I used the convenient online service request form late on a Sunday and received a call back at 7 o'clock the next morning. The repair man (Mike) showed up right at 8 o'clock and within 30 minutes he had diagnosed the problem with the furnace, reset the controls and performed the annual tuneup which was coming due. As always Ladd's is the best; very responsive and very professional. And Mike knows his stuff.

The gentlemen who came showed up on time. They were very thorough and made sure everything worked correctly. When they were done it was as if they were never here, everything was so clean and tidy! I have used Ladd in the past for repairs on an old home and when I found myself in a bathroom remodel needing plumbing work done in a 120+ year old home, I didn't trust any plumber, I called Ladd back to work on my home. Joe came out and worked all day. I work from home. Joe knowing this, had himself shut in a tiny attic bathroom to reduce the noise as much as possible while I worked. Incredibly thoughtful.

I didn't get the sink set for him as promised, so he measured an antique piece + top mounted sink for custom measurements on the faucet placement, ran new lines, vented the bathroom through the roof, set a shower basin, and ripped down plywood to fill back in the flooring I took up for him to access to plumbing lines. I was astounded and pleased not at only the amount of work done, but the quality. Not many can work in 120+ year old homes, Ladd can. See you all next year for another project. Best company I have ever used. Christene was extremely professional, very helpful and assisted me in making both my AC unit repair and plumbing appointment. We've used Ladd Service a couple of times now for issues with our furnace and AC, they're been extremely responsive and professional. Our heat even went out on Christmas Morning this year, called their number and someone was out to service it within an hour and a half to our surprise. We felt horrible about the timing, of course, but the service technician was very pleasant and efficient, and we were all soon on to our Christmas morning activities (with heat!).

We used Ladd's to replace our 17 year old furnace. They gave us a quote on a new American Standard high efficient furnace that was reasonable and in comparison to other companies affordable. We also had them install a humidifier on the new system. We are highly pleased with the installation, performance, and overall value this has added to our home. Would recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new system!

My elderly Aunt called this Co with an emergency. It was 98 degrees outside and the air conditioner wasn't working at all. They came out worked for a couple of hours, charged her over $700 and left her in the heat still. They made it seem as if it was working when they left. It was blowing at this point but just hot air. We called another company out Immediately due to my aunt's health.

We found out they never added Freon to her system! Seriously over $700 and hours later no cold air. A local handyman came out within the hour and had it going for less than $100. That's just wrong to do to someone. At least let the person know it's not working properly so they can go to a family members or something. My entire family is upset with this Company and we will all share our experience on Social Media.

We started working with Ladd when we moved to Kansas City 17 years ago, and they have never disappointed! We've bought 2 furnaces from them, and have them tune up our system twice a year. Their courtesy and professionalism have been outstanding, and the work they have done has been excellent. With an old house with failing pipes, we've always felt confident that we had Ladd to call if we needed them. I would recommend them - and have several times - to anyone that is looking for great service and really nice folks!

I had Plumbing issues with another company that left me without usage of two toilets in my home. The previous plumber had suggested that the shut-off valve to my toilet was broken but neglected to repair it. Called lad after hours and they were prompt and fast and they came out and fixed the shut-off valve and even offered in the future to try to see if they could fix the problem with my toilet that the other plumbing company failed to repair. I love ladd! They are awesome

The tech was really nice but I had a feeling he wasn't properly trained on my unit type (newer high-efficiency) so when he diagnosed the problem with a $400 repair bill (plus the $100 service call), I got a second opinion. Turned out to be a completely different problem and $115 later, it's fixed.

Ladd Came first thing after I made the appointment. Removed 12 inches of water from my storm shelter and the dead snake clogging my drain (ewww) all for 90 dollars. I would have signed over all of my savings for the dead snake removal. So impressed with the cost and excellent customer service.

Dave came out to replace a faucet with newer model, replace a sink drain assembly, and stop a toilet from running. $460 later, the toilet still runs and the pipe now leaks where he replaced the faucet. I called them to give them the chance to make it right and they wanted to charge me to come back out. No thanks, I have paid you enough for you to screw up my plumbing! Never again!

I live in Florida but my mother had a plumbing issue in Kansas City. I was desperate to find someone reliable and trustworthy. Its my mother! So, I checked yelp! Ladd exceeded my expectations. The office staff Christina and Lois were extremely helpful and Ryan the plumber was on time, polite and thorough. I'm grateful to have come across Ladd and I highly recommend them!

Can not recommend. Used for larger new home -- entire HVAC and plumbing. Both were done so poorly and messed up badly that I had to have another company do major repair work on both and at considerable cost. Attempts to negotiate a resolution with the owner were useless.

I got a bid on a new furnace from Ladd based off of a referral from my contractor. I actually use another HVAC company for my general service but wanted to see what someone else would bid me. The two bids were pretty close in cost but after speaking with Roger the sales rep and having him address all my questions my gut told me to go with Ladd. I cannot say enough great things about this company.

Their customer service was outstanding. Every person I came in contact with at that company was helpful, friendly and followed up as they said they would. They were on time for the install, kept a clean work area, competitively priced, and the install was neat and tidy. On the day of the install if I had questions they would stop working, address me and take their time to respond to anything I wanted to know, respectfully. I couldn't find one thing that I had issue with, which is rare since folks don't normally meet my expectations, Ladd exceed them.
