If it was possible to rate the Herdman Pluming team a 10 I would do it! There is a level of professional service that seems very rare these days, but I've had two instances in the last month for plumbing service- an outdoor water faucet that froze and leaked into a wall a few weeks ago and today for a puncture in the main water line from a new floor installation.

When I called today they were very helpful and located one of their plumbers to come by today and fix the issue. Brett came by today and Jim a few weeks ago. These are the kind of people that you want to have as friends and hang out with. They're very professional, knowledgeable, go the extra mile to deliver outstanding service because they care. I'm more than impressed. I will only call them if future issues arrive. Trust me, such a great team!

Today's appt was the third service (all different) I've had with Herdman Plumbing. I've been very satisfied all three times; this was the second time Brett was at my home. He did an excellent job both times: he's professional but still friendly and teaches as needed which I really appreciate. He's timely and mindful of wearing shoe covers and cleans up when his work is done. Brett is very good at what he does and is a valuable member of your team! Kudos Brett!

I found a cracked water valve on my main water panel and needed a plumber immediately. I called Herdman Plumbing and they reacted swiftly. They sent Chris S. who replaced it quickly, professionally and with first time quality. I will definitely use their services in the future. This is the company you call! The last time I tried to contact a plumber I had a heck of a time. No return calls and they wouldn't even answer their phones at times. It took weeks to find a plumber willing to come out. Not with Herdman Plumbing! These folks are AWESOME! They answer their phones and they make appointments and show up on time the day day they promise. The work was perfect and the plumber was friendly and positive. Finding a plumber that you can trust and rely on can be overwhelming to say the least. I feel extremely lucky that Herdman plumbing was referred to me by a neighbor. I have needed their services twice so far. Brett was punctual, professional and is extremely knowledgeable. My house is older so not the norm as far as dimensions and fixtures go. Brett dealt with all obstacles like a champ.

He gave me options and explained pros and cons. I am extremely happy with my new garbage disposal, repaired leaky shower and replaced recirculator pump. The prices quoted were exactly what was charged- nothing more. I will not hesitate to call upon them in the future.

The first time I called Herdman Plumbing it was to fix my water heater during Christmas week. I was scrambling to find somebody and they fit me in on a Sunday. Things were fixed quickly. The second time Herdman came by, it was for a mystery hot water issue that had been around since I bought the place. Jim was our technician that came out and replaced our water heater. He did a wonderful job, very thorough, he spent time explaining how too set the temperature on the water heater. I replaced my kitchen sink and countertop. This placed the bottom of the sink below the discharge outlet (no room for a p-trap). I called Herdman in the morning and they got a crew out that afternoon. Jim and Chris were terrific to work with. They explained why and how they needed to abandon the old line in the wall and install an entirely new drain line through the cabinet floor and back through the crawlspace to the main.

My crawl space is not a pleasant place to work. They had all of the parts needed on hand and it only took a couple of hours to plumb the sink drains and dishwasher and put in the new drain line. Their price was reasonable for the work. If you need work done beyond your comfort zone, and replacing an entire drain line is way outside mine, this company can do it.

We had a problem with our gas hot water heater and Herdman Plumbing responded right away. The professional approach & attention to detail by Herdman Reps Jim an Brett was outstanding. Jim and Brett made sure that the carbon monoxide problem went away by installing a new furnace even though it was Saturday and it took working into the evening. They made us feel as though our need to have a safe, sound and trouble free heating system was as much their concern as it was ours. I've worked with a couple plumbing companies so far and this one makes me feel like I can trust them. Others left my gut feeling like they were misleading me. Herdman's is honest, very courteous, and very helpful. My technician's name was Brett and he was wonderful!

They came in for a kitchen sink hookup that required new pipe installation due to the kitchen remodel. They did an awesome job and were very reasonably priced. They got the job done quickly and gave me some good pointers on some other things that I should switch up to avoid future issues. Strong reccomend.

I had Herdman Plumbing come out to re-build a toilet which the previous owners had installed non-manufacturer parts into and resulted in a barely functional flush lever. Furthermore, the previous owners didn't have the toilet mounted on straight which was an eyesore in the bathroom. The great folks at Herdman ensured that I had the correct parts on hand and helped to re-build the toilet and even straightened it out for me! Furthermore, after their initial re-build I noticed that the toilet tank was refilling every 10-30 minutes at all hours of the day.

I called Herdman Plumbing and let them know the issue and they had someone out the next day to fix the issue free of charge. I would definitely use Herdman again and recommend them to friends.

Prompt, professional service. The problem was diagnosed as being with the County sewer line, and we were given very helpful photos by Herdman to assist with fixing the issue.

Normally, I wouldn't take the time, but Herdman Plumbing far exceeded my expectations and thoughts towards customer service in today's society. I called Thursday morning spoke with Haily at Herdman Plumbing and explained that my Rheem tankless water heater had gone out again (second one in two years). She explained, that their (Herdman Plumbing) warranty was only good for one year and referred me to a company in Seattle that was authorized to work on the Rheem water heater.

After speaking with the company in Seattle, they referred me to call Rheem directly for help with troubleshooting the unit. Rheem asked me to take detailed photos of the unit, exhaust, intake and outside where it exits. Once I emailed the photos to Rheem. I called back and spoke with a representative, that asked how far is the distance from the unit inside to where it exits outside.

I explained it seemed about 20-25 feet. He stated it should only be about 5 feet and the exhaust vent should be a three inch, not a two inch. Additionally, he stated it would be hard to warranty the unit because of the issues. I called Herdman Plumbing, spoke with Adam Herdman (owner) and explained the situation, he requested me to email him the photos that I just sent to Rheem.

After reviewing the photos, Adam called me back and stated that he was going to send a superintendent out and install a new Rinnai tankless water heater on Friday morning. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this. Herdman Plumbing took ownership of the issue, even though it was the builders fault. Just when you think in today's world, customer service is nonexistent, Herdman Plumbing changes my mind. You have a customer for LIFE!

Herdman Plumbing is a company that clearly cares about the quality of work it does. They were the initial plumbers on my house when it was built 5 years ago. When I found a leak from something that happened when the house was built, they came out and fixed it for me at no cost, because it was the right thing to do. Good company with good values. Would recommend to anyone.

In an area with very unresponsive contractors Herdman stands out above the rest. They went above and beyond to help me out with a service/warranty issue. The owner was very friendly and went out of his way to fix a manufacturers issue on a short time frame. Have dealt with them several times and the whole staff is friendly and helpful. They are on the top of my list for plumbing needs in the future.

Edited Nov 2016: Turns out the plumber from Herdman used the wrong part (I found out because I ended up having the same leak return & had another plumber come out). Because of this I'm changing my rating. What an underhanded thing to have done! Reliable, knowledgeable, and good customer service. When I had a plumbing leak, I called several local plumbers but was only able to get someone from Herdman out same day.

The woman on the phone was great--quick, polite, intelligent, and obviously experienced with this. They assigned the job to a company they use, apparently, called Express Plumbing. The plumber was quick and efficient and the charges seemed to be fair. They also have a "preferred customer" list you can join which lowers your cost a bit, gives you priority for emergencies, and signs you up for annual maintenance check-ups. Highly recommended!

Superb customer service! Tech was on time, professional and efficient. After some feedback Herdman Plumbing came highly recommended by many people.
