Action Plumbing Inc I was very impressed with the professionalism of Howard, and the quick response time with Action Plumbing. It cost a lot less than expected and it's always nice dealing with courteous professionals. Thank you so much! Hello: I don't recall the technician's name, I was distracted while tiling my bathroom, but she gave superb service! She was very professional and personable.

I really appreciated how she took the time to do the job right and how friendly she. Action Plumbing, Inc. is the tri-state area's number one source for speedy, affordable, and dependable commercial plumbing services.

No matter what commercial property you own, a backflow device is essential. It prevents contaminated water from flowing through one system into your fresh water supply line. If this device should fail, serious consequences will occur. That's why it's important to have your backflow preventer checked annually to make sure it's in good working order and preventing any potential problems from occurring.

Rapers. Charged $395.00 to change supply line piping. Simple job. They wanted $600. to then connect new dishwasher, and $300.00 to take the old one outside.

These guys overcharge and rip you off first. Then when you call back to complain, then they send someone to actually fix the problem. I'm definitely reporting them to the Better Business Bureau after I explain why here. My pipes burst one winter in my basement. They send Steve over and he charges $200 for doing absolutely nothing and says he'll be back the next day to actually fix the problem.

He never called or showed up the next day. Called Action Plumbing the following day and they finally sent Aaron to fix the problem along with a few others. That guy was so nice he said they'd install a new faucet for free if I went out to the store to buy it cuz it's an easy switch. I was also charged over a hundred dollars but under $200 but this guy is worth it because he actually did fix things & he was trying to make up for that asshole Steve for ripping me off.

I had no water coming out of my shower one day and I had the replacement faucet ready and called Action Plumbing a third time and I specifically asked for Aaron. Instead they sent Julie. She charged like $200 for opening the shower handle to let the water run and let the debris come out (really? $200 to remove screws and turn the water on & off?!) and she lost the main screw to the handle of my shower.

Now the handle comes off every time I go to turn on the water. Then $200 to install the faucet that I already bought from Home Depot. & then another $200 for putting in new bits to the toilet on the second floor which leaked through the first floor ceiling and had water all over my kitchen and ruined the ceiling AND my new pantry door. She kept saying like "this would usually cost $200-+$300 for doing this but I'll charge u $180-$200 this time for this".

I call bullshit because there's no way anything cost that much if I supplied the parts and the job was so easy another plumber can do it in 5 minutes or less (which she did and other plumbers said so). Had to call Action Plumbing a fourth time to explain the leaking and mild kitchen flooding to send someone else to stop the leak. For once, the guy was free.

What Julie & Action Plumbing can do is replace the missing part to my shower handle, fix the toilet bits she put in cuz it started failing in a month, AND fix my ceiling and buy me a new pantry door. Oh but here's the catch, they'll probably charge me at least another $200 sending someone that won't fix anything and then send someone else who'll actually fix maybe one or two out of the list of damages and still charge a shit ton for their mistake and property damages. Yeah, no. I'm a really nice person.

I give people plenty of chances to make up for their mistakes. But, I'm not stupid enough to let these con artists back in MY house just to rip me off some more even if they claim to fix anything for free. Fuck that. I didn't even think to report them till someone at Home Depot told me to report them to the BBB when I told the plumbers everything that happened and why I'm playing a guessing game buying screws for my shower handle.

I called this company earlier today to ask for the potential cost of replacing a washer in the on-off valve in my condo. I realize that problems often cannot be diagnosed over the phone, but I asked how much the washer-replacement would be IF that were the problem, but they refused to listen to my description or give me a friendly estimate. Instead, they wanted to charge me $95 just to look at the problem. Then, they would give me an estimate, and if I went with them, the $95 would be waived, and I would pay for the repair instead. Well, if they need almost $100 just to look at a problem I'm sure that the cost of the repair would be exorbitantly high. Plus, I would have had to take off from work to wait for someone to look at what turned out to require an easy, two-second fix.

Listen to this contrasting story: I then called Cherry Hill Plumbing and described the problem. The nice man on the phone then told me to tighten the packing nut, which I did with a wrench. Guess what--PROBLEM SOLVED. He saved me $$$ and treated me like a human being, so now I will call them any time I have a plumbing problem, and I will recommend them to everyone.

Action Plumbing has a terrible default policy of never quoting over the phone, and as a result, they are losing business because I refuse to hire them to do any work now. I don't care if they are the most skilled plumbers around. They lost me to a competitor because of their lousy way of dealing with customers. Bravo.

TRUE STORY. Leaking Soldered Pipe after 10 months, NO HELP from ACTION. Months, days or a year a soldered pipe should rarely leak. I called the first time, got the understand and turn around approach from the front desk lady. I called again, I told them I now used you 3 to 4 times in the past to get work done, help me out! I got nothing. I called several competing companies, they said that type of valve conversion is simple and should not leak!

I called action the next day this is 12/10/14 the women told me "ow ANTHONY, says its out of warranty, you have to pay no matter what". Here is what I learned about this company. They LOVE helping you out when your paying, I paid, I think around 800 lifetime as of today, even 300 for the job I am talking about, but its been 10 months, and its leaking from 2 places into the downstairs of my house messing up paint, and drywall. So many plumbing companies around the area, STAY CLEAR of this one!

Got a clogged drain? Buy A bottle of Nair and pour it down the drain. Nine times out of ten this will solve your problem. We had Action Plumbing send out one of their "technicians" who ran the snake so hard that he snapped the drainpipe, scratched the HELL out of the tub, and then charged us $800 to put a temporary PVC drainpipe on that would only last six months by his own admission. Was clearly inexperienced, nervous, and guilty. We had a real plumber out two months later and he just laughed and shook his head at the guy's work.

Action Plumbing replaced our disposal (a $450 job) and 4 months after it was installed, a blade broke off while we were disposing vegetables. We had not put any hard items down the sink and the plumber they sent out said it looked like the disposal was defective. Since the disposal was onloy 4 months old and we had not misused it, we expected them to stand behind their work and replace the disposal with a new one, but they refused to do so, saying that the best they could do was offer us $50 off a new installation and they could send the part back to the manufacturer to see if they would warranty it.

Despite arguing with them, they would not relent and did not care when I told them I planned to warn others via the internet about them. I would not recommend using this company.
