Plumbsmart

This is a mixed review as we had 2 people come out. The first guy was very nice and walked us through what he needed to do to change the shut off valve on the main water line into the house and gave us a quote on changing the water faucet to our washing machine as it was leaking. This repair was going to require cutting dry wall so we decided to delay it.

We also asked about a water softener, but to his credit, he recommended that we contact PlumbSmart and ask for a quote from one of the guys that installs them. He was unable to shut the water off at the meter, but he called the City of Mesa to come out and replace the shut off valve at the meter because it was stuck and told us he would be back the next day to finish the job.

The city came out and turned the water off without any issue, so I called PlumbSmart and I thought the same guy would be coming out, but they sent Michael instead. Michael was clearly more knowledgeable and explained everything. He told us what the issue was with the washing machine faucet and thankfully, dry wall cutting is not needed to fix it. He walked through different scenarios for where to install the water softener and what would be required.

Both guys were polite and professional. PlumbSmart sent me a text with their names and I received a picture of Michael so I knew who would be knocking, which was comforting. My husband was home, but if I had been alone, it would have given me peace of mind. I will be asking for Michael specifically next time as he is a problem solver which makes all the difference.

I was in need of professional plumber to replace a hot water heater. Michael came our from PlumbSmart. He is very kind, knowledgeable, professional and communicates well his customers. Daniel was good at keeping me updated on the arrival time for the installation. Mike and Andrew came out yesterday to replace my AC (heat pump). They were great: informative and professional. They tested the system before they left to make sure it was running well and didn't leave until they were happy with its performance. They cleaned everything up very well before leaving. Very good experience!

Very responsive, fast, and professional company. Their electronic communication is amazing, and what one should expect in today's digital world. Tony, the plumber who did the work, displayed superior knowledge, confidence, and good and friendly customer service. Trent and Mike were my installation reps. Extremely knowledgeable, very hard working, diligent, focused on problem solving as needed. They did a great job, ran into a few unexpected obstacles, and figured out how to move forward. In addition, very nice and professional! They put in an incredibly long day, moved heavy units, did not rest or complain. Just got the job done! Plumb smart is lucky to have these men as focused hard working employees.

Thomas was on time and very professional. I got a 30 minute call when he was on his way which I appreciated. After inspecting the unit on the roof, he came inside and showed me pictures and described exactly what was going on with the unit. He had it repaired within 30 minutes at a fair price. A few days ago I had a leaky shutoff valve under my kitchen sink, I called in the morning and they sent someone out same day which was a huge plus because of the urgency of my situation. Both techs that came were very curtios, respectful and professional, their work was A+ and we will definitely call them again if we ever need any additional plumbing work in the future.

5+++ stars. Excellent service. I called them 1st, then cancelled because I found a cheaper price (Reddi Services). The person who came out did not want to go onto the roof, started naming different prices to do the service (than the one quoted), Very unprofessional. I sent him on his way and called back PlumbSmart. They sent someone out (from Mesa to Glendale) the next day.

I think his name was Mike. Oh my gosh, very professional, polite and a hard worker, went the extra mile. Had no problem pulling out his ladder and getting on the roof. He did an amazing job. I will call them back for whenever my air conditioner needs service. I will recommend and I will even try them for any plumbing issues that may arise. Good going PlumbSmart. Its hard to find such quality HONEST service these days, it seems.

I needed to replace my old electric hot water heater. Matthew came out and discussed we discussed my needs, he gave me a recommendation and quote. He was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. I decided to make the purchase and called the Co.regarding the estimate. They promptly transferred me to their installation department to schedule.

They were very courteous and scheduled my installation at the earliest time available. When it came time for it to be installed there was a problem that the Model I purchased is no longer being made. They called me and explained my options and I agreed with their recommendation and they immediately sent Mike out to install it. I was not home but my husband said our installer Mike was prompt, courteous, efficient and worked hard to complete the job.

Great experience. Jeremy arrived right at the first minute of the two hour window. He evaluated the four problems we were having, fixed everything he could quickly and professionally, and charged a fair price. One problem was still covered by the original manufacturer and he suggested that we contact them for the part that is under a lifetime warranty. I will definitely use this company from now on.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Matt did the quote and was awesome! We got 3 other quotes and was impressed with the response and professionalism of PlumbSmart. The following week Michael and Trent came out and installed the system (today). They blew me away with the communication and the time spent on the install. You can tell they truly cared about the install and the home owner. They were knowledgeable and just downright awesome! Highly recommend these threes rockstars and this company. Incredible guys! I had plumbsmart out to install my ac unit. They did a wonderful job taking care of me and were fairly priced. I work in the industry and was shocked by the install. They did such a good job that i have my whole family onboard with using them. I thank all the management and staff for helping me in a time of need. Plumbsmart is who i will call with any of my heating/cooling or plumbing issues. They saved my mom thousands on using their cool drain tools too. Thanks guys!

