Was not told and was surprised that their minimum rate is now $140 an hour PLUS $75 service call automatically added. Then they add any additional parts on top of that. Last time I used them it seemed reasonable. This was an unpleasant surprise. They did fix the problem without tearing a wall out, which I would not have authorized. Was told when I called to discuss it that they are much more reasonable than applewood - but anything is cheaper than them!

Horrible service. Left my bathroom dirty, didn't review the work with me, the service person just disappeared. They left the water pressure too low and after a month of several contacts, finally returned. When I asked what the water pressure level was the tech replied, "I don't know, I don't have a water pressure gauge" A plumber who doesn't have a water pressure gauge wants me to guess what water pressure is sufficient?! Follow up to management was useless. I'll pay the bill, but will never use Tony Capra Plumbing again

Capra plumbing is fantastic. These guys are very professional and personal. Can't reccomend them enough. Service and quality of work are top notch. We had a minor emergency and Dean got us back up and running in no time with great workmanship and a friendly attitude; on a Monday morning no less. Thanks again for the great response and work.

My wife and I were impressed with the nice showroom and display of plumbing fixtures. We placed an order with Tony in December of 2017. He never placed the special order items on our new construction project. He never followed up with distributors. I had to resort to working directly with manufacture's to receive our products. Horrible follow up service, and no return phone calls made for a bad experience. Buyer Beware!

Be careful when using Tony Capra Plumbing and heating. if they show up at your door and do no work, they will charge you $205! YET On their web site they have a section that is titled "Fair Pricing at Tony Capra Plumbing and Heating" they go on to say "We are a trustworthy business and only charge for products and services provided". "That is why we have chosen to stand by our traditional method while other companies have changed to upfront pricing".
Clearly $205 to show up is an up from charge. One that they do NOT explain to you when you schedule an appointment. I called to discuss my invoice and they basically said we don't care what you think.we don't care that this charge was not explained to you.our prices are the best in the Denver area (so not true) Feels like they pulled a fast one on me, and I would highly recommend you get an estimate on the phone before they arrive or it will cost you $205 before they do any work.
When I called to discuss this I spoke with Carlo, he had no desire to discuss this with me and said that's they way we do it. I am sorry no one explained that to you up front. I told Carlo I would pay their bill, but never use them again. He did not care at all, made it seem like I did something wrong. Great job Carlo, I appreciate your complete lack of care and your willingness to lose a customer. Unless you want to be overcharged. Stay away from Tony Capra Plumbing and heating.

The service and quality are outstanding from this company. I had 7 companies at my house to evaluate our leaking boiler and Tony Capra was the only one who worked to fix the problem instead of telling me I needed a new one. This saved a ton of money, but also showed that they care about the customer.

It means a lot to me to have a plumber I can trust especially with large complicated jobs. When I need a plumber, I don't need to take the time to call around to find a friendly competent plumber I can trust. I know I can just call Capra and they'll fix my plumbing issue. My neighbor found Capra Plumbing in 2006 when we discovered we had a leak in our water service line.
The Capra crew hand dug two holes in front of the house over six feet deep and installed a new water service line. They did a great job and when they filled in the holes, the ground disturbance was almost undetectable. I've called Capra for small plumbing jobs since and they've always done a great job. In January 2019, we found the sewer line that went from the house to the alley had a blockage.
I called Capra and Carlo had a crew at my home the next morning. The crew hand dug a hole over six feet deep and replaced damaged clay pipes with durable plastic pipe. Pat, the same plumber who installed our water service line in 2006 also repaired our sewer line in 2019. Pat did a great with both complicated issues or our antique (1912) plumbing.

Absolute worst customer service ever! I was never kept informed of the progress of my job. I had to keep calling to get updates. I was given dates and times of work to be done and NOTHING was done when I was told it would be done. The guy taking out my old tub showed up very late and then put the tub in my yard and told me his truck was full and that he would be back the next day to pick it up for disposal.
It sat in my yard for 3 weeks until we finally had to dispose of it ourselves! After many phone calls and promises that it would be done! Lost total trust in this company and Tony's word, decided to go with someone else to do install. Then when I ran into problems with install because of the jet tub I bought from Tony he refused to help us finish this mess! Hope I can save someone from our nightmare!

The night before I left for a month-long vacation, I discovered a leak in the water main coming into my house. I was able to get the water shut off at the curb, but could not figure out how I might address the problem from afar. After checking the Better Business Bureau website and finding Tony Capra Plumbing with an A+ rating, I gave the company a call. Carlo Capra answered the phone, knew exactly what needed to be done, and described a far less invasive repair technique than I had seen many of my neighbors experience. (The houses on my street are all over 100-years-old and one by one, the water mains have failed.) Carlo emailed an estimate to me, which was more reasonable than I had anticipated.
Before I returned home, Carlo not only replaced the water main, but replaced some additional galvanized pipe, checked to make certain all the water sources in my house were working properly, and replaced a toilet mechanism that had stopped working after the repair. I was not billed extra for any of this. Carlo's initial bid was the same as the final bill. I highly recommend this company.
