Rarely are things as positive as the dealings I have had with Dan from Meares. I had him out to do the upgrade on my hot water heater and ended up having him stub out the plumbing for my renovation and installed the water purifier I have been wanted. I found their price fair and the employees top notch. I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs

Wonderful service this past Wednesday. The technician was informative with me, walked through everything he was doing and provided good guidance for maintenance by me and future by the company. For a reasonable amount I signed up for future service with them. I would not have done so if not for the good information and visit of Johnny this day. Feel good if you ask them by. Was there for a clog, water softener checkup and toilet repair.

Spring Hill, , Florida. We had a leaking bathtub faucet that he replaced. The faucet doesn't leak but the repair is very amateur using caulk to fill spaces between the faucet plate and the tile. Shabby looking. He changed it from a two handle faucet to a single handle faucet which was a poor decision. Excessive caulk around spout and back plate.

We used Meares to set up a freestanding Ice Vending machine; we are so happy with the professionalism and work. Dan, our technician, has many years of experience and knew exactly how to get the job economically done. Dan's knowledge of how to execute the job far exceeded our expectations; the layout of the pipes and getting water from the source to the drainage was perfect. We got exactly what we needed and a few extra special touches which we appreciate. We definitely will be using Meares for our of Ice Vending machines installs!

Mears plumbing actually was supposed to come on Monday next week. They had a cancellation. They came today. They were amazing. Kyle did them absolute tremendous job. Very professional. Very meticulous in his approach to the job. And because of that I actually had them do another job that was needed to be done in my home. Replace the garbage disposal.

For the price that they quoted me. Me they couldn't be beat. Plus Kyle was a joy to work with as far as getting the job done. Very personable, and professional. Professional. Would recommend them to anyone that needs a plumbing job done.

Both Kevin and Bob did an excellent job. They took care of my water heater, changed some pipes, installed a new kitchen faucet, checked my outdoor water purification system, and will be fixing my reverse osmosis system on my sink. We got a Gas water heater installed. Nathan arrived on time, and was patient in explaining everything that was going on. The job took couple of days to install the pipes and the water heater. We installed the Navien NPE-240 water heater. Service: Water heater installation

Critical: Professionalism Spent $500 on clog to sewer. Technician was great however 24 hrs later, clogged again. They did not stand behind their work even though receipt says "90 day no clog guarantee". Spoke to supervisor and he offered nothing. Very disappointed. Will be contacting BBB. Our water heater broke on Christmas Eve and the good folks at Meares plumbing got me scheduled first thing Monday morning. They called to alert me that they were coming, took a quick assessment of the job, gave us a quote and everything was done that day. Malik and Dan were professional, organized and knowledgeable. Thall the people at Meares have been very helpful, informative, professional and pleasant to work with. They installed my hot water heater as well as rough installation of bathroom plumbing. I asked for estimates for various jobs and they have always given me several options. James is awesome and has given me useful advice and spent a lot of time explaining how their systems work. I will no doubt use then again for future projects.

William was extremely professional, kind, patient, and understanding. Easy to communicate with and clear with his plans for a solution. Water issues are stressful and complicated enough. Let alone a stranger into your home. However, William presents himself with a friendly presence and provided us a smooth and hassle free experience. Which is exceptional considering the amount of hard work and labor he was required to perform to solve our issue. Michael Maxam is an employee here at this company. Apparently his account got hacked and messages got leaked and it seems he suffers from a needle addiction clearly & that really is a bad look on the company. I. wouldn't trust him in my home - I'd be worried he would plot to come back & rob me. Definitely should consider drug screens especially since these men ride around in company vehicles.

By far the most incompetent plumbers around, they do the work for Taylor Morrison home building company. We had a water softener loop installed and they didn't secure the line so the water leaked into the walls, pictures to prove. The kitchen garbage compactor is leaking, every plumbing fixture in my house needs to be fixed/Adjusted. The faucets in the 2 tubs are not secured, held with caulking.

Every single sink faucet is crooked and the handles are not aligned. The knob for the water in the island is right under the spicket, so when you turn it on your hand gets soaked. Toilet bowls aren't straight, who wants to face a wall when they sit on a toilet. If you want quality work look elsewhere.

Jessica is awesome to deal with along with everyone else wouldn't use anyone else thanks to excellent customer service!

Dan Gould is a problem solver par excellence! He had to fight to get this claw foot tub into place, as the spot was tight - as initially expected. He also had to redo work done previously by another person from this same company, and was professional, neat, arrived early, and swept up area for his return. I will always request Dan for my work in the future.

Meares managed all the plumbing when we built our house. We had such a great experience with them then that they are always our go to plumber when we have issues. We had an urgent situation and they were there within hours with fabulous service, always going above and beyond! Austin was amazing! Spent as much time as needed to explain everything and fixed everything we needed. Highly recommend Meares and Austin!

