Frank and Rita started Macca Plumbing & Heating in 1960. At that time they had a four year old a two year old and an infant. Frank was on the job while Rita answered the phones and took care of their three boys. From their humble beginnings in a kitchen of a three family home the company has grown into an 8,000 square foot building, with thousands of parts and plumbing supplies on hand to better serve their customers.
Macca Plumbing & Heating has been doing medical plumbing for many years. Being among the first Plumbing Companies in the State of Connecticut to be certified to install Medical Gas Systems, and since then we have installed countless systems in hospitals and dental offices. We have renovated labs for some of the top colleges in the state.
Whether it is a small leak or a full bathroom remodel we can handle the job. With an experienced service department and an office staff waiting to schedule the work we make it easy to get your small repairs done. When it comes to bathroom or kitchen remodels one call does it all. We have a team of expert electrician's carpenter's painter's tile people that can get your project done quickly efficiently and within your budget.
Macca Plumbing & Heating has been serving Connecticut's commercial clients since their beginning. Working for the Aerospace, trucking, defense industry, management companies and property owners has been a mainstay of the business. The Macca Plumbing & Heating team is experienced in running Stainless Steele, CPVC, PVC schedule 80 and welded pipe. All types of processed and chemical pipe. They have on staff certified backflow preventer testers and licensed fire protection mechanics.

These guys saved us the day before we moved into our new home. They not only fixed the leaking bathtub that we called about. They also gave us a hand with a DIY sink installation, getting off some seriously seized washers. Without them, I think we wouldn't have finished the sink install before our move-in. Their rates were reasonable, too. I will be calling them for anything we can't tackle ourselves. Thanks guys!

I'm very disappointed to get a double quote on the same job that I had 2 quotes. I was looking for a gas line installation I received two quotes $2085 Advance plumbing & heating and his quote was a whomping $4200. What bothered me more as when I called the front desk. " I guess your going with Advance!" Wow I guess they're not in the need of future business. They must have a ton of it lined up or they don't care what the consumer thinks.
