And with the simplicity of his action, he often brought simplicity of thought. He comes from a generation that knows hard work. A generation that knows that every job is important, no matter how small it may seem on the surface. The Deptford Mall was pretty new on the scene in 1980. The Phillies were readying for their run at the pennant, and the hint of fall was in the air.
Chris is a third generation owner of the business and our sales manager. He handles new installation sales and is the man behind our Home Performance With Energy Star Program. If you are looking for great service, then Chris is the guy for you. He will make sure you are taken care of from the initial phone call to years after your system is installed.
Not only was all the work done satisfactorily, but the technician was also very courteous and friendly. We are so glad we tried you out - your service technician was wonderful and the work performed was superb! We'll definitely be calling on your company in the future for our plumbing and heating needs.
There is nothing better for your heating and/or air conditioning system than annual maintenance. Annual maintenance allows your system to work at peak efficiency year in and year out. A system that is maintained annually experiences considerably fewer breakdowns. This virtually eliminates the need for you to pay for costly repairs.

I have been using this company for all my plumbing and electrical needs for 8 years! They did my oil to gas conversion. In a very timely and clean manner. Also helped me to get set up with financing and rebates. They are very professional and will always come no matter what time or day it is. My most recent service was a boiler flush. He was in and out in N hour and arrived on time! Very friendly staff that will answer any questions you may have. All in all a good local contractor!

Fast response. Excellent diagnosis, repair & service by Chris. I have very high standards. Chris could not have done better. I can repair & diagnose most things, but I won't hesitate to call them again, and I'll recommend them.

I found this company's information on our heating system and I am glad it was there. A tech was at my home within 2 days of my call (not an emergency) and was beyond helpful, professional, and genuinely nice. He answered all my questions and gave great advice. The owner, Chris, completed a follow-up call to check in, which is rare these days - they seem to truly care about the customers. He too was super easy to talk to and I am actually looking forward to my cooling service in the spring. Highly recommend.

Had a bad experience. To be fair they tried to make it right. I got one price on the phone doubled at the door. So I understand that they have a certain billing structure but to be laughed at when I said I wasn't told was the moment I knew I would not give them any more of my money. They installed a munchkin boiler and it is super junk. I have to replace the spark plugs 2 times per year. That isn't their fault but it adds to my frustration. So I bought the part and installed it and I saved over 1000 dollars on the quoted price 1600. The part was 400

We have been a customer for more than 10 years and in that time I've had no problems with any of the service technicians being unprofessional. RPHCE had installed a Heating and Air Conditioning system a few years ago to replace the original unit for the house that was at the point where it was no longer cost effective to fix the various problems. All the work was outlined in as much detail as I wanted, and the work was done to meet that expectation.

They have come to our house within a few hours to fix the AC when its > 95 degrees outside, on a weekend when an asthmatic family member couldn't go somewhere cooler due to a recently broken leg. When I asked them to come to my house to consult/review/check my own plumbing work, the plumber was very knowledgeable and had a good attitude. If we ever move again, we are taking them with us.

There was a mistake made with a repair they performed on my boiler that created a significant headache for me and required additional repairs to be performed. Although I was frustrated with the error, I recognize that everyone occasionally makes mistakes. Importantly, this company dispatched someone very quickly to address the problem and even though it took several visits to finally resolve it, they acknowledged responsibility for the mistake, did not charge me for either the parts or labor for any of the additional work required to fix it, and provided me an extended warranty on the parts they needed to replace.

The owner also called me personally to apologize for the error and the inconvenience to me, and then in an exceptional demonstration of his good faith and commitment to ensuring I felt valued as a customer, offered to make a donation to the charity of my choice. As I said, anyone can make a mistake. It says more about this company that they were willing to do the right thing afterward.

We were assigned to Runnemede by our Home Warranty Company after the first company they provided us could not come look at our nom working heater for almost 48 hours in February. Runnemede had someone at our home within 2 hours of being contacted by the Home Warranty Company. The tech quickly determined the issue was with the motor on our furnace and submitted all the paperwork to get the part and installed it the next morning.

