Absolute WORST people in Tahoe. Horrendous communication, extremely arrogant and rude tech (Jason) and even worse attitude from the office. Never approved any of the work they did, then they had the audacity to upcharge us out of spite. Charged us 3x the retail price of a thermostat that we never agreed to have replaced. Horrible, horrible customer service. Their vans are a visual clue as to the type of work/service you can expect. Absolute garbage company.

I have been a long time user of Rudy's plumbing. In the spring of this year I called them about a broken pipe. They said that they did not have anyone to come out and fix it. The previous year, (2017), I called then to come out and repair a broken pipe, They sent Tracy out. He repaired the pipe. I paid him $149.99. After he left I could still hear water running under the cabin.
I called him right away, but he would not come back. He said to call the office. OK, I called and they came the next day and I had to pay another $149.00. He should have check thoroughly for leak and fixed them both at the same time. They used to be good. I will never use them again. I have also heard other people say this in our tract. They seem to have a habit of charging more than once for the same thing. They are busy now because of the economy. One day the economy will not be so good and perhaps they will not be so arrogant. 9/8/2018

I have a condo in upper Kingsbury with a malfunctioning Fireplace insert. No one seemed interested in helping until I called Rudy's shop - where I was well treated by caring and capable people. They are fantastic! even though they only service in California, I received professional advise, support and the parts needed to get my fireplace incert up and running like new. Thank you - well done - for sure my go to place.

I own multi family housing in Lake Tahoe. I made an appointment with Rudy's on 4/1/15 for 10am. We waited at the job site for 20 minutes and we got a call from them that they couldn't come until 3:30pm, we agreed. But an hour later the owner calls us and wants to be paid in advance. This unprofessional business should be run out of town. We also reposted them to the City of South lake Tahoe.