Called Precision Air and Plumbing yesterday, they came out attempted to clear a clogged drain line, he was here for a couple hours, and they couldn't clear the drain! My kitchen sink was still clogged, he said they were closed tomorrow and scheduled me to home back on Monday morning after Christmas, ( the tech was on the phone with a supervisor the whole time asking for assistance) I decided to try Plumb Smart, not wanting to wait until Monday, I called Plumb Smart, earlier today, your repairman came out, in less than 2 hours, polite professional, it was a simple snake of the kitchen sink, (he added a simple coupling for future needs to access easy cleanup),w hich he had on his truck!

And I was up and draining in the less than an hour. They cleaned up, very polite professional I will use them again and recommending them to anyone Precision Air and Plumbing couldn't snake a kitchen sink, and didn't have the proper tools and a coupling on his truck! This is the second time using their services and must say it was more costly than expected both times. They gave me an unsolicited quote for a new heat pump and ductwork that was so ridiculous it made me suspicious so I decided to check the BBB. Their average rating is OK but after reading the reviews I will definitly not be calling them when it's time to replace my heat pump.

Had a clog in bathroom. They were able to come out immediately same day. The technician, Jeremy, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and completed the job quickly and cleanly. Will definitely use again for plumbing needs. Service: Unclog drain

Quoted me $750 to fix problem. Then cut unnecessary holes into walls, didn't repair, then quoted me $6000. The actual cost to fix? $200 snake service. Which wasn't even recommended or done. Instead they wanted to jackhammer concrete, pull out kitchen cabinets and tile-ruining them - all not needed. Scammers

Wow! First time using PlumbSmart and will definitely use again! Darrell arrived promptly on time, was extremely courteous, professional yet friendly. Not a push "sales" tech at all! My name is Charlotte and I am writing this review on behalf of one of my dearest friends Dyana Cox. Let me me previse this with a little about Dyana. She has several debilitating medical conditions. She has a hard time moving, breathing and at times just existing. Obviously she is on disability with very little income. Since May of this year she has had no hot water.

Last week she called Plumb Smart to have them figure out why. They came on Tuesday and did a free estimate. Unfortunately they told Dyana she needed a new water heater. She told them she could not afford it but would try to come up with the money. Two days later they showed up at her home with a new free water heater and installed it for free. The plumbing technician even donated his time.

With all of the negative that we see it was not only refreshing but a blessing to see a company truly care. So if you need a plumber call Plumb Smart. They are an amazing, small family owned business with a big heart. Dyana via Charlotte

Had an AC system plus a reduct installed in April of 2020. Needless to say I will never do business with this outfit again. They sell products and services that they are not experts on and have no clue how to remedy problems that have existed from day one. They will come out as many times as you ask but never fix anything. It's the same old story and after 10 plus times, I give up!

At this point I'll chalk it up to a $14,000 mistake. Be careful when choosing a company to replace your AC, correct installation is critical and these guys did mine wrong. I could of closed my eyes and randomly chose a company out of the phone book and would have been better off than what I got from these guys. Buyer beware.

Our 5 year old Rheem gas water heater stopped working, and I contacted Plumbsmart to get an estimate to repair or replace the unit. James arrived and discovered that the tank had a leak. The unit was still under warranty and James offered to contact Rheem for a warranty repair. James was able to get a full replacement for a new unit, picked up the new unit and made a very professional installation and we are good for another six years. I highly recommend Plumbsmart.

It was necessary to replace the toilets in my master bathroom, which has travertine flooring, and my guest bathroom, which has carpeting. I had been putting off doing the replacements as I was concerned that the new toilets would not occupy the same footprint as the old ones, which were 40+ years old. The PlumbSmart technicians exceeded all reasonable expectations in terms of situating the new fixtures.

As PlumbSmart has done excellent work for us in the past, I should have known that there would be no installation problems. Plumbing problems can be a nightmare, so it's good to have a reliable company like PlumbSmart ready to provide help when needed.

Just after dinner I went to take a shower, upon entering the bathroom I was greated with some unsavory contents in my shower. Tried my darndest to unplug the nasty on my own, but no such luck. About 7 pm we began calling several "24 Hour" plumbing services only to be greated with machines and no call back. Finally on our 7th call with got an answer from this amazing company!

Within the hour we had our main man James S. at our home. He was a rockstar! Found the problem, fixed it and gave pointers for how to proceed in the future if the issue repeats itself! (Really wish I could have offered him a beer) Pricing was reasonable for an after hours emergency call! Will definitely be our go to company if we ever have another "unsavory" plumbing situation!

