They sent David and he was awesome! He went above and beyond to help show me what was happening and then he fixed the issue with ease! He was a great person and super helpful! Monte is AMAZING! I had just purchased my first home and during our first winter here the furnace wasn't working! Not only did Monte come out the first time and truly taught us some important preventative measure he also came out the next day after we still had problems! Such wonderful support from this team and such quick service! They truly go above and beyond.
In addition to being a new home owner I wanted to make sure It wasn't a user error caused by our new thermostat. Monte took the time to show me how to use it and to keep it in a permanent hold as opposed to a schedule. Will for sure call them again. Thanks Monte for keeping us warm this winter!

So our kids filled our outdoor venting system with rocks, which left us without working heating system just in time for the recent cold spell. Called one company that sent out a service rep who spent hours at our home, could not fix anything but gave us a quote in multiple thousands for repair, then never heard from them again after they'd told us they'd get back to us with a plan.
So moving on, our next try was Smith and Willis-wish we'd gone to them first! Will definitely be our go-to for heating/cooling issues in future-Monte arrived within a day of contact, on time, identified the problem immediately, gave us detailed breakdown of repair options with exact quotes. (SIGNIFICANTLY lower than other company without my having revealed previous quote amount.
We're talking other company's thousands vs. Smith and Willis's hundreds. Monte's professionalism, knowledge, and precision on quote built instant trust.) Entire assessment and repairs were completed within an hour, left work area clean (after going through drywall!), unobtrusive while in our home working yet polite, friendly and very helpful about any follow-up needs or questions. Great experience, highly recommend!

David did a thorough and highly professional service on our AC system. He corrected some original installation minor issues, and checked out the entire 2 unit AC system and thermostat operation. He also took the time to clearly explain best operating details. Would highly recommend Smith and Willis for all AC and Heating needs. Services: A/C system repair, A/C system maintenance, HVAC duct & vent cleaning

Monte, the technician from Smith and Willis was outstanding. Was thorough, pleasant and knowledgeable. Took time to explain the nature of my furnace problem and what he was doing for my maintenance and tune up. Smith and Willis also previously installed a new air conditioning unit and humidifier. Did a great job.highly recommend them.

We had a issue with the blower motor leaking oil from the sealed bearings. S&W was able to replace the motor under warranty as is was only 2-1/2 years old. Worked with Karrie to schedule and Frank the Service Manager on the warranty. Then Jim Currier, service technician came and did the work. Everyone at Smith and Willis we're friendly, courteous, helpful and professional! Jim Currier was very nice and explained exactly what was needed and did the work very professionally. He's a great technician! I highly recommend this company!

Our Heat System was not delivering any heat or air to an entire section of the house. David from Smith and Willis came out and installed a scoop and now that section recieves much better air flow and stays more consistent in temperature with the rest of the home. Summers are more comfortable and winters less cold in the Master Bedroom. David also took his time and explained all the features of the upgraded thermostat that he suggested. David was polite, helpful and professional. Definitely recommend them and be sure to ask for David.

We have a new build home that Smith & Willis had installed the HVAC system in. I felt like the air in two rooms wasn't getting warm so the builder sent them out to do a CFM test. David and Brody were sent to do the test and they are amazing amazing! Brody let my 4 year old follow him around and watch to "help". David took the time to teach me the features of the thermostat and brought up other things they could install, which is obviously a sales pitch but he did a great job of just telling me the facts and answering my questions. If I need service from Smith & Willis again, I will definitely be requesting these two.

These guys did the work for our builder at our new home. They were less than helpful. Our furnace was off for an entire weekend and the compressor wasn't turning on during our inspection. They told us everything was fine and the inspector was wrong. It was insanely hot out and the AC was pushing ZERO air, but apparently that's fine.

We just moved into a brand new house and the fan was already malfunctioning day 3. So first the positives, the company was able to make an appointment within 3-4 days of me calling. When the guy showed up he was able to find and fix the issue within five minutes. The reason why I gave them only two stars is because when he was cleaning out the fan, apparently he just dumped a bunch of drywall and bugs into our toilet AND left it there!
We had a guest come over an hour later and it was extremely embarrassing when they said "ummm you have bugs in your toilet". How hard is it to first of all, put the bugs in some toilet paper and throw it in the garbage can right next to the toilet? and second, why can't you carry around a mini broom and dust pan to clean up whatever mess they make at a customers house? You can literally buy them at the dollar store. Ugh!

