We discovered at 2:00 am that the furnace was blowing cold air. We called Battavio and logged a non-emergency call with the answering service. Technician arrived later that morning, diagnosed the problem as a bad controller board and overrode it to turn the furnace on. He came back with a new board and the furnace was back online before noon. Awesome service, competent, professional. I recommend without hesitation.

Had a water leak from my bathroom into my downstairs bathroom. It was easy to schedule to have someone come look at the issue. Tim came in and figured out the issue. He was honest and professional. Looking forward to getting the parts and getting it fixed in January. They are responsive and priced fairly. I recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest family owned business.

First, the plumber who came to the house was professional and fixed the issue. I called this morning and the young lady who answered the phone was also professional and did a great job. My issue is with the fee charged relative to the service performed. As you know, there was a $60 Diagnostic charge and a $75 Trip Charge. On top of that, there were additional charges of ~ $150 for the fill valve and flush disk.
These parts retail for ~ $25.00. To receive a bill for ~$275 for the work performed is unacceptable. The technician was at my home for no more than 10 minutes. I don't mind paying for his time and expertise, but $275 for a small job, less than 10 minutes to complete, is hard to understand.

Very unethical business practice to send a bill three months after the visit and for something that we were not aware of being a billable event. Asked for an estimate to replace a water heater. After a month of calling because all places are short staffed, they insisted that someone has to come out to look at it. They did, agreed with me that the water heater needs to be replaced and provided a quote that was more than management wanted to pay.
Three months later they send an invoice for $135 to have someone come out and provide the estimate. I was not informed that there is a fee for an estimate and the person spent 5 minutes in the building.

Just want to thank Joe for coming to our rescue Saturday morning after horrific leak from bad water line with new fridge hook up. I used Battavio for installation of a public water line. First off, after calling numerous plumbers, Battavio was the only plumber to get back to me with an estimate. I have used Battavio for years at multiple houses. In recent weeks they helped me get caught up on some deferred maintenance and also an emergency repair. The work was all completed in a really excellent manner (I'm really picky). The areas the techs worked looked just as good as they did before they arrived. And the prices have always been fair. Moved away from another plumber / hvac service to Battavio. They've been consistently on time and thorough so far. They've been out five or so times for different things. Handle with stem of shower control valve broke broke off during a shower on a Saturday morning. After turning off the water to the running shower, the business' answering service contacted Joe Battavio who called back from his home immediately. He was able to come out later the same day to replace the broken valve. Very responsive - quality work. We have used him before and will continue patronize his for our repair and upgrade needs.

I was able to schedule promptly with ease and the team arrived on time and were very professional. After a close inspection of my system i received a detailed explanation and given a few options. I decided to have the entire heating unit replaced.
The work was done efficiently and the attentiveness to my concerns/questions was met with a smile and patience. I highly recommend this company. The customer service is amazing. I can't say enough good things about Battavio Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. They are very knowledgeable, and that has saved me and my clients money (and my heater works much better!). They are very honest, and don't recommend unnecessary work. They're friendly, on-time, offer emergency service (and show up within half an hour), and are fairly priced. My 33 year old heater needed to be replaced at the end of December. The Battavio estimator was very responsive and was able to give me a quote quickly. From there, they were very helpful in scheduling the job as soon as possible. The installers were neat, knowledgeable, and worked hard to get the job completed in one day. This was the first time I had contracted with Battavio, and I plan on using them in the future. I recommend them highly.
