Hoffman Plumbing was founded in 1967 by Harold Hoffman specializing primarily in new construction plumbing services.In 2014 Joe Ortiz moved his family from Arizona and purchased Hoffman Plumbing. Mr. Ortiz is proud to continue the tradition of high quality service that Harold Hoffman had instilled in this company and that Northern Nevadans have become accustomed to over the last 50 years.

Alan Bianchine & his working partner came to my house faster than expected and installed a new water heater. My old heater had leaked & flooded my entire furnace/laundry room & attached garage. They were very efficient, professional, courteous, & explained everything that we needed to know. We (my Landlord, Robert Gloria, and myself, Linda Briggs) were very pleased with their service & would highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance with plumbing of any kind.
In fact, Robert is planning to have them work on a forth-coming plumbing job at his own home. We have also had Joe, the owner, hook up plumbing (several years back) to my new refrigerator that had a water dispenser and ice maker. They are very well-educated in the work that they all do. Their office assistant(s), (Lisa), is/are very courteous, efficient, and professional as well. They are a pleasure to do business with.

The staff at Hoffman Plumbing made a stressful experience (who doesn't need hot water?) so much less stressful! Of course the water heater needs replacing on Christmas Eve! Of course there's a water leak at our son's home ON THE SAME DAY! My call for help was returned even before I could finish leaving a message, and less than an hour later we received a call to schedule our replacement.
The gentleman who came to do the work was personable, knowledgeable and professional - we couldn't ask for more. Our son's experience was just as positive as ours - two endorsements from two households in the same family on Christmas Eve - what could be better?

I looked for a better alternative to Roto- rooters, which I had used before and became very expensive. Huffman and Plumbing had good reviews so I decided to try this Company. I am very satisfied with the service I received, and will use them again. They charged me no extra fees, and I got the pipe unclogged. The personnel at the main office ( specially Lisa) were excellent as well.

Excellent service! I highly recommend this company! They came out on a Saturday and fixed a leaking pipe in my cement slab floor. They very carefully removed just a small amount of cement surrounding the downpipe and located the leak. Cut out and replaced the leaking section, and finished up in just a bit over two hours. Great work, and reasonable cost. Hoffman Plumbing is now my go-to company for any future plumbing needs!

We had Jesse out to replace a shower valve. He came, he plumbed, and he left. On time. Neat and tidy work. Efficient. Pleasant and a credit to his company. Making the appointment was also a good experience although the date was a bit distant. Fortunately it wasn't an emergency. If it was, I'm guessing they would have figured that out too. Happy to have found our go-to plumber.

I've used Hoffman several times, but they were especially good on this last one. We had a seemingly simple problem, a shower drain that we couldn't unclog. Roberto did a heavy snaking and thought he had nailed it, but the clog came back next day. They came straight back within hours and figured out the real problem was a bad trap under the house. They fixed that, charging only for additional parts. You couldn't ask for better service or fairer treatment.

Making an appointment was very easy and I got a call back quickly (most places don't ever call back). A couple days before the appointment they sent out a reminder (always a plus). On the day of the appointment the plumber called and said he could be early and if it was OK for him to do so (yes please). He arrived right at the time he said he would and was friendly, did the repairs and even showed me how to do it to avoid a call out in the future (turned out to be a real simple process with my toilet model to fix leaky water tanks). Fast, professional and cared about saving me money in the future. I'll be using them again whenever needed - such a smooth process compared to previous plumbers I've used.

Hoffman Plumbing located in Carson City but servimg the four county region. I have worked with them and several significant plumbing problems. They brought several crews to address these issues. They are responsive, professional, and know how to solve problems. Their from office has also been a helpful, responsive and friendly part of the team. I recommend them.

From the first phone call to Erin in the office to the field technician everything was great! no over charging or upselling. We thank you guys for the awesome job. and getting out within an hour to take care of an upstairs drain clog. This could have been a nightmare with water leaking through the ceiling. Hoffman should be your got to plumbers in Reno. We wont use anyone else. ***** Five stars

We had a simple job (disconnecting the kitchen appliances from gas and water in preparation for flooring work). They showed up on time, were courteous and professional, did the work expeditiously... What's not to like? We are definitely going to call them back to re-connect everything when the floors are done, and they're probably going to be our go-to plumber going forward.

One of the best companies I've worked with; these guys really have it together. They're really responsive when you have a problem; I got an email back quickly and then Jennifer reached out first thing the next day. Then they call some time before arrival with an estimated arrival time. Jesse was thorough, professional, and took the time to look everything over.
His recommendations were practical, and he was honest about what was important. At the end of the visit, the very reasonable invoice was quickly sent. When I needed a followup appointment, it was set up in minutes. I'm so happy to have found these guys and can't recommend them enough.

The owner, Joe, understood the urgency of our needs and tried his very best to accommodate us. Technician, Jesse, arrived on time. He was very professional and methodical in addressing our drainage & sewer backup issue. Thus far, our issues were resolved and as of this writing, we've not had any problems.

They've definitely made a return customer out of me. They were able to fit me in the schedule very quickly. I had a difficult and unique issue involving water hammering between my plumbing and irrigation. Even though the first fix didn't completely solve the issue, Jesse and Joe made sure to make me a priority until it was fixed, even though they don't often work on irrigation.
This included them having to do some investigation and contact irrigation experts for some ideas. I don't know many companies that would go through what they went through for a single customer. In the end, Joe's problem solving ability is what fixed the problem. I'm thoroughly impressed with their level of service. Their pricing was very fair and I can't say enough good things about them. They have made a loyal customer out of me. Thank you Joe and Jesse!