Whenever we need a plumber we always trust PlumbSmart to get the job done right at a fair price. We have been using them for our plumbing needs as well as our clients for several years. Our ac unit died on us in 108 degree weather. My husband is on oxygen and I am a dialysis patient. It was so hot inside our house. We called Plum smart. What a fantastic Business they responded within an hour. Nathan came to our house and fixed our air. He is fantastic! What an awesome employee. I will definitely use them again and let everyone know to call this business.

Called on Tuesday at approximately 3:27pm. Sebastian was here by 4:15pm. He repaired the shower valve cartridge and a hose bib in the back and left by 5:15pm. So appreciate the pricing fairness and punctuality. Thank you again!

We recently lost our AC repair guy due to him relocating out of state. As always, trying to find a technician that is not only going to be reasonably priced but also trustworthy and operates at a high level of integrity can be tricky. It appears as though we might've found a replacement with plumbsmart, as we recently hired them to do a job for us.

We never know what the technicians are going to tell us which does cause some apprehension. They can tell us anything and we have no choice but to believe them. Plumbsmart shared with us some of the potential issues that could arise in the coming months or years. He could've easily had and told us that we need to have our compressor replaced here right now to make some extra money but rather told us that we probably would have it for at least this summer or next summer. We appreciate the honesty and the reasonable pricing. Will be using them for all our AC needs as well as referring them to friends and family.

This is a plumbing company you can trust. I've had them to my house twice and it's been very professional and smooth both times. The other day David S. brought his truck to my house and did a fantastic job fixing a small hole leak I had out front. They have turned themselves into the only plumbing company I will call.

I called Plumbsmart Thursday Jan. 2, 2021 who sent repair man on Friday Jan. 3rd at the promised time. I had lost freon charge on my 2 ton mini split system which was installed 11 months ago. The technician was very nice and spotted the 1/4 connection fitting just where he guessed it would be at eye level on the wall above my unit. He had a replacement fitting on his truck and gave me an estimate to repair it.

My unit takes less than 4 lbs of freon at cost of less than $10.00 a pound and the cost of the fitting at cost of $30.00 or less. The job could be completed in one hour or maybe 1 1/2 hours. The estimate presented to me was for over $600.00.? Absolutely ridiculous. Please, Please get estimates before you use these people.

Great and quick service on a Sunday. And they didn't overcharge me. Yes there was an emergency call fee which was reasonable. The technician was polite and prompt. He went above and beyond. Will use PlumbSmart again!

Called PlumbSmart to take a look at my main water line as it was backed up. They were able to schedule a free consult the same day I called and met a nice gentleman Hernan. Hernan was very friendly and honest. What I love most was that he wasn't trying to sell me services I did not need. I ended up scheduling a Hydro Jet to clear out all the lines.

They were able to schedule the Hydro Jet in 2 days. My technician Gary was super helpful. He took the time to look at the leaks and even fixed a drain under one of my bathroom sinks for no extra cost. The Hydro Jet took about 45 minutes and my drain lines are all clear. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs and even better I saw they also help with any HVAC needs. Will keep them in mind for the future.

.well that was interesting.plumber showed up, this company I've used several times now, and he immediately starts with the might as well replace the entire tank for $1200 bucks. It's 11 years old. That's about how long they last. I say yeah but it still makes plenty of hot water for me.he say yeah but this is applying a patch to a unit that is probably full of calcium and going out soon blah blah blah.again with the not so soft sell of a brand new unit.

After going back and forth, I firmly let him know just replace that valve for now. How much is it? $289. I ask how much was parts and how much was labor. He showed me on his screen it was just the total price, 285 or 289. I said do it. I then watched him get a monkey wrench, undo the old release valve, put some pipe dope on the new one, screw it in.

That was it. I check on Amazon later and saw that valve runs about 15-20 bucks.took him about 2 minutes as he had to put that sealant of the new threads of the one going in. Called a highly Yelp rated competitor afterwards. They said they do it for $160. YouTube videos basically showed I could have done it myself and saved all that money for more tequila and tacos.feeling kinda stupid right now. I'm not trying to get anyone to do work for free. There's their time, experience, overhead, markup, etc.but over $200 for that job was not nice.and he didn't even bother to close the overflow pipe loop that wasn't done when the unit was installed.see picture below. I'd think for north of $250 for a 2 minute job, he could've at least fixed that up for me.think I'll be dealing with that equally highly rated competitor from right here in Tempe from now on. ps. Leap Day 2020-Owner of company has been trying to call me.

We spoke today. He was very sincere in his apology that I should not have been treated this way and made offers to make it right. I accepted. We talk about how important creating 'raving fans' for both of our businesses is. He's committed to using what happened here with me in a staff meeting to educated his folks out in the field about how he's wants customers treated at all time. This was not inline with how he runs his business. I believe him.
