Since 1974 our mission has been to provide prompt, reliable, courteous plumbing service for our customers at a reasonable rate. As the eldest son of a plumbing contractor/inspector, I have always enjoyed helping people solve their plumbing problems and that hasn't changed. To accomplish this I have put together a great team of people.
The most common reason for bathroom sinks and tubs to drain slow is hair. First, remove the pop-up or stopper and try to clean out as much hair as possible, reassemble and test. Plungers are usually not very effective on bathroom sinks and tubs, as the hair clings and is not a solid mass easily pushed out of the way.

We were very pleased with the work done for us by Kennedy Plumbing, particularly Randy. We needed to have some plumbing disconnected and reconnected for a new flooring project. There were other suggestions he made for our house that were inexpensive and timely. Randy was always on time, very professional and courteous. I recommend them heartily.

Randy was super friendly, went right to work on our problem and had everything fixed in an hour. He was very responsive and took my thoughts on what the issue may be to avoid doing unfruitful/expensive work. It was also nice that he provided advice on what we can do if we encounter the problem again with our other tub. I will definitely be using them again.

Main line to house fractured. Called Kennedy plumbing and they were able to schedule me in under 24 hours, others were too busy. Technician Randy was on time and recommended the best way to repair. He had all the tools and parts he needed to complete repair, he was also very personable and we had a good time talking while he completed the repairs. They have my recommendation and future business.

It's sad - these guys use to be a great company but we recently called them and were extremely disappointed. We have a 1977 updated house and wanted to replace some shower parts with a company that is still around but old. The guy on the phone was pretty helpful and said we could replace the old plumbing to the wall, and see what options we had for hardware.
The plumber that came out did everything BUT what we asked, did not do what we wanted, charged a lot (I think he did that to get his "hour" in), and even included "misc. fees?" After he left we waited for a couple days, noticed it was leaking. It was not leaking before, had not been leaking, no pressure problems, no heat/cold problems, so called them back.
Same guy came out. He replaced the rubber gaskets and now it is leaking more than ever! He said something about not being able to "guarantee 100 year old parts?" really? for 1) they are not 100 years old 2) maybe if you replaced the parts we asked you to it would not be leaking now 3) you're a plumber! if you can't fix it maybe you are in the wrong business.
He was also a bit unprofessional talking about the "government" etc. I don't think it's the Government's fault you are a crappy plumber. Won't use again. Skip this company.

Clay told us that he loves his job because he gets to be a hero, and that's exactly what he is to us! We had no water, and a clogged sink we were unable to clear. Clay was able to fix both in less than an hour and he arrived so quickly! We would recommend this company to anyone. Service: Faucet repair

Requested service through the website and Joel gave me a call very quickly. Joel was able to get a plumber, Jerry, out to my home within an hour. Jerry was extremely helpful, fixed our issue plus looked in to a couple questions I had. Thank you Joel and Jerry! You have earned a homeowner customer for life with your friendly attitude and quick, thorough response.

An outside faucet was fixed with a $20 part and a $143 service call. The part that was replaced broke less than a month later and I called to have it repaired again. I was told that I would have to pay another $143 service charge for another repair. I used Kennedy previously and rated them highly, but I can not accept their lame excuse of not taking ownership for their previous work. I'm done with this company. Word of advice to Kennedy. Seek first to understand before being understood.

We are so glad that they can come out on the same day that we called. We just replaced our water heater but for some reason our kitchen sink not able to get the hot water and very low flow on the hot water. Turns out last owner did not installed the sink compliant to the code! Clay did a great job and a fun person to communicate!

I am never calling these scumbags again and I will recommend against them to all my friends and acquaintances. They did a lousy 15 minute job yet they charged me 1hour and 15 minutes claiming the time starts when they start driving from their last job towards me and that time to process payment is also charged at the same rate. Some of the materials replaced were quoted at a much lower cost than finally charged or not quoted at all.
A bitterly unpleasant experience at a cost of $ 270.00 for what I could have done myself for 1/5 of that. Do yourself a favor. Learn from my experience and do not hire them ever.

Discovered a small leak (drip) in the hot water pipe in the ceiling in our laundry run. Spoke with Joel also sent him a photo of the connection where the leak/drip was coming from. After reviewing the photo he set up an appointment to get it repaired. Clay (plumber) arrived on-time and got right to work not wasting any time chatting while "on the clock".
That really tells you all you need to know about Kennedy plumping. Clay completed the job very quickly. On-Time, fast, reliable, and efficient. BTW, the repair cost was FAR BELOW what I thought it would be. In fact it was very a very pleasant surprise.

