I had an AC issue for 2 years that none of 4 different contractors could figure out. I called Redding and I couldn't be happier with the service. Mike came out, evaluated my situation fully, gave me some advice on maintenance, and he got to the bottom of the problem WITHOUT recommending a system replace. Two other contractors recommended that to me. Redding will be the only AC company I call going forward.

Today Mike arrived on time to fix my AC and was meticulous in his evaluation of the system before moving forward with a costly test. In the process he was able to find and fix a rather subtle and not easy to see problem without doing the test, which was a significant cost savings to me. Thanks Mike! I recently switched from oil to gas and Redding's completed the extensive job as promised. Don arranged the details and John managed everything professionally. A few weeks later (today) I needed a service call and Mike came and fixed the minor difficulty without charge and explained everything perfectly. I am writing this as his truck sails away, before I forget how grateful I am for his work.

They came out to fix a whole house backup. Got there within 2 hours of my phone call. Went above and beyond to figure out the location of the clogged pipe and fixed it on the spot. Kept me informed during the process and showed me where in the septic field it could be prevented. Would definitely use them again!

Critical: Professionalism I called with an issue with my AC. While trying to explain the problem to the receptionist (Bree?), she was rude and unknowledgeable. I'm never calling back.

Josh came to replace water heater. He and his assistant did an excellent job and answered all my questions regarding maintenance and use. He fixed my hose bibs that leaked for years. I liked they took the extra effort to cover my floors from damage.

Redding replaced our oil furnace with a new gas furnace. They also replaced our electric hot water with a gas one and installed a new AC unit. All of their employees were professional, respectful of our home and very nice. The work was done quickly and efficiently and we'll continue to use Redding for our regular service needs. Highly recommend them!

We utilized Redding last Thursday to replace our Hot Water Heater. Scheduling the appointment was easy as we were provided with a fair quote. The Tech was on time within the window we were provided. The job was completed within the time frame we were told. We were provided with an explanation of what was done. The crew also cleaned up after the job was complete. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to anyone in the Princeton/Mercer area who require any plumbing, heating and air conditioning services.

Their techs came out to fix our sewer line and did a very good job. They were very knowledgeable and explained to us very well what is going on.

I have used Reddings for years. Started using their plumbing services, new sink, install a toilet. Then moved my annual maintenance for both my AC and Boiler to them about 10 years ago. They have been awesome, the technicians are very prompt, respectful and helpful. Answer all my questions and have gone above and beyond on many occasions.

The service person was timely to the appointment. He wore a mask and maintained social distancing. He completed the appointment. Answered all questions. Even completed a review and noted about a problem with one of the vents in the basement. This was not part of the appointment but delighted he responded.

They always arrive within a few minutes of the scheduled appointment, they are efficient, and most importantly we have had no problems with our heating or airconditioning under their maintenance plan.

Today my 12 year old water heater started leaking from the top (!) at 2 pm. We turned off the water valve to the heater and started mopping up the floor and called Redding's. I told them I couldn't deal with it until 4:30 because of my work schedule. At 4:35 Mike showed up, assessed things, explained things, identified replacement possibilities, . and notified Steve in the office who committed to getting in touch first thing tomorrow and rectifying things ASAP.

A year ago on Aug. 7 in the high heat of summer, a big pin oak fell on my roof, air conditioner and generator, destroying all three and cutting out our electric lines during a high wind lightening storm. As soon as the tree trunk and big branches blocking the road were cleared away, --2 hours, --a rep was there figuring out how fast he could get the generator and AC replaced, which included working with the insurance company, all fixed in record time, in just a few days.

The AC technician came the day after we called. He wore a mask, gloves, and booties, and fixed the damage wires on our unit within an hour. He also plugged up some holes to make it more difficult for rodents to get back in. He was friendly and efficient.
