heater upgraded.

Marc was professional, informative, respectful and friendly. He kept everyone safe by wearing a mask the entire time. Worst customer service ever experienced. We spent over 16,000 and the job wasn't even completed correctly. Would never recommend this company

Plumber called ahead to advise his arrival time and arrived on time. Wore mask and protective shoe coverings. We demonstrated the problem with reduced water pressure and intermittent hot water. Plumber was quick to diagnose and fix the problem. Turns out the water heater filters were clogged - not something we knew about and probably wouldn't fix ourselves because of the high pressure nature of the water heater. Very satisfied with the service and definitely recommend this company to others.

We used 3 Mountains Plumbing to fix a clogged bathroom sink drain and had an awesome experience. As promised, I received a call before 10 AM letting me know that our tech would be here in the early afternoon. Around 1:30 PM our tech, Andrea, called to let me know they were 25 minutes away. Andrea was not only communicative, but also very professional and tolerant of our excitable young dog. Andrea worked quickly and effectively and described to us the likely causes of our clog when the work was complete. At $93 we are extremely satisfied with our experience.

They were great from my start to finish. I received a flyer in the mail for $50 off just as I was at my wits end dealing with another plumbing company that simply could not fix a leak I had (NW Sundance = horrible service). 3 Mountains Plumbing scheduled me within the week, emailed and texted me which plumber was coming and that plumber called me when they were on their way (Chris and then Kayne).

Both were professional and they quickly identified and fixed my leak, which the other company said their plumbers couldn't do. I HIGHLY recommend 3 Mountains Plumbing because they simply do great work and actually provided great customer service too! Many thanks for the repair.

Overall a great experience. I was hesitant to call any plumbing company in fear of a high bill or unneeded recommendations. Olivia (camera specialist) and Corey (drain tech) came out to help clear a clog blocking up both the bathrooms at our house for a few days. I must have mostly cleared it before they arrived so they didn't charge the clog removal fee despite spending quite a bit of time checking out my issues.

They were transparent about the entire process, pricing and what they found step by step. Corey pointed out some concerning spots to keep an eye on in the crawl space (rusty/calcium buildup on exterior of one pipe.) Olivia provided a full camera scope of our main sewer inside and outside of the house along with pointing out the condition of the pipes and a rough spot where the pipe walls are beginning to rust out.

I asked for a quote to consider replacement before issues arise, but felt no pressure to address anything right now. Definitely felt like they did a thorough job that wasn't rushed. Seems like these folks are in it for the long haul, not a quick dollar as many in the business are. I'll be calling 3 Mountains next time I have a plumbing need or clog.

Jason and the team did an excellent job on our huge repipe project. They were prompt, professional, wore their masks the whole time, explained everything as they went, and even finished early! Will definitely come back to 3 Mountains in the future.

Wow. So I called to get my mom's toilet fixed after looking at their service area map AND seeing a truck in town and I got a very unhelpful "We don't come to Fairview" and a hang up by the receptionist. No, "I'm sorry, can I suggest another company?" or anything. Sad that the receptionist is having such a bad day.and sad my mom's toilet still doesn't flush.

Nicholas went above and beyond to unclog my downspout drain. I was very pleased with his work

I hired them to replace a burst supply pipe. They have done the job. BUT $7500 is a lot of money for a repiping! They gave me the quote when I got worst situation, and completely rip me off. After I sign the agreement, I got quotes from the other plumbers, same job only $3000! When I was trying to cancel the project, they said I have to pay $2000 because they installed a temporary pipe!, 3 hours job for $2000, $700/hr? Folks keep calm even getting worst situation and get quotes as many as you can! If you have to use them Read Agreement CAREFULLY before you sign on any agreement! The cancellation fee is HUGE!

Three Mountain Plumbing did a great job for us during an emergency we had about 3 weeks ago. Due to a rusted out flange we had sewage leaking downstairs into our basement. Pretty much everyone's nightmare. 3 Mountains came in and fixed the immediate problem and also fixed a small bathtub leak we did not know about. They also fixed a broken toilet we had in the basement.

They also fixed a leaking shower valve that we have not been able to use. Three Mountain's Plumbing did a great job fixing our issues and there customer service was wonderful.

My plumbing is old and backs up at lease once a year. I've used 3 mountains plumbing before and was happy so I called them again this year. My sink backed up last night. I called them this morning. The said they would get someone out today. I was very happy I didn't have to wait until Monday. Nicholas came out, was very professional and got the drain cleared out.

Don't use 3 Mountain Plumbing unless you want to play phone tag, cancellations, high prices, inferior work, and quoting non-existent issues needed. I initially agreed to have a new water heater installed at 3K: Very Expensive (this did include 9 yr warranty & a cheap nondescript kitchen faucet & install) Within a few months I noticed cloudy water.

I called & left messages, setup appointments: no shows. Finally on the third try the plumber came & said that the anode was defective on this water heater & another client had same issue: the anode was disintegrating into the water! They claimed no health issues?! The plumber said I needed an additional $450 to purchase an expansion tank on top of my water heater because I have a water pressure gauge.

