I needed a kitchen gas line relocated to accommodate space for a new oven. Jason was prompt and experienced providing a quote then immediately began work on this job. Due to safety issues with main gas shutoff valve, Jason could not complete the work until after the Gas Company repaired their valve. However, I contacted Jason after the Gas Company finished & Jason returned the following day to quickly perform the necessary reroute of the gas line. Great work Jason!

Like most people we waited till it was too late to fix a leak. After many cheap handy men who couldn't get the job done right we finally decided to call a professional to fix it right! I've used DC Drains numerous times over the years both at my home and at my business. It used to be great! In the past year, I've had less positive experiences. Most recently, a technician came out (he was great, BTW) to fix the handle on the toilet. It needed tightening, not replacing. He was maybe working for 5 minutes and we chatted for a few after that.

The bill was $197. I am glad to pay a service call fee, but that is just too high. (I didn't bother to complain as I just won't use them again). For my previous visit, the technician who came was sssooo slow. That's fine, but then I was billed hourly. I have no objection to hourly billing but if it is going to be a time based job the crew had better be efficient. Based on the last two experiences, I'll look elsewhere for plumbing services.

DC Drains is Simply AMAZING, I've dealt with my fair share of service companies throughout the year and this company might be at the top with their service & professionalism. We contacted DC Drains (Steven & crew) on a Saturday night to Hydro Jet our Commercial building and they said "no problem". They arrived on time, were professional throughout the whole process and got the hydro jetting done so quick and efficiently.

I was impressed on how thorough they were. Their customer service was incredible as well, they had an answer to every questions I asked. We're making DC drains our primary contact for any of our plumbing issues going forward.

I called DC Drain who by the way is also Anderson plumbing, on a Tuesday because my toilet was clogged, the tech was un-able to clear it so I purchased a new toilet which he was supposed to install on toilet the following Friday, , he did not show, because he told me I had to purchase an adapter which was not cheep I decided to hang in there with DC.

I called the office and they sent out another tech, they told me it would be there head tech, they sent a rookie plumber, he took one look at the adapter and said he was not qualified, I called again and 7 days later they sent out the same plumber who stood me up several days before he installed the toilet and never even used the adapter which I could not return, collected $197 for 45 min of work and left, I woke up this morning and when I looked at the toilet I noticed he did not even bother to caulk around the base of the toilet, so off to Home Depot for an $11 tube of caulk and the hassle of doing it myself.

The silver lining is I am about the redo my kitchen and was thinking of using them, dogged that bullet, but a week of hassle and back and forth for a toilet install (COME ON!) it was exhausting DC is short for the Death of Customer service I guess.

Over the weekend, I noticed a leak beneath our kitchen sink. Unable to determine the origin of the leak, I called DC Drains, who sent out one of their professional plumbers to inspect the area, Cody. Cody arrived right on time, determined that the source of the leak was the faucet, explained what the issue was, and advised me on what type of fixture I should look for in replacing the old faucet that put in 20 years of hard labor.

The next day we secured our new fixture, and I contacted DC Drains to schedule installation, and on Tuesday another of their professional plumbers, John, showed up to our home, again right on time. John worked efficiently, cleanly, and completed the installation without a hitch, he was friendly and respectful to boot, and now we have a handsome looking new faucet that works perfectly, ready to put in another 20 years of reliable service. DC Drains provided me a small discount for having been a long time customer, which was a good thing because their prices have increased considerably.

So substantial was the increase that I did some research, and I found that the company has been bought out by Anderson Commercial Plumbing, which has not developed a personal relationship with its customers, and I suppose this is why implementing such a steep increase was not a concern to them. DC Drains sent over two very professional, respectful, clean, hardworking and friendly professionals to tend to our plumbing needs. Only time will tell if that is enough to retain loyal customers like me in the future, as the last thing I want going down the drain is my hard earned money.

They are under new ownership. All of these positive reviews are for previous owner. They are not the same.