Couldn't use Meares Plumbing. I needed two faucets changed and when I called for a quote (I would settle for a reasonable estimation) they said I needed to pay a $69 service charge for a technician to come out and give me a quote. So basically they could quote a totally insane price and you get to pay for the pleasure. They must have plenty of business.

We have had problems with hot water heaters since Meares installed it for builder in our new home last year. We had to have Meares come out last fall, water was not as hot as supposed to be at faucet. Took 2 techs coming out (finally sent a supervisor) to find out that one of the elements were burned out. Supervisor also seen they had installed it wrong (water inlet and water line to house was backwards). Meares had also failed to install hose bibb missing vacuum breaker per county code. Supervisor switched 2 line and installed missing piece. A year later, same issues with hot water heater, will not warranty their work or screw ups. Wants to charge me $70 for call plus labor for something still under warranty.

We used Meares during our bathroom renovation. The guys that came out were very knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate. They showed up when scheduled, were prepared, and cleaned up after the work was done. Renovations are especially stressful but the Meares team put my mind at ease. I would recommend them for any job, big or small.

I called Meares because they did a lot of work in our community. My problem was a tight shower valve that needed the cartridge replaced. It took the plumber about 30 minutes and they charged $321. My mistake for not asking the cost before he went to work. Never again! That is just a plan ridiculous amount for what had to be done. Beware!

The only reason for 2 stars is that the repair man was very nice and professional and did a good job. My problem is with the way a job is priced. Other companies I have dealt with charge a service fee but it is then applied to the repair. This company charges a service fee and then a repair fee at a set rate no matter what you have done or how long it takes.

He replaced an $8.00 part and tightened 3 connections and my total bill was $140. It took him less than 10 minutes including the time it took to go back to his truck and get the part. If I wasn't 70 years old I could have managed myself. I won't be calling this company again.

I came home from a business trip only to learn our hot water heater had bit the dust. My husband researched switching to tankless, and Meares was one of the TECO recommended partners. He was able to schedule for the very next day and even bump up our time that same day. The gentlemen they sent to our residence were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient as they saw the job through and answered all of our questions. They will definitely be at the top of my list for future plumbing needs - lets just hope there won't be any hot water heater purchases for another several years!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS. They installed a tankless water heater that they don't understand. Two issues in only a month and doesn't work with my washing machine because it is "too new" - no hot water for laundry. They didn't know that the Navien unit ordered wouldn't work with new energy/water efficient laundry machines. Called me "very rude". I'm pissed off, wouldn't you be if you spent over $1600 for a unit that isnt compatible with your washing machine? Somehow, I was supposed to know this?!? I was very careful to ask a lot of questions before purchasing but I relied on them to educate me.that was my mistake for thinking they were "the experts".

Kevin and Justin recently came out to install the Enviro water filtration system that I wanted in my home and did an excellent job! They were very professional, polite and considerate of my property. For space saving reasons, I wanted the unit in a specific spot and not only did they make it work, but it was apparent that they strive for perfection during install.

I have been a Diamond Member at Meares since the first time Kevin came to resolve a plumbing issue over a year ago. I appreciate their honesty, and the fact that I can rely on getting the plumber I started with who knows the work done so far. Keep up the good work!

I chose meres plumbing based on reviews that were positive. I was charged close to $200 for a flapper and fill valve on my toilet. Because I was out of state I was forced to pay it, Because I physically couldn't go to my residence and fix it myself. So be aware you will be charged a service fee of $65 just for them to come out and $95 an hour for labor which is by far the highest in the state. Would not recommend this company to anyone nor would I ever use them again.

On January 29th, Meares replaced my old traditional water heater with a hybrid electric water heater quickly and without any issues. It works great and I was very pleased with the service I received. The staff all seemed friendly and knowledgeable. No hidden costs, either, which I liked. I'd definitely recommend them to others. In contrast, I had originally requested a quote from one of their competitors (R.J. Kielty) for a hybrid / heat-pump water heater.

The person they sent knew anything about this style of water heater, which wasted my time and left me frustrated. I then contacted the general manager for that location via email, to let him know about my experience. I never heard back. If you're on Yelp looking through the reviews because you are having trouble deciding, just go with Meares. You won't be disappointed.

I have used Meares for years both for residential and commercial needs in South Tampa. I have used them for pre-construction services as well as repair and maintenance needs and they have always exceeded my expectations. They arrive on time, well dressed, and are respectful of my property and my family. I highly recommend them for any plumbing job in Tampa Bay big or small.

I live in New Port Richey and have been using this plumbing company for many years now. I wouldn't think of letting anyone else in my house.