Their work is completely garbage, got a new home from Lennar and every night I hear popping noise from the HVAC system. They have tried to fix it like 5 times and every time they fail, now they're saying it's perfectly normal. Even their own tech that came out said there's probably a tear or something jacked up with the system and told me to call a duct cleaning company and see if they can send a camera to look for tears. Wouldn't trust them near any furnace. Potential customers BEWARE

Had my new furnace/AC installed in by Smith & Willis in November of 2014, and have subsequently had my Freon refilled twice since then. After the second refill, I called them up and was surprised to hear that their warranty department would no longer exist. I am currently faced with a window A/C unit as a short-term fix, but that is on its last legs.
I wish the warranty department still existed with Smith & Willis so I could save some $$ in getting this addressed. Be very careful if you need warranty work done on your new install. Smith & Willis may not honor it.

Absolutely terrible customer service! I called to get them to do warranty work on my furnace, but they told me that they only do new construction and weren't doing and new warranty work. There excuse was that they changed their business model. Well, I wouldn't have to call if you had replaced the blower motor correctly the first time. This will be the 3rd motor in 3.5 years.
That is ridiculous and the fact that you are not willing to stand by your work and make it right. So just know if you have a problem with your furnace, don't expect them to fix it. I would like to thank Catherine S for letting me know that there are a lot of quality HVAC companies in Denver other than Smith & Willis. Besides, why would I want the company that has installed to parts in my furnace incorrectly twice to work on it a third time.
I would probably only get 2 years out of a new blower motor since that is the going rate for their installations. I mean really, the average life of a motor is only about 10 years anyway.

SO.Driving on Titan Road last week a van driver of theirs decided he would drive right behind me when I was going the speed limit through a new construction zone. 10 MPH is the limit and I'd imagine he knows how my bumper smells, he was so close. Once I got through the construction zone - ZOOOOM goes the van around me on a double yellow. I called the number on the van to complain and no one returned my call.
Guess there was a serious plumbing problem in the area for the driver!. If they drive like that, I can't imagine them in my home. ***Update: Had a follow up call with Catherine and she agreed to contact the driver. Thanks!

Ask for Monty! He was a great and knew what to do to fix the issues. I am so glad that Smith & Willis sent this gentleman because he took great professional care with our problem and made certain all was working properly and to optimum levels before he left. Very pleased customer from Leyden Rock, Arvada! Thank you Monty!

I can't speak highly enough of Smith & Willis. They go out of their way to ensure a job is completed correctly and professionally. I had a ductless split AC unit recently installed in a historical building that was over 114 years old. We ran into a few problems due to the nature of the building structure but the company went out of its way to make sure everything was just right with the instal.
My hat is off to the fabulous work from Chris Stibbs and his son. They do fantastic work. Also a special thanks to Jim, Jacob and Chris Dolif. I highly recommend Smith & Willis for your next AC install.

New construction installation was faulty. They were out first summer and filled the unit with refrigerant and called it fixed. This second summer when it is no longer under warranty they could not be here for 3 weeks and would charge a service charge and an hourly rate. When I hired another company and they found the faulty installation issue and fixed it I sent Smith and Willis the bill.
The owner determined he would not reimburse any part of it. Do not consider working with an owner and a company that treats customers so poorly. Owner, would you have asked a member of your family to sleep in a room that is 86 degrees so that your company could possibly not fix the unit for a third time?

Called on 7/1/16. to make an appt. to have my humidifier repaired and I was told by the girl answering the phone that the scheduler would call me back because she was not at her desk. It's now July 10 and still have not been called to schedule my appointment. Again another example of a poor customer experience.

I want to thank Anthony and David for taking the time to show me what customer satisfaction is about! They took the time to inspect both my units, set them properly and explain what they did and the levels of freon put into my system. They walked around and made sure my vents were all blowing properly and I appreciate that. They were very courteous to myself and to my kids and that is very important to me. Thanks again.

Be very careful with these guys. My system is just over a year old. It was admittedly installed incorrectly, and when they came to fix it, it was STILL incorrectly done. however now that the season is changed and we noticed that it was still not corrected, they wanted to charge us for a visit. Our house is uncomfortable and our LEED certified house wastes energy and now our electric bill is doubled! I read this on several occasions on new builds. Very friendly on the phone, but be warned. Good luck!

