Anthony came out for an A/C tune up service. He was friendly and thorough. I got the feeling he really understood the system, and he gave me good advice for ongoing maintenance. I'm very unsatisfied with my most recent experience with Mission AC. The inexperienced resources, incomplete work, lack of communication between technician, installation team, & sales, and the failure to make things right with a return customer were disappointing. As others have mentioned on Yelp, look into the negative reviews as well as the positive reviews. There are good alternative options in the area.

I hired Mission when it was discovered that my existing a/c unit had some issues. I had quotes from three companies come in and the guy who does sales for mission did a great job. He really sold the system.even though we'd never heard of the brand before. They were not the cheapest, or the company with the best reputation that we had quote us. But went with them anyway because the guy really instilled confidence in this unit's abilities.
There was some miscommunication on their end about the drainage for the system from my attic. They finally came out and simply poured some rocks in my yard. Very quickly I began getting notices on my thermostat. They came back out and couldn't figure it out. Finally a different person came and discovered the unit was improperly installed. So they had to fix that and bring someone in to help fix the ventilation in my attic.
They told me I needed to have someone come out in the summer months to deal with making sure the ac was cooling properly because it was February at this point. Fast forward to summer and my unit fails in the first truly hot day of the season. They come out, waive the fee for coming out after I expressed dissatisfaction, and informed me that the unit doesn't have a strong enough breaker it pulls from.which is news to me because that feels like something someone should have informed me of upon install.or even the quote.
And he said it'll probably keep tripping. So now I need an electrician out. And when I pressed upon the fact that not only is my upstairs still hotter than heck 24/7, even after insulation galore, and that I have to now run my a/c not at the 70-72 I did on my old system.but at 62 degrees constantly, I was told oh it's probably because you need another return upstairs.
I asked him to have someone call me from their office to discuss the issues with communication and he said he would. That was Saturday. It's end of business Tuesday. Nothing still. If I could have this system uninstalled and get a refund I would. I deeply regret using Mission for multiple reasons.

Jose and Javier were outstanding! Very efficient team and their communication and work ethic is excellent. The attention to detail and dedication to ensure the job was completed in a Houston summer does not go unnoticed. Above and beyond service and explanations. They also confirmed that my previous AC companies did not fully address issues that Jose found and Javier and his crew fixed and remediated with such a quick turn around. I got a referral from a friend and I am so pleased to have a maintenance package with Mission AC. Well deserved recommendations!

Been using this company primarily for Air Conditioning related stuff with a bit of plumbing with no complaints. Very professional, on time, reasonably priced, and has been able to resolve every issue I've had. I think there's even been a time or few when there was no issue and I simply wasn't familiar with a new homes system and they fixed it for free.

I had this company come out to inspect all 7 of my a/c units. They sent me a written report on the inspection that was totally useless. I emailed them, and after I didn't receive a reply within about a week, I called them. It has now been 3-4 days since my call and I've still not heard a word. I paid good money for nothing.

Great after hours response and affordable fee. We needed our A/C inspected on a holiday, Mission responded immediately and had an on-call technician out to us same-day. Even though our system repairs could not begin the same day (due to an extensive leak) the technician was great in pointing out next steps and providing us an estimate. Great experience over all!

Josh and Joe did an amazing job. Didn't have a problem asking another co-worker for assistance. They were able to solve the issue behind the low water pressure in one specific area of my house. They were also very conversational and explained the job and cost fully. Would definitely recommend. Service: Faucet repair

Josh, the plumber that performed the service, was absolutely wonderful. Very pleasant and experienced and resolved the problem professionally and without incident. However, the price that Mission Plumbing charged was completely outrageous and ridiculous.! They wanted to charge me almost $400.00! Totally ridiculous to unclog a kitchen drain. We loved Josh but will never use this company again because of their prices! Again, the plumber Josh was amazing but I do not approve of this company's charges.

