We had Wm J Riley replace a boiler in our home. The price quoted was good and all work was performed on time and as promised. My only complaint, which I've seen on a lot of other reviews, was that scheduling was not well organized. I had to call back multiple times and had 2 people come out weeks apart to give me a quote because the first review was apparently lost. Luckily I was not in a rush, so I had no problem waiting. The work was high quality and professional, so I would definitely use them again.

I was so pleased with how knowledgeable and professional the plumbers were. They replaced my kitchen faucet and repaired my bathroom faucet in about 1 and 1/2 hours and the price was very fair :) Also, they were able to manage the water booster I have to shut off the water (which I was not knowledgeable about). They educated me on my water system and maintenance needs. I would highly recommend Riley Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing work in thier home.

The CO2 Detector for the finance malfunctioned. Dave and with a CO2 tester and a new hardwired detector. The testing was completed and the installation was done in less than 30 minutes. Everything was tested and the peace of mind is worth the 200 the service call cost

They were the only plumber to call me back and even came the same day to fix a leaky saddle valve to my refrigerator water line. Highly recommend! Service: Plumbing leak repair

Very poor customer service, whoever they have working in their office answering phones needs a day off. Jaded, rude and burntout are adjectives that come to mind. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere.

David arrived with a helper to fix and tweak my oil burner. Great Guy, knowledgeable, efficient, insightful, honest, professional. Can I say more? These guys were awesome, what appeared to be a disaster turned out well, everything was fixed quickly and efficiently.

Great experience with Riley plumbing & Heating. Having purchased a home that was built in the 50's, we discovered some leaks when winterizing our pipes. We also had a rotted valve that was leaking above our washing machine that needed to be replaced. My father has been a customer for 10+ years so he recommended Riley to check it out. They arrived on time and got the job done within an hour. Very professional crew, would strongly recommend.

Visiting my elderly parents, and arrived to a disaster of a leaking toilet pipe in the basement. Started calling around and William Riley moved appointments around to get to us ASAP. David P. could not have been more helpful, kind, and patient with my parents. It turned out to not be so much a plumbing as a septic/drain cleaning issue, but he made calls for us and got us on their schedules. He really saved the day! I have used William J. Riley Plumbing ever since I bought my house 11 years ago. I have always been very happy with their service, but today they really came through for me! My water heater broke and I found 3 inches of water throughout my basement. They answered the phone ~ 7:15am, got someone over immediately to turn the water off to the tank so I could turn the water to house back on, got me set up with a company to pump all the water out of the basement and then came back to replace my water heater.all in less then 10 hours. I felt completely taken care of and their entire staff was so nice. I am so, so grateful to them.

We contacted Riley Plumbing to fix broken water connector pipe under the Bathroom sink, They sent a plumber on July 29, 2021 to fix the plumbing issue. Plumber said that connector pipe can be replaced in $35 or entire faucet system can be replaced. we chose to replace the faucet system and procured the faucet ourselves. On August 2, 2021 plumber comes and performs the job.

We paid $410 for the services as per the invoice. In the evening of August 2 2021, we noticed a new leak under the sink from p trap and contacted the Riley office again. Same plumber came on August 3, 2021 and in the process of fixing the leak, cracks the sink. Plumber asks us to contact the office and leaves. We have been contacting the office almost every business day via phone or email but broken sink has not been replaced yet.

At the time of writing this, date is 8/23/2021 and no action has been taken to fix the broken sink or broken plumbing. We are surviving with one sink in the house for almost a month after paying a $410 for the services. Their response was rude in defending themselves, even though we never pointed finger at them. They kept us hanging in this situation with no resolution for weeks after weeks causing us inconvenience. I DO NOT recommend Riley Plumbing Services. Please go some where else and save yourselves from misery.

We were in a pinch as my parents were arriving from out of state, and sure enough we had a problem with the guest room toilet (broken water valve and worn out gasket). The good folks at Riley Wm J went out of their way to expedite the service. The tech who came was courteous and professional, and the repair charges were very reasonable. We will use them again.

I recently needed my boiler replaced. I had used Riley before after a Nextdoor post. They did a great job and even installed the boiler when I was on vacation. I came back to a warm house and a brand new tightly installed system. This service and boiler was worth the money.