Okay THEN, when I turned off the water, it would sometimes make a squeal sound & I noticed louder pounding on my pipes when washing clothes etc. 3 Mountain Plumbing came out. The sound didn't appear BUT they had 3 bids to fix the problem starting with the highest bid at 8K to run new water service plumbing to house with new valves etc. Long story short: I searched on YouTube & googled the issue. I simply tried to just turn down the water pressure with my handy dandy screwdriver and what do you know? ISSUE SOLVED! I saved $8000 dollars!

If you have a leaky faucet or need a new water heater, it might work out okay. But if it's complicated at all, you will experience endless voicemail and phone tag. We had multiple occasions where the technician didn't show for the appointment without calling. This caused us to sit around a all day waiting. But, the icing on the cake was when the plumber cut through our gas line and refused to fix it without re-plumbing the whole house from the meter in. Walked out leaving us with no heat and no indication of when they would be back.

They just don't care. Update: After a rather heated discussion with some suit over at 3MP, they reluctantly agreed to repair the gas line they cut during the drain install. So now we have a working drain and gas. That took 3 days, but, at least some progress. Update 2: City inspector came by today. The drain failed the inspection. "Improper Venting".

He did say we can continue to use the kitchen while 3MP tries to figure things out. Update 3: Today there was a knock on our front door. After a little of confusion, I figured out the gentleman knocking was the city inspector. Unfortunately, he was supposed to meet 3MP here for a second attempt at the inspection. Unfortunately, 3MP weren't here.

I told him I had no idea what the plan is. I.e. no contact from the plumbing company. No clue. So he left. 15 minutes later, 3MP called saying we have an inspection today. After telling them of the the situation, they called back saying the inspector won't work with them. Can't say when the inspection will happen. So we still have a huge hole in our family room floor, and no plan to fix it.

I'm a Realtor, and I really wanted to like 3 Mountains Plumbing, but I just can't. I contracted them to replace the supply and waste lines from my kitchen and laundry and to create a new connection to the main trunk line in my basement. All the staff was very personable and sweet, but. 1.) I needed a call back because they left me with no hot water at the kitchen sink. 2.) I needed a call back because they forgot to reattach the condensate line from the furnace, left it tucked up into the ceiling, and I discovered it after it had dripped all over things for the weekend.

They zip-tied the blind cord into the condensate line, so I've had to re-do their work. 3.) They disabled my smoke alarm and didn't tell me. (I would be utterly enraged if they had left one of my clients vulnerable like this.) 4.) They left the new laundry sink floating off the laundry wall at a weird angle. I'm probably going to re-do this section of their work. 5.

They broke a 5 gallon water container and left it leaking/didn't notice. 6.) They wanted payment in full before the work had been completed (20' of concrete still needed to be poured.) 7.) The work meets code and passed inspection, but they chose the cheaper/faster option and used up lots of floorspace rather than add another cleanout for a 90 degree turn.

I have less effective storage in my basement now. 8.) They sent a notice of lien to my mortgage company, but not the followup release, so I'm spending time playing phone tag with my lender weeks after the work was paid for. This isn't horrible, it just isn't the experience that I want for any of my clients, and honestly I expected better for $10,800 of work.

I had my hot water heater leak and need a full replacement. These guys did an amazing job. Highly recommend! Dispatch got someone to me the very next day when I called them at 5 o'clock. The plumber (Colemann) was able to remove the old heater and get a replacement in immediately despite the location being hard to get to. All said and done we only had to go one morning without hot water. He really went above and beyond by recommending an electrician we needed to get the job done. He also gave us tips on how to prevent water damage from the leak.

Most of the negative reviews about 3 mountain are about pricing, but this one is about lack of training and poor policies. I've worked with many plumbers and other types subcontractors. I called 3 mountain about getting some finish trim installed (bath tub and faucet) and have never been told by any that they need to speak with the homeowner for "legal purposes".

There is no legal reason why they needed to speak to the homeowner. As a licensed general contractor, we are allowed to perform work on the property based on the scope outlined in the contract WITH THE HOMEOWNER. Train your employees better and don't make ridiculous policies like this unless your staff understands them and can communicate about them. Glad I avoided what sounds like a big headache to work with this company.

Compare whatever bid you get from 3 mountains. Their prices are absolutely ridiculous. I had a big job done for 1/3 of 3 mountain's bid. Don't know a lot about the quality of their work, but it's not 2/3 better than other companies. Get at least one more bid when dealing with this company. You will be shocked.

Septic system needed to be decommissioned & hook up to city They were quick to respond & scheduling was within a couple of weeks They were great to address and respond to any concerns or questions throughout the process They put boards down - walking & wheelbarrow- so that they would not disturb our landscaping & break our stone walkway. My favorite thing to share is the neighbors overheard Jon & Robert talking while working and in observing the work she responded: - "that must be a great company because the coworkers truly are enjoying the work that they do & they clean up end of day & they are very respectful to property - can I get their contact info" Thanks Jon & Robert for treating our home as you would yours Highly recommend.