This might be the company to call for routine maintenance, but if you need a repair, my suggestion is to call someone else. Their ability to diagnose a problem, responsiveness, and effectively communicate deserves ZERO stars. I called because the vent supplying my kitchen/dining area had no air flow, causing my downstairs to be significantly colder than upstairs.
When the tech came, he said he would need to cut the sheetrock in order to visualize the duct. The charge was $225 for that. I agreed and paid. The first cut attempt in the kitchen was unsuccessful so he made another cut in the bedroom closet (see pics). After running a camera and taking pics in the duct, his assessment was that the low flow was due to the duct being clogged with insulation (which is actually listed as ROOT CAUSE in the estimate).
In addition to needing this repair, I was also interested in getting a quote to replace the ac and furnace because I had recently purchased this home KNOWING that it had an aged system. For this, a different tech came to assess and gave me a quote for 12k to replace. He even mentioned that I was "good for the time being. Your unit is still working." On the day of the repair, I was there to meet the tech, let him in, then left for work.
I received a call from him later that afternoon saying that the repair was complete and air flow was restored.only for me to come home later that evening to a cold downstairs. There was absolutely no difference in the amount of air flow to that particular vent. I called to let them know and they offered to send a "more experienced" tech to troubleshoot.
When that tech came, all I got was "it could be this, or it could be that, .he also mentioned something about a damper, " and was told the service manager would contact me with an estimate. I had to call several days later to find out when I might expect the estimate. When I received it, it was an estimate to REPLACE the entire system. When I was finally able to speak to the service manager, he said "my guys told you the unit needed to be replaced." My response."Uh no.they did not.
They told me the problem was the duct being clogged (see invoice again). I'm actually the one that inquired about the cost to replace." In the meantime, I received an invoice for $525.the cost to remove the insulation from the duct, i.e. "repair" the air flow. These back and forth service calls began on January 4th. Over a month later, I'm out $750, and the only difference I notice is the 2 gaping holes in my sheetrock!
My lesson learned: Read the lowest Google ratings too. As you will see in this case, there are several recent 1-star ratings with very similar experiences as mine. Poor response, high fees, lack of communication, etc.

I called Mission since I have an annual contract with them that started with the furnace checking on November 23, 2021. One of my furnaces stopped working. The positive: 1) Was able to book an appointment for the next day. 2) The technician Dejuan was a knowledgeable and pleasant guy The negative: 1) They changed the capacitor for the heater. It has a retail value around $15-$20 on line.
I was charged $385 for the job (technician may have spent 90 min at my house). According to Dejuan, that included the 10% discount for member plus an additional discount given by his manager. This is simply too expensive 2) and the following is a question I have: could this failure have been prevented or identified in the maintenance visit on November 23rd, 2021?

We just met two of the most professional, efficient and pleasant employees who were sent for the repair of our heating system. Joe and Dejuan were exceptional. Thank you Mission Air Conditioning for getting our family's furnace and A/C back to work so quickly! We really appreciate it. Had an excellent experience with your technician, Oscar, today. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem right away, had an estimate ready shortly after and repaired our system just as quickly. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
He also offered quotes for further maintenance so we could continue to enjoy our ac and heating throughout the year. I definitely recommend Mission and their excellent technicians.

We've used Mission AC multiple times now, and they've always been prompt, dedicated, and honest. A few times they've sent out the technician Joe (sorry I don't have last name) and he's done a great job and explains everything with photos of the parts and how the system works. I previously gave Mission a five-star review. Not this time. I referred my daughter to Mission for an A/C installation and have been very disappointed. Not only was the problem not solved, the representatives have been rude. They now want more money to fix the problem they were hired to fix in the first place.

We had a third floor AC issue which no one could seem to solve. We tried working around our current unit with moving ducts, baffles, etc. but the room was either warm or the duct work dripping with condensation, enough to soak the sheetrock. We finally called Sara and David Lewis the owners of Mission and they sent our an wonderful tech who took the time to produce a real solution.
The solution was to add a mini-unit to serve the third floor (only 350 sq ft room). It took them less than 6 hours to install, our home remained spotless and the best part. IT WORKS! The room is cool and dry with its's own unit and thermostat. Did I say the house remained spotless? I was amazed, not mess left behind anywhere.