Nick was great. I almost didn't go through because their receptionist is a miserable person it seems. But all in all the quality and communication of the tech was great

I have no hot water. This company came to my home and then disappeared. I have been waiting for an estimate for 3 weeks. I have not heard from them or received a return phone call to my multiple messages. They have no consideration or regard for customers. Beware of this company, they have extremely poor customer service and are simply a waste of time.

Talk about helpful, honest and wonderful! Right here, look no further. I've been gathering estimates for my hot water heater replacement (required by condo after 10 years) and after 5 estimates I call Riley Plumbing. They ask size, model, and then asks if I have serial number. Liz looks it up and, lo and behold, the unit is only 6 years old and does not need replacing!

Not one other plumbing company did this minor, but super important, piece of research before providing the estimate! This is the plumbing company I have saved in my Contacts list. Thank you to Riley Plumbing.

Have always had good experiences with Willam J Reilly. This last visit was no exception; friendly, helpful and good work. Great experience as usual. Will continue to use them.

The co reviewer and I have a family members oil boiler that needed some immediate attention. We called and setup an appointment right away. Dave came out on time to meet us and check out our aging boiler. Dave has been working on boilers since he was a kid in his dad's business and it shows. He cleaned and serviced the unit like a surgeon. After all the work and testing we feel so much better about the safety and efficiency of this unit. We will definitely be calling back for our annual inspections and any other plumbing issues.

Based on the great reviews I called to get an estimate. Apparently they do not have time for estimates. Never received a call back after speaking with 2 different people.

These folks talk straight and provide excellent service. I saved thousands, maybe five for new but not HE, for HE for seven to twelve thousand, by simply getting my decent system cleaned. They recommended just service when I told them over the phone I was considering a replacement! I have great windows, great insulation and can really justify going from proven super reliable rugged technology to HE equipment whose annual service cost will use up most of my savings, AND, I don't have to pay big money for a new system. I'm pretty sure these are the guys you want. Dave was prompt, professional and got it done very fast.

He even gave me an efficiency rating which was pretty much as it was designed. Now, if I want to eventually upgrade I can make a well informed comparison and do a cost analysis. The retort to my thinking is, a water heater might go every 6- 9 years but, that is only say, $900 over the next 6-9 years right, versus $7,000 to $12,000? I post this not just to praise Riley, but if you start with them, you won't be gathering estimates from other sellers when it won't pay anyway.

Though I have not yet actually used these guys for a service, their professionalism is superb. Sunday night I noticed my basement was flooded from the sewer line. I called Riley Plumbing immediately expecting to get a voicemail but someone picked up. They had someone out here first thing holiday Monday morning. David was friendly and diagnosed the problem was coming from a sewer blockage and gave us the number to the city to come fix it. If a problem remains internally I feel very confident getting in touch with David again and trust his expertise to fix the internal leaks.

We have used this company three times now. They do great work. Very good at talking through the job and not doing more than is necessary. I would definitely recommend. Reasonable rates as well.

I was having issues with my boiler on a Sunday (NO HEAT AT ALL!) in mid-March, temps in the high 20's/low 30's, so I went online and starting looking up different plumbing/heating companies. I made a few calls to companies I found online and Riley Plumbing and Heating was the first to return my call. One of the technicians, David, called me back shortly after I initially called and went over some details over the phone.

I had called a few other companies and wasn't sure if I should go with Riley P&H or not, but seeing David was very professional and pleasant on the phone, I decided to give them a shot and I was happy I did. David arrived to my house within 30 minutes (drove up from Warwick to North Providence) and quickly diagnosed what the issue was. He was very knowledgeable about my heating system and also very patient with my million questions!

He fixed my boiler within 15 minutes of arriving and ran a few different tests to ensure several other parts of the boiler were working properly as well. David was very easygoing, personable, efficient and just overall very pleasant to have in my home. Seeing that it was a weekend, the service was considered an "emergency visit" and the price was still very affordable.

They also provided a flashlight magnet for the fridge! If I need any plumbing or heating assistance in the future, I'd without a doubt call Riley Plumbing and Heating again.