Except for the fact that we had an emergency situation and they were the only company that would come out on 3 hours notice and fix it, which we appreciated greatly, I would give them one star. We had a major underground leak in our main water supply outside the foundation, so water had to be shut off to the house. I dug up the leak and they fixed it and got the water back on. Great!
But only after the $500 repair was done was I told that the fix was only temporary and should be redone permanently. I probably would have told them to go ahead anyway since we needed the water back on. But still. They also neglected to install a new water shutoff valve ("you can shut it off at the street"). Also told me (falsely) that the PVC water supply pipe to the house would need to be replaced soon because it was almost 25 years old. Also said the proper permanent fix would cost "thousands". I got another company out to do the permanent fix, which Kennedy could have done, for only about $300.

When we first bought our home, we needed a plumbing company to fix some leaky faucets. We used Kennedy plumbing and they were great. Everything is still working great! After some remodeling, we needed a plumbing company to do quite a few things to our home. The timeframe didn't work with Kennedy, so we tried out another local plumbing company. Worst mistake ever.
After wasting our time and $850 with another company (who only managed two of the 8 things we needed completed, and what they included in their estimated timeframe/job list estimation)- we hired Kennedy plumbing again to finish up the job. They are timely, honest, and knowledgeable. The rest of the "items on the list" are completed and they didn't have to come back at all (not to mention NOT 3 different times) for any leaks. Kennedy plumbing is the only plumbing company that I will use! Highly recommend.

They charged us 69.00 for drive-time. We live in Beaverton, which is their service area. When I called they said they inform everyone that calls in that they charge you for drive time. But I was the one that called so I know that they never informed us and I would never use a plumber that charges for drive time. You shouldn't either. Other reviews before me confirm this. They don't tell you they are charging you to drive to your house and sure as hell hope you don't find out about it.

Scheduling was great, they got me in early, then called back to say they could do the work the same day! The plumber, Jeremy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. He took care of the work in record time, and even helped out on a side project. Rates are reasonable and I would definitely go with Kennedy again!

I recently hired Kennedy Plumbing to replace my water heater. Kennedy Plumbing recommended Clay as they explained he was an expert in water heaters. Clay called ahead to let me know when he would arrive. He showed up on time and did an outstanding job. He was very friendly, extremely competent, and went the extra mile to ensure all the air was out of the pipes.
He provided excellent customer service and encouraged me to call him if I had any further questions. I would highly recommend Clay and would use him again the next time I need a plumber.

Very happy with the service we received from Clay at Kennedy. My family, including a newborn and toddler, had to go stay in a hotel because a sewer line broke in our crawl space. Clay crawled under our house in 106 degree heat and subjected himself to our waste to make sure he could fix the pipe so we could get back home and start using our plumbing again.
He was quick and efficient and fixed the problem when other plumbers we called didn't want to deal with it. The bill was very reasonable and I would have even given him a tip if credit card slip had a line for that. Thank you for saving our family!

I had Kennedy Plumbing come out originally to fix a leaky toilet before I could move into my condo. Turns out the shut off valve was broken and the plumber could/would not shut off the main water supply to fix it. Cost me $136 for that service call. I then scheduled a shut off with my HOA which I had to wait more than a week to arrange. Rescheduled with Kennedy with the intention of fixing all the valves both bathroom and kitchen.
They did not show up and when I called they said I cancelled the appointment, which I did NOT do. Was told by Justin the he couldn't get anyone to come out till the following week which would not work. Was able to get it done by another plumber as an "emergency" because I was scheduled to move the following day. Clay did call back later and apologized for their mistake.
He offered to come out after the fact. Bottom line is that if Kennedy had come as scheduled I would have had all the valves checked and repaired at once. What really happened was that I had to have a plumber come again to do the kitchen which cost me $$$. My total out of pocket for 3 shut off valves is over $500 due to having multiple service calls which I would not have had if Kennedy had come as planned.

Highly recommend! Clay came to our home three times do repairs on some shotty plumbing that we found during a master bath remodel. He always called ahead to let me know when he would be arriving and brought drop cloths so not to damage our floors. This is a guy who really loves his job and the company he works for! They were reasonably priced and scheduling with Josh was easy and he was very courteous. Would definitely call them again.