The Mission AC and plumbing team are amazing! I called to schedule AC repair, and they were able to schedule and render the services within hours. The technician, Juan Barron was professional and well knowledgeable. He explained the issue of the AC unit and went in depth to explain what caused the issue. They are pros at what they do, and it shows. FYI they also have a club member program which in my opinion is a must to enroll.
This includes year round maintenance and additional maintenance services depending on which program you enroll. Mission AC and plumbing team thank you for your services! COVID-19 precautions displayed and observed : The technician wore a mask at all times and in addition wore the correct PPE while entering and exiting the home. Definitely a plus!

Had an outside pipe break during the winter storm of 2021. Despite knowing how busy Mission Air would be due to the massive amount of burst pipes around Houston, I called to get in their queue. To my delight, they were able to fit us in for an appointment the next day. Townes and Christian came out and did an outstanding job for us, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Thank you!

I recommend Mission for any related repairs in Houston. They were responsive, prompt and diligent. Casey, in particular, was excellent. He and a partner wore masks the entire time. They completed the job before lunch time. He also arranged a necessary follow-up repair with another contractor. The downside: very expensive.

Mission's team was very professional and did a great job. I had to have an old cheap water heater replaced and they gave me tons of options and price points. I never felt pressured to buy unnecessary equipment or services. Work was fast and well done. They even hauled off the old water heater. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased two new A/C Units from them and am on their bi-annual maintenance program. A/C Units have been great and more importantly, their post customer service has been great as well. Their techs (we normally see Joel) are polite and respectful of our home. Joel always asked us if we have any other problems or questions before leaving.

Had a good experience with Mission; they had sent Casey Meyer out to complete the job. Everything went smoothly, job was done well in a timely manner (had a pipe leak behind the shower to repair; was a pretty tight spot). Appreciated he wore the foot coverings (the centerpoint guy didnt; left a healthy trail of dirt.) So appreciate that detail. Mission was able to give me an estimate; I provided pretty good pictures showing the scope, so that was a big plus.
I think I tried 3 other companies beforehand; they refused to give an estimate - so, its hard not to interpret that as a chance to get in there and upsell. And, there was no carrot for a review; as is becoming the case with half the crap you buy on amazon now. Just a polite request to leave a review if I was satisfied.

I used Mission AC to diagnose and repair a system in a home I remodeled, and I was very satisfied with their customer service, and their standards and procedures. The quotes and invoices were very thorough which was helpful for buyer of the home. And Louis was very professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend.

Man! This place is super expensive. Gat Dang! To do the snake unclog technique for my bathtub it was $325.00. Troy the plumber was very nice and all, but $ 325 for a 15 minute job is ridiculous. I should have definitely shopped around. He did wear a mask, gloves and foot covers when coming into my home. But this service was way too expensive.

Absolute worse customer service. They do NOT want your business unless it fits in their schedule and then they make up excuses. They scheduled my appointment and 5 mins later they called back and said their master plumber was not honoring appts based on the coupons they have posted online. So I just requested them to just come out anyway to diagnose the problem.
Their agent literally told us find someone else to do it. UPDATE: We received a call back from the scheduler who made the appointment then cancelled.she told us she is about to be fired and shouldnt have lied to us and said we are on the "do not service" list. Unbelievable! Does such a list actually exist? Back story is we have used Mission once before and the 1st time the tech tried to swindle us from a $90 job into an over $1000 job.we said no way!
Not only did the tech not fix the issue he made it worse. A "Master tech" called us, sent another tech out, and low and behold the vanity drain just needed a heavy duty snake to get through the clog. Long story short after pulling some teeth they did job. Since then we moved and ran into a similar problem and decided to give mission a second chance.big mistake!
Aside from the stress of the plumbing issue we had to deal with this company who has zero ethical values and is not in business to serve the community but they are crooks who try to make a your plumbing problem worse only for you to pay more for a repair. So by all means Mission plumbing keep me on your "Do not service" list. It's sad you would fire a girl for scheduling appts for you and then making her lie to customers.shame on you!

I don't know if she is being sarcastic with us but it's terrible how this company treats its customers.and employees. I've never experienced a situation like this but there will be a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau.
