Benrich Service Company is a multi-generational family owned business. The name Benrich was derived from it's founder, Richard Bendheim. Richard established Benrich in 1962 on the family philosophy of unparalleled service, honesty, integrity, and fair pricing. After Richard's passing in 1985, his son Peter took over the family business.
The Benrich Water Treatment System is effective in that it coats the inside of piping systems with a microscopic layer of film, thus minimizing the water to metal contact and reducing the rate of corrosion/calcification. It will also slowly remove existing scale that has formed within your piping system over time.
Every Benrich technician takes pride in the quality of their work and doing the job right - the first time - every time. We work hard to earn your trust and that's why many of our customers have relied on us for decades. We are constantly growing every year along with the number of jobs we perform. This year is looking to be one of our busiest years and we owe it to our great customer relationships.
Benrich Service Company is always looking for experienced and qualified applicants to join our team. The value of your workmanship will be noticed as you are given opportunities to shine. We had an issue with finding a specific part. It was a valve with a gauge on it. This valve was leaking profusely that we had to shut the hot water off. While we were looking for this specific part, it seemed like there was backorder which would take a week for delivery and we needed a licensed technician to order it. This part basically mixes the hot and cold water and it was cracked, which was confirmed by two experts. Unfortunately, when it rains, it pours and everyone seemed to have a boiler problem. Benrich sent Ray over, a Senior Boiler Technician, who discovered a workaround and was trustworthy and honest about his time.
He fused/welded a pipe and turned down the temperature. We had hot water instantly. Previously, we worked a company who was untrustworthy and while we contracted quarterly inspections, there were additional charges of ~$2000.00 then another $1000.00 the following year and $571 + $865 +$650 last year. At one point, they charged us $271 for 8 minutes of work.
The Benrich manager also mentioned that the repair person before had done a number (ie negative connotations). For me trustworthiness is and was an issue along with the monopoly of parts and supply chain issues of parts. I am pleased that Ray, fixed our boiler in record time and we were lucky he came in from Hollywood because last year a boiler tech came all the way from Long Beach and wanted to charge us for traveling their back-and-forth commute in rush hour traffic. Ray did not do any of those tactics and his work was done professionally (had brought in an industrial-commercial tank to fuse the pipes).
So far, I have not heard any complaints from any senior citizens, veterans or disabled homeowners on this matter and we are thankful that he repaired before the Father's Day and Juneteenth holiday weekend. Ray is smart and made decisions in a timely matter, keeping costs low. We will use Benrich again.

This is a rare company with highly skilled technicians. I have a 36 year old Teledyne Laars pool heater. After closing on my home in November last year, I immediately discovered major issues with the unit. Basically it would blow out after running a bit. Clearly a gas leak/buildup and combustion issue. The boom would be so loud that it could be heard down the street.
The force would blow the front cover off. Totally dangerous. Happened 4 times in total, each time First American Home Warranty would send me a hack pool contractor to deny my claim. One insisted it was SPIDER WEBS in the gas burners. Each time I paid $75 for nothing. So I decided to look up the manufacturer, now Laars. I stumbled across Benrich website. Called after hours and spoke to a nice girl who took my callback info.
The next day Joe called and offered a free estimate. I almost turned him down because he didn't promise anything over the phone. But when Omar the technician came (on time), it was all up and up from there. Super nice guy who had the confidence to fix the old clunker! He found many problems that the home warranty contractors totally missed or ignored. For less than $500, he totally made it run smoothly and safely. This company has saved me thousands of dollars on a replacement. Thanks Joe and Omar!

Outstanding service - knew exactly what the issue was with a heater system that hadn't worked I. 5 years. Chris, the tech, diagnosed the problem in minutes. The company had the part ordered and was back out to fix the issue in a jiffy - at almost half the cost that was quoted by another company. Thanks so much! Update - two weeks later, we had a separate isse with a water pipe leaking. Benrich to the rescue again, diagnosing the issue immediately and fixed the problem for half the price of others. Thanks Jeremiah and Gio! Thanks again, Benrich!

I sent in pictures via email to these guys showing them the condition of the boiler burner coils that needed to be cleaned. I asked for a guy to come out and quote on the cleaning. Instead of sending me a local repair guy they got one to travel over an hour away and wanted me to pay $150 bucks/per hour for his travel time. All he did was look confused at the boiler and agreed that it needed to be cleaned but he didnt bring any solution to clean the coils.
So he tried to charge me $400 bucks for coming out and doing absolutely nothing and gave me a quote for the work that needed to be done (cleaning the burner coils) for $366 dollars. How can the quote for the work that needs to be done cost more than the work that needs to be done? after complaining to the dispatcher that sent me this guy they agreed to charge me $250 for wasting my time.
Totally disappointed in this company and i wouldn't want the service guy back for free because he truly had no clue on what to do the fix the problem with the fame sensor getting so dirty that it stops working after a couple of days. Waste of time and money. Stuck in the same position now, $250 bucks in the hole.

I tried to call this company and I was hung up on and the front desk person was very rude to me. I tried to get the CEO's email but I could not find it to email him directly. No matter who calls the front desk should always be cordial and professional, you never know who your next client is going to me and how big they are going to be. So better to be professional and friendly to everyone.

I would give this company 10 Stars if I could. Service was so fast, friendly and they cleaned up everything. They were $1,000 cheaper than another company that didn't complete the job in 30 days. Benrich had it done in one day. I would highly recommend them to friends and family and definitely use them again. I only have one request, send me some business cards please so I can pass them out

STAY AWAY from this guys! they ruined one of my $11K Raypak boilers while changing a header and connecting the temp control sensors in wrong way! they blame on the boiler about the malfunction for "2 months" They said the boiler is too old and should be replaced. Having bad feeling about this, I called ProStar for a repair estimate. When the technician arrived took him 5 minutes to discover a Benrich 2 months problem, yes the temp controller sensors were in wrong position! Benrich says they are Raypak Service but NO they are not!
I called Raypak but they never heard from Benrich. After 2 repairs made by ProStar (as test) I didn't doubt to ask ProStar to replace my 2 boiler by 2 new energy efficient $12k each Raypaks. I asked Benrich to find a crossover valve on my apartments but they suggest to replace all 30 apts shower valves. I say WTF! using my common sense I discovered 2 bad shower valves bad, I call RGA Plumbing to replace it for $540 each MOENTROL with pressure balance and volume control and end of story. As I said STAY AWAY from Benrich!

Benrich Service Company was an amazing company to work with. The customer service is unparalleled and even through their expansion of service areas, they have managed to keep their company and staff tailoring to their customer's needs. Their pricing is fair, they are extremely thorough, and the end result is nothing short of perfection. I will definitely be referring everyone here for their plumbing and water heating needs.

Your company has the worst customer service on the planet! It is inexcusable to wait for a quote for 2 weeks. You had no problem sending a person to shut my water off and pay you $250 (which literally took the technician 5 minutes), but I have been waiting from Nov 1 to Nov 15 for you to send someone to take a look at the pipes that need to be worked on. (Even though I sent an email with pictures of the spot in question.) And then for me to continue following up on the quote. leaving messages without ANYONE calling me back. Instead, I need to keep calling you.?
Not everyone has jobs worth $40,000! And no matter how small or how big, a customer is a customer. I regret that I have to work with you on getting our water shut down by your company, I regret that our HOA has chosen to partner with you. Unfortunately, it was not my decision and I am stuck dealing with the consequences.
