My elderly grandmother's AC went out during a very hot, holiday weekend. I called after 8p on a Saturday, fully expecting to be told it would be a couple days for someone to come out, but was so relieved to hear someone could come out that evening to fix it. Eric was there within 30 mins and had her AC working again within a half hour. He was also very patient and kind with my grandmother, who's a talker. Our family is very appreciative of your service and willingness to help, especially when it's outside of your normal service hours. Thank you!

They installed a water heater in my house on 5-18-2014 (see pictures)Today 04/10/2021 my heater started leaking terribly and damage my floors. When I went to call about the warranty apparently is no longer valid because THEY no longer service the DFW area. What a joke! Don't believe their warranty! They don't stand behind their products. It's easy to say: we no longer service that area so you're out of luck! Terrible company! Doesn't deserve a BBB badge.

Spoke to John and he was able to get me a detailed receipt for services done. The guy that came out on February and fixed the leak and other items thank you for your hard work and continued calls to keep me up to date. I will continue to use Aramendia Plumbing and for sure refer all my family and friends. You were on time and efficient with the work as well. Thank you!

I called Aramendia in the afternoon when I had an issue with my plumbing. They were able to send Carlos M. to me within an hour. Carlos and his assistant Dillon were very respectful of my property, extremely friendly, and most importantly they were efficient and knowledgeable about what was going on with our bathroom. They put my mind at ease and were able to assist with our issue quickly.
I am a relatively new homeowner and this was my first time calling a plumber ever, let alone Aramendia, but after this experience I am a lifelong customer for sure. Thank you Carlos for your professionalism!

Called Aramendia on a Sunday with an emergency plumbing problem and I couldn't be more grateful to have dealt with such an honest and professional group. Carl and Sammie were so pleasant on the phone, and Carlos and Dylan fixed the problem immediately. Really appreciate them offering guidance without trying to upsell us. You can tell they take pride in what they do and are considered the best plumbers in the area for a reason. I definitely recommend them! :

We called Aramendia Heating & Air as our pilot was not staying lit. We would be able to light it, it would stay on for a while then off. By the time Aramedia came, the pilot would only stay on if we maintained the lighting-pilot button pressed down. Two technicians came to assess the situation, after being briefed, they indicated the whole piping system coming out of the water heater was not up to par and that was a great point to start trouble shooting.
I was informed a quote with a list of repairs and upgrades to the pipes would be provided. They asked if the water heater - 18 months old - was installed by a licensed contractor. I indicated that it was, and everything was up to city code. As I question the reasonableness of how all the sudden pipes would prevent the pilot not to stay on, they pressed on the pipes and ducts as the likely culprit.
I am no plumber, but I do have common sense. More questioning got me nowhere, they left the home to proceed to prepare their quote outside. When I came out, they said "well, I am not supposed to do this for free, but I will try to light your pilot". Apparently, they hadn't even tried to light the pilot. Getting into the attic with them, and watching him trying to do so, the technician acknowledged that it was probably the Gas Valve Regulator that needed replacement.
Armed with this obvious knowledge, the technician gave me a quote for $695.00, not to replace the pipes and ducts (few!) but to replace the regulator. And by the way, he made a point to say the part may be hard to get and would not commit to an estimate. First, $695.00 is a rip off for an hour and a half or so of labor this job takes, second, I wonder how much they would have charged for a $150 or so part, third, if I had not questioned their stupid "pipes and ducts" diagnosis, would I be stuck with thousands of dollars in pipes and ducts upgrades plus additional $695 labor to install the regulator, plus who know how much for the regulator which was obviously what was wrong in the first place?
I end up calling a licensed plumber, indicated the gas regulator had failed, 3 hours later, he came, installed the part, and charged $360.00 all in. Stay away from Aramendia Heating & Air

I had the pleasure of working with Wade after noticing water dripping from my ceiling overnight. He correctly identified the source of the leak and did excellent work with addressing my plumbing issues. He was beyond fair with the pricing and helped advise me on the next steps to take with the repair process. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and will absolutely be using Aramendia for any future plumbing needs.

