We had to replace the main water values to our entire condominium complex. This meant that we had to shut the water for the entire complex down. They got the work done in a reasonable amount of time and were very easy to work with. They were responsive and made sure that the job was done well. Turning off the water caused a blockage for 4 units and they completed a temp. fix fast and found a good work around to save us thousands of dollars in major repairs. Scope of Work - 2 Tasks: (1) Install a double 4" Comby on the main sewer line, and (2) Scope and Jet from #1 88" to the City Main. Results for #1: Clean improvised installation on time and Budget. For Task #2, the line condition looked like a 72 yr. old cast iron system, but not in bad shape. After 3 "passes" the length of the line (88'), there appeared a number of "choke Points" i.e. narrowing of the 4" pipe diameter.

My concern was that the psi had been ramped up and possibly over heated & congealed some of the debris & sludge which possibly accounted for the difficulty pulling out the hose and cutter. Conclusion: At my request they returned 2 weeks later, re-scoped the entire line, and found the debris sludge piles previously in the line cleaned itself out with the normal sewer flow in the elapsed weeks. I have been using Mauerhan for over 20 years. BUT, to make a long story short as to why I recommend this company. One Thanksgiving day the hot water tanks (3) went out and there was NO hot water to the whole apartment complex. I called in for a service call and it went to the answering service because it was a Holiday. Next the owner Bruce called me and asked what the problem was.then he left his Thanksgiving dinner table, departing from his family and came out personally to fix our hot water system so we could all have hot water. You don't find that type of customer satisfaction anywhere.

I had a large project--re-piping the entire (not small) house. I was particularly impressed with the planning that went into minimizing the mess and the cuts into walls.