I need replace my water tank, and the guy came quote for $2K. This is 50 gallon bradford white water tank. I know retail price is about $700 and 3 hours to finish. It is way overpriced quote. I refused and had another company coming performed same job for $1200. make sure you compare the price before taking their bid.

Thanks to tech Eric Davis, I cannot say enough good things about this company. He gave us notice when he would arrive. He was polite, professional, thorough and even cleaned up where our drains had backed up. He explained the charges, prior to performing the work. He also called directly to the front desk (where the staff also had a great attitude) and got us booked for the other needed services. I will recommend you to all of our friends, neighbors and relatives. Thank you very much. Well done.

Plumber came early on Tuesday to find a leak. Couldn't find anything obvious so we decided to pay $1400 (potentially $6000) to move to the next step, Leak Detection and fix. This required a $700 deposit, this charge came out immediately. Then.nothing. No follow up. I even called multiple times to find out when my Leak Detection might be scheduled.

No one called me back. Finally this morning, Friday (my water has been turned off this whole time) I received a call from the original plumber who told me "I think we dropped the ball here". NO ONE SCHEDULED THE LEAK DETECTION. I wasn't on anyone's agenda to follow up or do any of the work.all while waterless. What's even worse is the Plumber was able to get the Leak Detection scheduled on the exact same day as he called, this morning. Had absolutely anyone done their job right I'd be days into this process instead of feeling like I made a bad decision choosing this company. Again.they took my money IMMEDIATELY but had I not called I suppose they would have just not done the work? It's too late for me to start this process over again but if I were you I'd check with other companies first.

WOW! I had a plugged toilet. It was a nightmare because we only have the one toilet. I actually broke TWO plungers and pouring an entire bottle of bleach, a box of baking powder and two bottles of vinegar so you gotta think that's one helluva clean toilet. I called 3 Mtn Plumbing and played phone tag - it was annoying until I finally connected with their office while I was at work.

They assured me a tech would call and be out the next day (Saturday) when I would be off my work to be home. I got home late at night with a new plunger and fixed my toilet. YAH! I called them back and explained I fixed the toilet but there was worst clog we'd been dealing with for 4 months that prevented us from using our washing machine and the sinks to wash dishes.

They seemed a little confused that our tech wouldn't be able to help us and just make an estimate. Well, our tech was AMAZING! Andrea J was professional, friendly and strong! She gave us an estimate of the problem and FIXED IT! Her knowledge was excellent and she talked to us not at us. She treated us with respect with a genuine attitude that I'm very grateful.

When we need plumbing from 3 Mountain Plumbing I'll be asking for her professionalism specifically and settle for no one else. Andrea J fixed the issue, gave us great tips to keep the pipes clear (which I've heeded) and am so happy to be able to use all our plumbing without fear or concern. Did I mention the two week return option if anything gets clogged free of charge?

This is a great company. Oh wait, the price point? Only $94 to fix that clog that cost us time, energy, money and headaches. Such a great deal and a great service. We are loyal customers now. I'm not looking forward to another clog but I am looking forward to their excellent service if indeed that happens.

I don't recommend this company if you want to get your problem solved quickly. When I called for an appointment, the soonest one was a month out. Then they don't even give you an expected time slot until the day of the appointment. They did not contact me on the morning of my appointment to tell me what time a plumber would be coming. I had to call them to find out.

When that time slot arrived, the guy was late, by several hours. He called me to tell me when he was on his way, but he arrived later than he said. Once he was here, I saw his truck parked outside my house for about thirty minutes before he even came to my door. A job that he said would take about an hour lasted twice as long. He was nice and got the job done, but I did not like how long this whole process took.

The company should hire more plumbers so that one can cover another's appointments when emergencies arise and makes one plumber stay longer at a job than anticipated. The woman who answers the phone is definitely human now, but there is a delay in when she hears what I say, and vice versa, so that makes conversation more difficult than it needs to be.

Very pleased with the service I received from 3 Mountains. The water line to the house broke right before Christmas which caused all kinds of stress. I called 3 Mountains and they were able to get to me within a few days. They sent Marc to inspect and quote the project. He was so kind and knowledgeable and I immediately felt comfortable with him and the choice I made.

The water line was replaced within a day and a half. They kept me up to date with everything going on and got it done with little stress! Everyone in the office and all the gentleman that came to the house were super nice! They're gonna be back this next week to replace the sewer line! Also, a water line and a sewer line are pretty hefty projects. 3 Mountains gave us the best pricing by far! (I called several plumbers.) 10/10 would recommend!

Tristan showed up on time, was courteous, professional and did excellent work repairing a basement pipe that was leaking. The problem was fairly complex, but he explained everything very thoroughly and we were able to replace a few parts and fix this problem. This was our 3rd time calling/using 3 Mountains and we continue to be impressed by their staff and service.

We did initially get scheduled a week-out, but got bumped up to the next day due to a cancellation. Don't get too flustered if there is a wait, you'll prob get in sooner.