We've always had really great service with Kennedy Plumbing and our usual go-to guy, Clay. So far we've had 3 rooms renovated where they've come out to replace all the old galvanized pipe and install new shower/laundry plumbing. It's sad to see some other poor reviews, but our experience has always been solid with Clay.

Plumber came to do a repair on a job. Broke the existing piping and I had to pay for the material and time for the plumber's mistake that he brought on himself. Upon job completion insulation was not put back that was removed to access the waterline. Would not recommend Kennedy Plumbing and would recommend going elsewhere. Being a tradesman myself this is very poor customer service and poor craftsmanship.

The last 4 reviews they've received of 1 star tells the story. In our case, they called and canceled our appointment 15 minutes before they were supposed to show up. They said they don't have any other plumbers to send out. I asked to speak to the owner and was told "he's retired". They were completely indignant and don't deserve your business.

They came out yesterday to repair a leak at my main water valve. The plumber who arrived told me that it would take 3+ hours and require drywall repair to replace the valve, and that it just needed to be tightened. I was certain that he was wrong (and later learned for sure that he was), but I was in no position to argue with him given that my garage was slowly filling with water.
After he left, I discovered that it is now impossible to turn the valve at all. Since the water is OFF, I'm stuck with the water off until someone comes back to do the repair properly. In addition, he introduced a small leak in the plumbing pipes adjacent to the valve, so my garage is again filling with water. I called their office at 5:59 p.m. and discovered that they had closed early.
I was pleased to hear that they have an emergency number. However, when I called that number (3x), it was disconnected. The next day, I received a call back from Joel, their service manager. He offered to send someone out first thing this morning. I asked if he could send a different plumber, since I didn't have confidence in the first guy. Joel replied that no other plumber was available for at least 24 hours, and that if I wanted immediate service, it would have to be with the same guy who came yesterday.
When I told him that sending someone out today was the most critical thing (since we have no water now), he apparently believed that I was insisting upon a different plumber immediately (even though I wasn't) He then demanded that I make up my mind and choose either the same plumber today or a different plumber tomorrow. Without waiting for me to explain that I already decided upon the same plumber today, he told me to call back when I had decided, and then he hung-up.
I called him back immediately and again asked him to send someone out immediately. He hung up on me again. I called him back again to ask him to send someone out right away, and he informed me that he would never be sending someone out to repair the damage that Kennedy did yesterday, that he was refunding my money. He then hung-up on me yet again.
When I called again, and asked him why he was unwilling to repair the problems he caused, he called me a liar. When I asked him why he kept hanging-up on me, he said that he had never done so and that there must be something wrong with my phone. He then hung-up on me yet again. I called him one final time to let him know that I would have to hold him accountable for the cost to repair my water system.
He told me to never call him again, and hung-up on me yet again. So, thanks to these incompetent people, I have no working water in my home at all, a wet garage, and they refuse to send someone out to repair. Obviously, I would not use them again. Update: I found a different plumber with good ratings via Yelp. He came out and was able to replace the defective valve in about an hour without cutting into any drywall. He also repaired the leak that Kennedy's plumber caused.

If you book a appt with Kennedy plumbing be sure that you understand that it is a hard $120 per hour with an hour minimum. The tech came into the garage, looked at the hot water heater (which was malfunctioning), advised that it was too old to fix, said I could contact the office for pricing on a replacement, and left the house (total 6 minutes). The tech did not know what the cost would be or what brand of replacement water heater the company was currently using.
We ended up using a different company and had a much better experience. When my card was charged for the full $120, I contacted the supervisor (Joel) who listened to my complaint but was unwilling to come down on the price. This review is simply to warn prospective customers of the billing structure and to let other companies know that a reasonable response to a customer can be helpful to a company. The tech from this company provided no useful service. I can not recommend this company.

I paid $212 for a show head replacement. I was shocked. They were nice and friendly over the phone and their website seems like they are very professional with good reviews, but my experience was not good. The manager told me after that they will continue to run the clock and charge me until they can receive payment. I paid them when they asked for payment. I believe in paying a fair wage for work but this was way too much.

I had a great experience with Kennedy. They sent Brian (30 years experience) to install a new kitchen faucet and water purification system plus assorted little jobs in our new (new to us) home. He arrived on time and was extremely courteous. I'm inept at most home repairs and he answered my questions without talking down to me. Great service. Price was fair considering all the work. Very impressive. I also found a coupon on their website good for $20 off.