FOR PLUMBING I've been having plumbing issues and couldn't find the source of the problems. I called out 2 other plumbers and didn't get anything resolved. I decided to try Aramendia for a third opinion and they were able to troubleshoot and locate the issues. Wade and Jose were very professional and through out in their inspection. I highly recommend Wade if you need to camera to go down your plumping. I will be using Aramendia as my go to plumber from now on!

We had a fantastic experience recently with Crystal as we had routine maintenance done on our heating system. Crystal was so professional and extremely thorough. She went above and beyond and made sure we knew exactly what was done at the end of the process. She also advised on future services that we will definitely be looking into due to her recommendation! Thanks again Crystal we will definitely be calling back to have you come out again for our future needs!

UPDATE: Since writing this review Aramendia has taken the proper steps to rectify my issue. They have replaced my lineset cover and covered the hole left on my eve. I had a new AC system installed which was extremely expensive. When they came to install they left a 6 hole on under the eave of my house where birds and bugs started getting in and the metal line set covering the lines going up my house was put in crooked.
They sent the first guy to come fix it but he didn't have the necessary equipment but assured me they would be calling me to get it taken care of. Nobody ever called. I called them and they sent another guy over who also did not have the proper equipment to fix it. Again I was promised that they would be contacting me to take care of it, but I never received a call so I had to call them again.
When the third guy came out he had the part but it was not painted, raw metal. I didn't want a piece of raw metal going all the way down my house so he promised to get another one out to me asap. Again nobody ever followed up with me. At the time of this review this issue is still unresolved and I have still NEVER received a call from Aramendia. Do not use this company if you expect them to back up their work.

I called Aramendia for a plumbing issue. Within an hour they were driving up to my house. My shower drain was seriously clogged. Our house is old and it was difficult to get far enough down the drain to unclog it. Andrew and Luis had difficulty accessing the clogged pipe through an old drum trap but after much effort they where able to open it. They kept running lines through the pipe until they persevered and cleared the clog.
My wife and I were very impressed. (That was our only working shower at the time.) Andrew and Luis work well as a team. They are dedicated, professional passionate about what they do. The price was fair and they cleaned up after their job. They even told us how to use some biodegradable stuff to keep our pipes clean in the future. They made us feel good when they left.

Amazing service. My husband and I ran into a tub faucet issue and we had to shut our water off to fix it. Needless to say being 8 months pregnant and needing to have water was a necessity! We were waiting around all weekend for another plumber who kept giving us a run around so we called Aramendia and they came within the hour! Carlos was so nice and professional and he had a trainee that was also very professional and nice! I'm so glad they were able to come on a Sunday after 24 hour +of no water. Definitely will recommend and keep their card info close.

My experience was brief but good. I needed a clogged toilet fixed. I called just before 5pm on a Friday and the girl who answered was polite and helpful. She put me on the schedule for the next day, Saturday, and said I'd get a call when they were on the way, likely in the morning. I received a call today with 45 minutes notice. Two plumbers arrived on time, both masked, and provided me with two quotes, a simple auger (snake) fix of $195 and the second, if they had to pull the toilet for $595. Luckily, it was the simple fix and the problem was solved in no time and they treated the toilet with an acid to help it flush better. The price quoted was the price charged. Again, a rather simple and quick interaction but a positive one.

We just had the most amazing technician service us. Friendly, professional and informative. As many times as your company has been out here, no one. NO ONE has ever taken the time to explain, elaborate and assure we understood all the jargon to your profession, pertinent parts and functions of our AC unit, and which areas she serviced and why. You need to have this person train all of your employees on her professional approach and schooling of quality customer service. Thank you for sending her out.