The company went above and beyond to assist us during a stressful time of not having any heat the day before our daughter's birthday party that was planned at our home. We will be requesting them again if we have any other issues. They truly care about the customers they serve.

Overpriced. Their contract service is expensive; it only gives you a 15% discount on other repair work. Crews aren't always experienced. Not worth the money.

Runnemede Heating company was selected for us through my home warranty contract. We were having problems with our garage door and Runnemede came out for the repairs. They were efficient, punctual and extremely professional. It was a pleasure working with a company who exhibits customer service. Sean (or maybe Shawn?) went the extra mile to make sure our garage door was operating as it should. thanks again!

Have been a customer for years and could not be more pleased. They have installed both my heater and ac system and have always responded without a problem even though we are over a hour away from there office. Office staff easy to work with and the techs that come to the house are top notched and trustworthy.

Buyer beware. I was charged $249 for approximately 30 mins of work (that's from the time the technician arrived until he left). In my mind, that equates to $500/hr fee. Even if I factored in a half hour for driving time, it would still be $250/hr fee. The owner/manager justified this rate by quoting me the costs of running a business - insurance, trucks, and salaries, but how is this any different or unique from other reputable plumbing companies? He didn't seem overly concerned that I will not be a repeat customer. I guess when you've fleeced one already, you don't need them to come back.

We have used Runnemede H/C/E for 20 years. They initially installed 2 AC units, and we have used them for the subsequent 20 years for maintenance. We had the pleasure of meeting a new tech this year. I thought our previous tech was irreplaceable, but a gentleman named Dave came this season. He was knowledgeable, courteous, respectful of our home and just a genuinely nice guy! Other than the once a year preventative service, one hopes to not not need unplanned service calls, but we will look forward to seeing Dave in the future.

My warranty company for my tankless water heater sent this company. I had some warm water before, when he left it was freezing cold and they refused to come back saying another company was coming out. Terrible service. I would not recommend them.

I needed their services twice in the past month to install 2 toilets. I saw them on Angie's list and gave them a shot. I met Mark on the first visit. Professional, friendly, and thorough. It took about an hour to remove the old one and install the new one. He cleaned up without asking and was on his way! Great job! 3 weeks later I asked them to send Mark back for the second one. Another great job, and a well satisfied customer.

I have gone through the various reviews of Runnemede, and while I cannot comment on them specifically, I can say that I have never had a negative experience. In my prior house, they were the only company that could fix a four-zone heating and cooling system that was installed by a different company. When we purchased our new house, we had a dead register and Runnemede was the only company to identify the source of the problem. As of May 2017, I would highly recommend this company over most others and trust me, I've had many others come through both homes I have owned.

Winter of 2014 we had Runnemede heating do a full install of a new Amana hybrid heatpump (Heatpump + gas furnace) and Central air. and the timing of it was during a really ice, snowy cold winter. Bonus fun is, we had to have SJ Gas run a gas line to the house during a nasty winter. As if that weren't enough, we were doing a kitchen remodel at the same time and wanted to remove the chimney in the center of the house, but needed the old heater still running until the last minute. Oh, and they had to have the old basement oil tank removed also!

It was a lot of coordinating on Runnemede Heating's part, especially with SJ Gas delaying the new gas line because of the brutal winter. Runnemede did an awesome job installing our Amana system, they moved two vents to accommodate our kitchen remodel, ran a new gas line for our new stove location, and then worked a gas line extension into the garage so I could later put heaters in the garage.

As I mentioned, the big challenge was the gas line, and RH could only do so much before the line was run and got the heatpump portion of the heater working first, so they could keep the house warm, and get rid of the old system and the oil tank. as well as allow us to complete the kitchen remodel. As soon as the gas line was installed they were at the house in days to complete the internal gas line and furnace work. and did a very professional job including all the extra work we asked for.

It ended up being multiple phases of install. and they were there like clockwork for each phase. Bonus is, we bought under the NJ Energy Star program, and qualified for the state $5000 rebate and zero percent loan. Its been 3 years now, and the system (Amana and install) works better than expected. I had some apprehension over a heat pump (which in our scenario is heat pump above 40, then the gas furnace kicks in below that), but it's really worked better than I expected. the entire house feels warm all winter long, and nice and cool in the summer. 10 yr warranty is a stress saver. I've recommended them to several, and a coworker did a full system install with similar success.

