Cliff has done work on my previous and currently owned RV's and I can't speak highly enough about his capability, honesty and thoroughness! Also, my converter failed on the first day of spring break 2022, I called Cliff for advice and he helped identify the problem so I could fix it. I highly recommend Carey's RV Service Center!

Cliff Carey can be trusted to repair and maintain your RV. Don't be deterred by the fact that he works from his home. He is a first class professional and dead level honest. We had a number of issues that needed attention on our trailer, all of which he took care of, plus his experienced eye found others problems which no doubt saved us headaches on down the road.
He did it all for a very fair price in the time he promised. If you're tired of your unit sitting at a fancier facility for weeks on end, and even then not getting the proper attention, I recommend giving him a call. Terry Burge

A friend turned me on to Carey's RV, my wife and I are so glad they did. Mr. Carey is straight forward, honest man and isn't going to try to sell you on service your RV doesn't need. His hourly fee is fair, not outrageous like the big RV centers around town. He truly values his customers. On several occasions we have been out of town and called him for help. He's always been helpful.

We took our airstream to Carey RV at the recommendation of friends. He plumbed it and ran all the electrical for the trailer, and did an excellent job! He went above and beyond in his explanations of how everything works, what we need to do and what to expect. His service was timely and very reasonably priced. I will definitely use Cliff Carey for all the trailer repairs and service.

In summer 2016, the A/C on our 2008 motorhome began tripping the breaker and/or causing the generator to shut down. [Online blogs pointed to a bad capacitor which would have required climbing on the roof of the coach to locate and replace the part.] We took the motorhome to a major RV service center in the Houston area to be diagnosed. Based on a 45-point inspection, their technician recommended replacing the entire A/C system at a cost of $1,870.26, which was to be covered by an extended warranty that we had just purchased from them.
Something did not seem right. Soon after, the Xantrex battery charger failed. Then we also discovered that the technician had added an additional quart of oil to the house diesel generator which only holds three-quarters of a quart, causing the oil level to be overfilled by double. It was at this point that we called the owner of the storage location where we had garaged our motorhome since 2008.
He referred us to Cliff at Carey's RV Service Center. When Cliff explained that the work could not be covered by the extended warranty that we had purchased from the RV service center, we understood and agreed. He performed his 100-point check inspection and preventive maintenance which he explained thoroughly afterwards and documented in his service report in 2016.
He had determined that the only problem with the A/C was the capacitor which he replaced at a cost of less than $100 for the part and labor. The A/C system has worked like new since then. Cliff replaced the fried Xantrex battery charger and changed the oil in the diesel generator among other things. He saved us thousands of dollars since we ultimately cancelled the extended warranty and received a refund.
Some of the other work performed by Carey's RV Service Center includes: - installing a solar system with two panels to maintain the charge in our batteries for both the house and chassis - installing a battery separator relay to improve the charging between the house and chassis batteries - changing our refrigerator from a two-way to a three-way (AC/propane/DC) model - diagnosing a chronic but intermittent leak by tracing it to the loose connection on the DC water pump and connecting it properly - remounting the entire upper cabinetry above the dinette after it fell off the wall during a drive - mounting a Venturi to redirect exhaust fumes from the generator - installing new flooring - mounting a shore power monitor (voltage, amperage, frequency, error codes) by managing to pull wire from outside to inside - installing WeBoost cellular signal booster and mounting the external antenna - replacing dozens of external position lights with LED bulbs which required climbing on the roof as well as resealing each fixture afterwards - detailing the entire coach as a surprise drive away gift before we left Houston Much of the above work followed the 100-point check inspection in 2017.
Since then, we have had our coach out-of-state but plan to make the 2,000 mile trip for another inspection in 2019. Houston does not have many days with mild weather. Cliff routinely works in 95°F+ temperatures to finish a rig on time. Likewise, he detailed our coach in January 2018 in frigid weather. Cliff has never balked at our typed single-spaced wish lists of things to check or adjust or fix or mount. We have learned a great deal during the process and have come to value our relationship with Cliff and Mary Ann on many levels.

Cliff has been taking care of our RV's since 2005. His knowledge is well known in the RV industry. Other shops turn business over to Cliff when they cannot fix it. He has also assisted Mr. Tiffin (Tiffin RV's) personally. Cliff cares so much about his customers that he even sends out emails advising of hard freezes, and advises what you should do.
I cannot tell you how many times I have called Cliff from another state from the side of the road broken down. He has diagnosed and helped fix my problems. And when I could not fix, he even found me a repair shop and talked to them for me. Cliff and MaryAnn have become personal friends with most of their customers. We are proud to be both loyal customers and friends.

We took our RV to Mr. Carey at the recommendation of a friend and was very pleased with his care of our rig. Mr. Carey repaired our AC for a fraction of what others had quoted me - and it works GREAT! Plus, he found an electrical short that was causing all kinds of problems that we didn't even know about! Thanks for the excellent service Mr. Carey!

Cliff Carey has another very satisfied customer. I brought in our (new to us) 2006 Monaco Coach and he was able to troubleshoot and repair it in a matter of a few days. He also performed an inspection on the coach during this time. Cliff is very honest and straightforward. He kept me posted on the repair and the cost. He is a man of his word. Thank you Cliff. You have another lifetime customer. Chris Oldham

I have been using Carey's RV Service Center for nearly 5 years. I take my coach there every year for it's annual inspection. This has been an invaluable service as my coach is a 2005 model and with all aging items, things wear out. Cliff has done a tremendous job at keeping my aging coach in tip top shape. He has been extremely helpful when some goes wrong in the field.
I am able to call him, explain what is going on and he can pin point what the issue is and tell me how to fix it. I have referred several others to him over the years and all of them have had nothing but great service.