Crystal was the maintenance technician that came out to do the winter service on the heater system. She was on time, pleasant and very professional. She did a thorough job on both the inside and outside unit. After Crystal finished servicing the units she came back to me with a detailed sheet listing what she did and explained in full detail everything on the sheet. Crystal also allowed time for me to ask any questions that I had in which she immediately answered.
She is very knowledgeable and also offered great advise in how to continue to keep the system running efficiently. I will definitely be requesting her to come back to do the spring maintenance on the system. She's a good one.ask for her.you won't be disappointed.

Woke up this morning to no hot water and a stream of water flowing from our water heater out in the garage. Called Aramedia at 7:30 a.m., and by 9:30 a.m. they had a truck at our house. Our technician Marcos identified a broken flange within the tank and recommended a replacement, which they conveniently carried right on the truck. They carefully explained my options and the pricing for each.
Four hours later I have a new, slightly larger and more energy efficient water heater. Service was incredibly fast and the technicians were very courteous. Could I have gone elsewhere for cheaper? Maybe. The icing on the cake is that Marcos also took a look at my water softener within the same cabinet and noticed it was set to regenerate way too often. We've had some briny water issues, and he identified the cause as water pressure at street level that was higher than what SA code allows; the softener was being bypassed into the house due to valve pressure issues.
Without charging us anything extra he replaced the street water intake valve, replaced some valves on the softener, and also placed a water alarm in the cabinet (also free) to identify future water leaks. I've never experienced such amazing and courteous service from a plumber/AC service before. If we need more repairs in the future I know who I'm calling.

Called Aramendia to troubleshoot our water heater. Guys were super responsive. Did arrive late cause they were finishing up another job. But their front office did call and gave me the heads up of them running late though, so can't complain them for that. When they arrived, they were able to troubleshoot fairly quickly and they were very professional and extremely resourceful with questions we had.
They were also very honest about the brand we were using for our water heater tank, which was not a good brand. I validated through online reviews of the brand and saw they were being completely honest. Bradford White is the brand we previously had and broke down 5 years into having it. Which is bad since water heater tanks average life span is 8-12 years.
One nice thing is they were able to offer us a wide variety of financing options that were really appealing. Any thing plumbing or AC-related is expensive, so hearing about their leasing and financing options was really helpful since we had to buy a brand new AC a couple months ago. The job overall took a few hours, but hauling a 40 Gallon tank into an upstairs attic is not an easy job. Overall, Joe and David from Aramendia were really great to work with and helped put me at ease by finding eligible discounts and a way to meet me in the middle financially. They also gave me some tips and pointers water tank maintenance.

I've called Aramendia plumbing several times for emergent plumbing service. They are not the cheapest but I believe the quality of work and service to be better than other plumbers I've used. When you have a water Emergency- it is stressful and you need a fast response. Aramendia has been able to effectively dispatch and repair my issues within 6 hours of call the last 3 times I've called them. I will continue to call them first when an emergency arises. Also, all of their plumbers they have sent out are courteous and professional.

Great experience with this company. The plumber (David) was on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I wasn't expecting them to install on the same day as the quote which was great! It went smooth and they cleaned up. I also got a free AC inspection from the program! Who knows?! Maybe I'll be replacing that too. I also really enjoyed getting a certificate of install. Super professional.

Kristan was very helpful and polite. He came to install a new kitchen tap for us but also helped me figure out a water heating issue and fixed a second tap both free of charge. We have worked with Aramendia 3-4 times now and always great service, premium looking finishes and very polite, helpful staff. Highly recommend

We trust Aramenda with our heating, air conditioning and plumbing issues. Today had the sei annual heating air conditioning maintenance checkup. Crystal provided a very good explanation of what she was doing and what she discovered. Very thorough, felt like I understood how each of my air conditioner units were functioning.

