The big piece of plumbing that touches the outside of your home is your hose spigots. You will want to remove all the hoses (and try to drain any water out of them as well.) There should be a shutoff valve for each spigot in your basement, and you will want to shut those. Then open the spigot outside to let any water drain out.

Gary was selected by our contractor to work on a full bathroom remodel. His bill was much larger than expected. I did not track his time, and I do not believe he did either. He was at the house several days, but his bill did not show the arrive and depart time or days worked. I requested this information by text and e-mail multiple times and he did not respond to me--he called our contractor to ask why I was questioning the bill.
Very unprofessional. We did not have him come back to do the finish plumbing due to not trusting his billing. There was one issue (hot and cold were reversed in the shower) which he did fix right away in a professional manner. The two valves for the shower controls he roughed in are not quite aligned vertically, and it will bother me as long as we live in the house.