Absolutely great service! I called them because the main breaker kept tripping and of course while it was above 90 degrees outside. The woman who answered the phone was so polite and helpful. She quickly scheduled the electrician to come out within two hours. She also contacted pse&g for me because I was told by pse&g that the electrician had to come and unlock the box since we live in a condo complex. Sean, the electrician, came out.

He was professional and very nice. He wore booties over his shoes when he came into my house. He found the problem and replaced the main breaker. He said he would be done within an hour and he was. I really don't have enough good things to say about this experience that could have been so much worse. Everyone was polite, helpful, they came when they said they would and did the job right. I'll be telling everyone about them!

They did a phenomenal job on my oil to gas conversion and installing a new hot water heater / furnace system. Wish I could give this company 6 stars. I have had a couple issues since and they have come out no charge. I was prompted to leave a good review because I called them yesterday due to a leaking seal which leaked water all over my basement. When I called to let them know, they were out literally within a couple hours, fixed the part, and also shop vaced my entire basement for me. THANK YOU!

Positive: I needed a sump pump quickly because mine was not working and my sump pump well was overflowing. Runnemede Plumbing was available to come to the house at 6:00 p.m. The plumber was very nice. The work seems to have been done properly since the pump has been working for over a week. Negative: 1. The cost for replacing the sump pump was very expensive.

I checked around and even in recognition of a premium time charge, the cost was very high. 2. When I called the next day to ask about the warranty I was told that the manufacturer's warranty was 1 year, but, after checking the Lowe's web site where the pump was purchased, I saw that the manufacturer's warranty is 3 years. 3. I checked the reviews of the pump on the Lowe's web site and the overall rating of the pump was low with numerous complaints of the pump failing very soon after it was installed. A good plumber should provide a good product.

We used this service for several years after first moving to the area. They offered an annual 'preferred' level of service and we signed up for it. It turned out that it only covered inspections and it was about twice as expensive as regular charges by other companies. There were always additional charges after each inspection, too. We finally dropped them when they failed after five attempts to fix a simple leak in an outside water faucet that they installed.

At the same time they offered us a $1000 discount as a preferred customer to replace a hot water heater. The total estimate, with the discount, was $4999. Absurd. They harassed us with calls and pressure sales tactics for about a week before we told them to never contact us again. We found another local company that has been great to work with. They have done several small and large plumbing and heating and cooling jobs for us over the past ten years. They are definitely our go-to service.

Runnemede replaced my A/C unit in 2004, luckily I have never had a problem with it. until now. so last week I call to get it serviced, Judy told me Thursday between 12-4, my husband had to take a 1/2 day off of work to be home. At 3:30pm someone called him and told him they wouldn't be out. So we rescheduled to Friday the next day at 4pm. Friday comes, at 5pm I call the office, Kevin says oh the time frame is between 4-8pm, (that was not said to us initially) so we waited again. at 6:36pm on Friday we got the call that no one can come out.

Keep in mind, its hot out. I explained to Judy that I have 1 year old twins that are on monitors and breathing treatments and I need service because of my children's health. So yesterday I call, and we make another appointment for today from 4-10pm (which is ridiculous of a timeframe) and at 7:30am this morning Kevin calls and says Runnemede can't service us? WHAT are you serious?

Thanks for giving us the run-around since last Thursday. Word of mouth is your best advertising. trust me, I have a big mouth, and I won't be saying nice things about Runnemede. If your so overwhelmed with work (in this economy, not so sure that's the case) why not be honest and upfront from the start and say you can't come out due to lack of technicians.

I kept on trying to give Runnemede my business. Sorry. that no longer will be that case! Im very disappointed that Runnemede lead us on, my children suffered for the lack of courtesy and respect of Runnemede. Very unprofessional! Your slogan on your website is funny. EMERGENCIES DON'T TAKE TIME OFF. Neither does Jim, Jeff, Chris than why is it so difficult to get service for an emergency?