My 74 year old mother called for an A/C unit not keeping up with thermostat setting. After initial inspection, determined that she needed a new replacement unit and set up a payment plan for some term. She trusted them that the unit needed replacement. After much coaxing by her son, called another company to check and get a second opinion, the drain was clogged causing the system to shut down.
This turned out to be a drain cleaning, thermostat battery replacement and pressure check for around $70 vs a payment plan that would go for 117 months adding up to about $20,000.00 for 1 unit replacement. This is just not an ethical group trying over charge a lady who lives off of social security installments only. Call if you like being over charged.

I apparently have a water leak from my main shut off at street and even though they told me at time of scheduling they could at least determine where leak was. when plumber showed up he did very little but confirm i must have a leak but wanted to charge 150.00/hr to dig around on a guess where pipe meets slab connection. They had no way of finding leak other than guess where line was. come to find out the line was determined to be on side of house near where they guessed and i would have wasted time and money.
I hesitated calling them anyway from the way they treated my step son when he applied for job years ago, but from all the "recommendations " on Nextdoor i gave it a shot, never again. They are the typical larger rip off plumbing companies!

Finally this issue has been resolved. Phil contacted us and was very apologetic of the issues we were having with Aramendia. He said that he would get to the bottom of it and make some phone calls to find out why this kept occurring and find out why we would never receive any courtesy phone calls about services being canceled? It didn't take long for him to call us back and set up an appointment with us, for today!
So we got a phone call that tech was on his way. Joe Gomez, the technician that arrived was unbelievable! He went above and beyond with performing maintenance on our A/C unit! We could not be happier with his service. If we could, we would schedule follow up service just with Joe, he was that amazing. I am thankful that we gave Aramendia another chance!

Our AC unit is having trouble keeping up with the Texas heat this year (climbing up to 75-76 when set at 71-72) so we told our landlord. He put the call in and they came out two days later. The guy seemed friendly enough, started to work right away. First looked at the inside unit and stated the coils were clogged. Then proceeded to check the outside unit and said there was a Freon leak. Went over a bunch of pricing, which felt like a sales pitch.
I informed him to call my landlord and go over it. He stepped out, called and decided to refill the Freon Came back in and said what work was done and he was finished and if there were any more problems to call back or call my landlord, I didn't really hear the last part) Well it started off decent, it was set at 71 and the temp was at 71 Within 10 min of him leaving it climbed to 72 ( mind you I did not mess with anything else or touch the thermostat) Then another 10 min and it's at 73 Within the next two hours it climbs all the way up to 80 Now the inside unit makes a loud hissing sound which it never did before and the outside unit also makes an extremely loud buzzing sound which it also never did before.
I went around and checked all the vents and they weren't blowing nearly as cold as before or as strong. I have no idea if this guy was just new or what. Called my landlord and informed him and he seemed pretty upset because I'm sure he shelled out a good amount of money for this. They are supposed to come back out tomorrow so we will see then. But all in all it seems the technician made things worse At least before it only got to 75 but now it got all the way up to 81. Not too happy at all.

Over a year ago, I was TALKED OUT of paying for the water heater that day and going with the Advantage Program where I make payments toward the heater and they will service it every year until it is paid off.nowhere in the conversation did it say it was a lease and my payments would not be going toward the water heater. I had a few things going on at the time: I had lost my dad a few weeks before and I was recovering from a bad cold.
No one has ever serviced the water heater and when I called to pay the remaining balance, I was expecting 14 months of $20.95 ($293.30) to be removed from the balance. It isn't. I now have a balance MORE THAN my water heater was priced because of termination fees to the lease program. I called Aramendia to explain what had happened and the manager (Albert) who was less than helpful and told me that there was absolutely nothing he could do and he doesn't know what I was saying was accurate because he wasn't there. All I wanted to do was pay off the water heater and have them do what was right, but I can't. DO NOT TRUST this company. The customers mean nothing to them.