New construction installation. Refrigerant leaked due to poor installation. Naturally discovered on a Friday when unit was first turned on for the hottest weekend of the year. Warrantable work considered "non-emergency" on a brand new install. 4 day lead time on repair. Poor customer service. Wouldn't allow options for another company to fix and in fact threatened they would void warranty!
That sums it up. We will see if they can fix it Smith and Willis is just another company all about the $$$ and not about customer satisfaction. Their website says honesty and integrity is a core value as well as exceeding customer expectations! What a joke! What a great antagonizing response from Smith and Willis This is what you get here. My expectations are you install it right the first time and if you don't.
Make the customer a priority to fix your sub par labor with urgency and not when it is convenient. I'll reiterate this again, it isn't as though I called you to fix my 10 year old unit out of the blue. The unit was brand new and not installed properly! That's on you not anyone or any other entity, YOU!

Terrible Experience - Don't buy from this place. We purchased a large house with a 6 Zone AC system in the Columbine area of Littleton. Our air conditioner went out and not knowing anyone else, I ended up contacting Smith & Willis. They came out and replaced the existing unit with a new air conditioner and for months afterward we had nothing but problems with lack of ability to cool our house and frequent freeze ups.
After multiple visits and issues, I ended up contacting a couple other AC businesses and inquiring about the problems. I was told repeatedly that anyone in the AC business should know that you never should install a single stage AC unit with a multiple zone system. They said you should always have a two stage unit. Luckily I had purchased our system on an American Express Gold Card.
At this point, I called and reversed the charge with Amex. Over the next 8 months, this got Smith & Willis's attention and eventually they came back out and replaced the unit with a 2 stage Bryant AC unit. At this point, I paid them (approx $7000 in total) and had no issues for the next 14 months. This past week, the Bryant two stage AC unit (which was supposedly new) has failed and I contacted Smith & Willis's service department on Thursday.
The lady answering tells me they are booked and can't send anyone out till the following Thursday. I ask for a manager and she tells me it won't matter who I talk to, everyone is booked right now. I promptly hang up and contact Littleton Heating and Air who comes out same day. They first tell me that the unit has been installed far too close to our house on two sides for adequate ventilation and consequently has gotten plugged up with debris. Next, they diagnose that the unit went into thermal lockout due to over exertion of the fan motor because of improper installation and ultimately this led to the fan going out on a 1 year old unit. Lttn HVAC said they could order a new fan motor and have it in this coming Monday.
Of course the fan motor itself is warrantied by Bryant, but Lttn HVAC's labor charges are not. I decided to go ahead with Lttn HVAC even though labor was supposed to be covered by Smith & Willis for 3 years. Be forewarned - Smith & Willis is incompetent for anything but cheap new construction jobs and it will cost you in the long run if you use them. The repair man from Lttn HVAC even told me he'd heard rumors they were installing refurbished equipment on jobs that were being advertised and sold as new.

They installed the HVAC on our new build house. We have two units. These guys have been AWESOME! When I purchased the house, the air conditioning units were too far away from the house, and with new homes, there isn't much space. They moved both units closer to the house even though they weren't obligated to. I also had a huge problem with the upstairs HVAC freezing over.
This happened several times. They came out, charged the A/C and dorked with some other things. This happened about three times. Finally, this summer, just out of warranty (this problem was reported in warranty though), they came out and found there was a known issue with the model of the a/c unit. There was a fix listed which they did and it worked flawlessly since. Their customer service is excellent! So very happy with them. Thank you!

The worst service ever. I needed a certification on my furnace in a home less than two years old it took two weeks to get a tech out to the house one week before closing. The tech called me down stairs and said put your hand on this fan motor it was warm it is burnt out you need to replace it. Keep in mind that the furnace is 18 months old and I have replace filter every month.
So I told the tech this has to be done in the next five days he side ok. Eight days later 270.00 for a certification I don't have when I call the office they tell me the tic is not closed and they don't know and will call back the next day so I called another service and talked to a tech he said yes the motor would be warm you ac was running. long story short we are probably going to lose the buyer on our home because of the delay and lack of service PLEASE DON'T USE THIS CO.
