I started the business in 2000 with my Master Plumber's license and focused my attention on residential and commercial service work. We started with one box truck working from my home and it has grown into a multi-million dollar corporation with an extensive fleet of service trucks, licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians. We are having our kitchen remodeled. When the installers removed the kitchen bar, they discovered that the two main supply lines were too tall. The lines just needed to be trimmed and recapped. A call was made to my rental management company by the remodeling company. Thinking that is was a minor item, my rental company contacted Four Star plumbing to cut and cap the lines.
I did not know they had been called until later that day so called Four Star for a quote. Apparently the plumber had already made his way to the unit. I was told that the quote was not ready and would be sent to my management company. The following day, through the the remodeling company, I found out the plumber has completed the work and even broke a water valve.
I immediately contacted Four Star plumbing. The receptionist said she could not provide me, the owner, any information about the work or cost because they were called by my management company not me. How ridiculous! I asked her why there wasn't a quote like she told me the day before. She said they only provided quotes for residential not when property managers request service.
Again ridiculous. When my management company finally received the invoice, it was over $400 dollars to cut and cap 2 small pipes! Four Star said they had to complete an emergency valve replacement that added to the cost. Huh? Why didn't Four Star contact the management company to advised what happened? Because they never called the management company and the plumber broke the valve, they decided the reduce the cost.
I had the building maintenance and my management company's maintenance check for a repaired valve. No apparent newly installed valve. It was also discovered that water in the unit was not turned back on. Wouldn't a plumber who capped water lines check to make sure the work was done correctly and turn back on the water and check for leaks? Just terrible!
When Four Star would not provide me with any details, I asked to speak to the owner. I was told that I would receive a call. No call back that day or the next. If you rent your property, I would advise your management company not to use Four Star. It appears they overcharge the rental management companies thinking the owner's will just pay it and then the work is questionable.
If this is an incorrect statement, I can't even give the company a chance to explain because apparently no one can talk to me because I didn't originally request the work. I'm just the owner.

Daryl was very professional as we worked through the details and quote for our water damage repairs. Our repairs were delayed due to COVID issues but once everything was back on track Daryl we available and had the team ready and on time. We can't speak highly enough about the repairs/painting job that Cheryl and Danny did for us. Cheryl was was extremely detailed and made sure to make sure that the colors matched exactly.

My Mother 82 yrs. old had no air conditioning on 7-16-2021. (Friday). I called Emergency service to come out and he replaced Freon which lasted overnight. I called the next morning to schedule a new unit, but closed til Monday for scheduling! This house was 95 degrees and my Mother has asthma. There was no mention of any temporary air conditioner for her, so my brother-in-law bought a Portable one for her bedroom on Sunday. Monday, My Mother and I spoke to the office to schedule a new unit and they kept saying they had to talk to the "Manager" and would call back!
They never did contact my Mother nor I and on Wednesday, I called another company for a quote! After 5 days of 90+ degrees in her house other than her bedroom, She was exhausted and called to cancel and they said, "So you're canceling for tomorrow? Still had not called either one of us! Where is the communication problem within this Business? She decided to go with another reliable Company! Now it will be "Saturday "before they can install the new Heating and Air Conditioning. One week has gone by without Air condition for someone 82 years old!

We've been doing business with 4 Star for approximately 7 months since purchasing a home in the area. Our first experience was plumbing related during that transaction we signed up for the service contract. When we were due for our AC inspection they contacted us came out and found something not working properly. They fixed it right away. Fast forward to this weekend when all of a sudden the air conditioner stopped working.
It was after hours but we had friends last staying and renters coming in for the week. We called and 4 Star was there within a hour. It was our friendly, knowledgeable tech from our first service inspection. He found the issue and had us back up and running within a hour. All of our friends were so impressed that a company would actually show up after 11pm on a weekend. Thank you for your hard working and dedicated team. We surely appreciated your customer service.

Called FSP to repair a leak under sink prior to my son s wedding. Technician repair the leaking joint at the sub floor and put new cut off valves. Old valves were find. One the leak was corrected and technicians left I found the hot and cold water lines reversed. One bill was received I was floored. The invoice was totally over invoiced. I talked with plumbing service manager and he corrected immediately.
He said he would send a technician out to swap the lines. I gave three stars due the quick service and professional attitude of the technicians and the quick response to correcting the invoice. I also got a quote to change out all the old piping on my older home. The quote was over 3500. I have had two other companies bid the job and its just over 1k. Two bath rooms and mud room. Service manager is to review the estimate and advise. Waiting!

I had a 3"- per day pool leak that you "fixed" for me about a year ago by Four Star Plumbing and about six months later the water loss started again at about the same rate, 3" per day. I thought about asking them to come back, but someone else was recommended and I'm glad I didn't call Four Star. I brought in someone else to look for the problem and it turns out the "new" leak was at the same place and with the same lines Four Star "fixed" before.
After removing the concrete decking, the new company showed me how fittings were attached improperly and had been caulked to prevent leaking as opposed to using proper threaded connections. The water line fitting that penetrates the pool side wall was caulked instead of threaded--no threading whatsoever--simply pushed in place and caulked. Even the wrong size fitting was installed. Again, it was simply pushed in place and caulked instead of being threaded!
At this fitting, the caulking had to be stripped out of the threaded female connection before it could even be pressure tested. All of these issues were pointed out to me before I told them "who" fixed it before. I work with contractors frequently and know shoddy work when I see it. I'm also very familiar with tradesmen blaming someone else for poor work.
In this case, I wish I'd made a video. The work was "that" bad. Other than the approximately $1,500 I spent on Four Stsr's work, the worst part is that everything that was wrong with the connections was simply laziness and/or lack of knowledge. The decking was open, the fittings needed replacing and it would have only taken a little extra time to get the right parts and to do a proper job. This would have prevented me having to have another company correct Four Star's work at an additional expense.