Will never call this company again! Got a quote for a leaky toilet for $500.00 dollars, if he had to remove the toilet to put a wax ring, will cost me $600 dollars. I'm sorry but this is ridiculous, found a local plumber and only paid $60.00 to get the wax ring replaced. Sorry but will never call you again.

Had a hot water heater not working. Called Aramendia out for a "free estimate with no trip charge" as advertised on their website. The tech showed up took 5 minutes to tell us we needed a new hot water heater. Wanted $2100 for a new hot water heater? We said no he said it's a $195 quote fee. What happened to free as advertised? Said didn't apply to us. Wouldn't leave without cash in hand. Don't call them unless you want a $195 quote or a $2100 water heater.
The next plumber asked for a $65 trip/quote will charge. Get a $429 hot water heater from home depot next door, with a 6-year warranty, and install in 3 hours at $65 an hour.

I have used Aramendia in the past at my current home and previous home. I had a small water leak on my side of the meter so I pumped the water out and found where the leak was. It was from the repair Aramendia did about 5 years ago. I know repairs don't last forever and since I knew where the leak was and all that needed to be done was reseal the connection.
The techs that came out did just as I did and told me they can't find the leak and have to dig up my yard to find it. They wanted to charge me $795 for this. I realized this guy lied to me and I just took the estimate and let him leave. I had another city worker come by and he showed me exactly where the leak was which is the same place I described above. The work Aramendia did for me in the past was excellent, but now I am not so sure about calling them anymore.

Dishonest plumber. I had a water leak that I needed to get taken care of, pouring water out down the street from a busted underground pipe. I called up Aramendia, because I'd heard their advertisements on the radio and they have a catchy jingle. They show up promptly, and make out an estimate for first finding the leak that I thought was quite unreasonable.
They wanted hundreds of dollars an hour to dig around. I sent them home, got out the shovel and started digging to figure out where the water was coming from. A connection had gone bad about a foot underground, and was leaking. Once the leak was found, I called Aramendia back out to make the repair. They wrote out an estimate for soldering a new connection, which I felt was high priced, but necessary.
The plumbers cut out the bad coupling, and attempted to solder in a new one. I watched intently, as the plumber explains that he's really good at soldering, since he used to be a welder. He spends more attention on bragging than soldering. The plumbers then turned on the water, and it still leaked. Although it's tough telling quite where the water was coming from, he looked with a mirror, and determined that it was still leaking, which is bad news.
The plumbers then told me that they'd have to chip away at rock and cement to get to the part that's leaking, and the cost has now nearly doubled from the original quote. I asked them if they were sure it was leaking from elsewhere, and not that they did a poor job of soldering the replacement coupling. Blank stare. I was without water, with a giant hole in the ground, and was being cornered.
I had no choice but to acquiesce to their shakedown. They proceeded to cut out the pipe connection that they had just soldered in, and tossed it aside. I picked up the newly soldered and cut out connection, and plugged up one end of the pipe with my finger, and blew into the pipe. Air leaked from their freshly soldered connection, showing exactly where the problem in their repair was.
If air can leak from their soldered connection, water sure can. They didn't solder the pipe right, and it cost me an extra $300 to have them chip away at rock needlessly and repair it a second time, this time with solderless plastic connections that are inferior to the copper one they were replacing. I showed them their incomplete soldering job on their pipe repair, and got a shrug and an outrageous bill.
I absolutely feel like I got ripped off, and was treated unfairly. I don't feel that it's my responsibility to pay twice the originally stated amount due to the plumber's incompetence. I'm never contacting Aramendia again, and suggest you don't either.

I've had them come to give me a diagnosis and estimate on my AC twice in the past year and every time they say I need to buy a new unit. $10k-$13k. Then I get a second opinion and they tell me that who ever came out disconnected all the wires and made a mess of the connection board. Ultimately the 2nd company is able to replace a few parts and fix the AC. The bottom line is, Armandia is untrustworthy. I think they're liars just trying to sell ACs and not do repair work.