We had a good experience with the DC Drains team that came to fix 7ft of our sewer pipe. The team of Chuck, Yoshi and Adrian was very professional both in the manner of working as well as the explanation of the work done and how to maintain the sewer pipe after it was replaced. Recently I had to have DC Drains nstall a waterline to a refrigerator. It was challenging as it is an old home. John Akamin the service tech could not have done a better job - through, clean, professional - great to work with. We have used DC Drains for many years and multiple houses. They are always on time, professional and helpful - never have I had to call them back on the work they complete. We are lucky to have this plumbing company in our area.

John came to my home in the exact window I was given. He analyzed the problem immediately and was able to fix the problem on the spot because he had the exact part needed on hand. He was concerned with keeping my home clean by wearing shoe covers and cleaning his workspace thoroughly. The whole job was done efficiently, professionally and kindly. Been a DC Drains client for over 20 years. Past couple weeks have reinforced why. Craig came out on short notice and quickly repaired a leak we had in our attic, which was flooding the master bathroom. After the walls were removed, Cody came back and removed the remaining copper with newer plastic and tied that into the old main feeder so that it does not happen again in this area. We just had one of the easiest and fastest plumbing repair experiences. Cody from D.C. Drains came out and repaired 3 leaking toilets at our gym and was in and out of there in less than an hour. Had a backed-up plumbing issue and DC Drains was very responsive and sent a plumber out right away. Cody was expecially helpful in explaining my plumbing issues and would request his services again if the need arises.

I have been so pleased with the services from DC Drains. Yoshi has always been very helpful and demonstrates and lets me understand what the issue is that either clogged my drains or caused my faucet to not pour out enough water. They were available in the middle of the night when toilet water was overflowing onto the floor and backing up the other toilets. Very responsive and very polite.

Forgot to do a review a couple of months ago, but my drains are still clear! Dylan did a great job in clearing them out, I'd have to have them done quite often with my other plumber. He also fixed my house bibs, the hard water made it impossible to remove my hose from the spicket! Great service at a great price!

Our plumber referred us to DC Drains. He refers clients to them for smaller projects. They sent John to help us. We were very pleased with him. He was very conscientious and did a nice job! We would not hesitate to hire them again.

I called DC Drains, INC (Costa Mesa) very early yesterday morning because of a clogged pipe in the kitchen. Luckily they had an opening 90 minutes after my call. Dylan did a great job and was very professional. (I then found out that DC Drains INC is now owned by Andersen Commercial Plumbing, LLC.)

DC Drains responded very quickly when I called. Craig was professional and mindful of the covid 19 virus. He wore a mask & gloves and chose to look for a repair option outside to avoid coming into the house. He found and fixed the problem quickly, in just about an hour.

I have used this plumber for several jobs in my own home and my rental. DC Drains responds quickly, they are honest, efficient, knowledgeable and competitively priced.

Was referred by a contractor friend to call DC for my water heater replacement. The guys did a great job, everything was smooth. I have had a couple bad experiences with work at the house, so this was awesome. Over the years, I have noticed there are some companies that have a LOT of reviews and overwhelmingly positive. One company.it was clear they are writing their own reviews.

The reviewers alway referred to a worker as Eric R. Or Jeff M. Really? THAT many people know the initial of the last name of a guy fixing their drain? Lol. I don't think so. There are some companies with a higher average review. Be wary if things sound too good. Based on the water heater replacement, I'll use them next time I have a plumbing need.

My wife and I have been using DC Drains for many years for all of our plumbing needs including annual snaking of our drains and installing a new water heater. DC Drains never fails to provide excellent plumbing service. When it was time for the big project, re-plumbing of our 1964 house, it was an easy choice to select DC Drains for the job. After having some good experiences with DC Drains, the last one didn't go so well. The plumbers arrived on time and ran several tests looking for a water leak, but were unable to find one. They did their best, so no problem so far. What I discovered after they left is that one of them damaged the bottom dishwasher cover. Bent it severely. I contacted the owner and sent him a photo.

He asked for details on the model, which I provided. Never heard back. Before this issue, I never had problems with him returning calls or text. It's a sad decline in service.
