We've had Carl and his crew for two different projects in our home, the most recent involving some remodeling. Both times were great experiences. First of all, Carl is very knowledgeable. But he's also a great listener. He'll hear you out, then come up with a plan to make your vision a reality, within your budget. You'll get a detailed digital quote, which becomes a living document reflecting credits, change orders, etc., so that nothing is left unaccounted for, or up in the air.

You can depend on his scheduling: his crew shows up when promised. They work quietly and efficiently, asking for your confirmation on this and that so there are no surprises. These guys are craftsmen, problem-solvers, and energetic workers who will go the extra mile for you. I noticed during our recent remodel little favors they did that weren't in the quote but were just nice touches. Moreover, you can trust them in your house when you're not there.

Carl came highly referred by our real estate agent to evaluate our home for mold. She sends him to all of her clients, and I now know why. He has been in this business for almost 30 years and is an expert in his field. He shared and educated us as he went through our home. My husband and I talked about him after he left. with full confidence that he check and triple checked every area of our home to determine the next steps.

Do we have mold? Where are the leaks originating? What to do about the leaks. How to best remove the moisture in our bathroom, and where to place the exhaust fan for high test performance. Where we had compromised insulation and how to address that. He offered referrals to other vendors that would do the work, so there was no conflict of interest in the information and results shared with us. His expertise and overall demeanor and wealth of knowledge was worth his fee and more! P.S. No Mold -yay!

Used Carl Reese for a home inspection and couldn't have asked for a better inspection. The inspection came with the following: * Thermal infrared scan for plumbing leaks, electrical hot spots, and insulation deficiencies * Photo report * Follow up call with Carl * 1 year of consulting relating to any questions about your home. The final report was very thorough and detailed.

Almost too much information, but Carl advise that many of the repairs can be very minor, but that he will point out everything possible. Carl Reese is a certified General Contractor, Thermographer, Master Home Inspector, Certified Mold and Environmental Specialist with OSHA Hazwoper Certification. It may not be the cheapest inspection, but well worth the extra money when it's one of your most expensive purchase.

We have a fifteen year old house in the mountains at 5,500 foot altitude with temperature varying from 18-80 degrees. It was not retaining heat and the forced air heating system was working hard. Carl performed an energy assessment of our home to evaluate our needs. Now we are slowly making repairs and changes including more insulation, more energy efficient furnace, fireplace insert and more. He has all the necessary trades and tons of experience as a contractor and home inspection. He's a must call to figure out a plan. Next a new roof.

I recently used CR Construction for repairs to my home after I had water damage, which lead to mold. I found them to be very knowledgeable and experienced. High tech equipment was used and the mold sample lab results were explained to me. The affected areas were evaluated and I was given a detailed estimate which was more competitive and inclusive compared to other estimated I received.

The work was done as promised in the timeframe it was estimated in. I felt informed along the was and was very satisfied with the level of work that was done. I would recommend this trustworthy contractor to any homeowner that needs the job done correctly.

Carl has been doing work for me at two of my rental properties for the last 3 years. The very first time I used his company, I was living in northern California and I needed a contractor for my rental property in Newhall. I called three local Santa Clarita handyman/contractors to get a bid for the work. From the beginning Virginia took my call and scheduled Carl in a timely manner. Virginia and Carl were very good about meeting deadlines as promised and kept me informed via text and pictures regarding work at my rental.

I ended up with this company solely because one of the others i called showed up after 3 weeks of repeated phone calls to their company and all I heard were excuses as to why they were not able to get to my rental to bid it. When the other company finally gave me a bid it was a band-aid that would not have lasted long. The third company I couldn't even get them to get out to the rental property at all, ( they called 3 months after the fact to schedule!) UGH!

The world of contractors! Needless to say CR Construction is now my go to. Since that first experience, CR Construction is who I recommend to everyone looking for a handyman, home inspector, mold testing and general contracting. Carl was the most thorough inspector we have ever worked with. He spent time giving us useful information and advice. We will call him again with our next purchase. And, no, he didn't ask us to review him.

I chose Carl to come by and give me an estimate because of 13 Five Star reviews I read online. So he gave me an estimate for some plumbing and carpentry, and the final bill was actually lower. He's a thorough professional, honest, and the kind of guy you like to have in your house. He's a general contractor so there's probably nothing he can't do. But he also mentioned he's an expert at mold remediation: so I may need him again on a rental property. You can't go wrong with this guy!

Very friendly and professional. He gave our home a thorough inspection and made some very helpful recommendations to us about how to save money in the long run. His report was clear enough so even we inexperienced new home-owners could understand it!
