Walked into the basement to find a pool of water around my water heater. Noticed the drain valve was dripping water. Called for a repair tech late in the day. They sent him out first thing the next morning. Arrived on time was super polite, masked and had boot covers for his boots. Diagnosed the plastic valve was leaking and replaced it with a brass one. Quick turnaround, on time and polite.

The technician Sean was very knowledgeable and quick in resolving our hot water pressure issue on the kitchen sink. Extremely polite too. I definitely recommend Genmor Plumbing - San Jose! I pay a monthly amount to be covered for eventual plumbing issues and I'm happy with the services they provide.

For my large older apartment complex in San Jose, Genmor plumbing replaced all the interior water lines and a lot of exterior in ground water lines to new copper lines. They also replaced the smaller sewer lines in the buildings and some outside main lines. to ABS. And took care of some other repairs needed in the buildings. Genaro, the boss, was working at the site with his crew most of the days under the buildings and in the units and keeps his crew on track. From the Betty in the office and Genaro on-site they were a great coordination team to get this difficult job done. I highly recommend Genmor plumbing for this type of work.

Genaro and his team took care of re-piping the entire house in 2-3 days along with water heater replacement. They replaced 60 yrs old galvanized steel pipes with high quality copper pipes. They did all the work with high quality and were very flexible to accommodate any changes as the work progressed. Genmor plumbing pricing is very reasonable. They will not beat a handyman price but you have to understand that they are not a local handyman but professional plumbers. Plumbing inspection went very well, only 1-2 minor comments and Genaro took care of it quickly. Genaro and his staff were very careful about the current COVID situation and always wore a mask while at work. This shows they care about their employees and also about their customers. I would highly recommend giving them a chance before you finalize your plumbing work.

The owner himself came out to give me a quote. He not only gave the best price by hundreds but they got my water back into my home within several hours even though they were really busy. They had to come back several days later to start the actual work because they were very busy but who really cares when you are saving so much money and many of the other plumbers did not even return my call and several stated they could not quote for several days. Genmor ran a new copper main and a new front spigot for the hose in the front of the home where it belongs. Now, instead of dragging the hose across the drive it is right where it should have been 60 years ago.
They did a fine job and cleaned up their mess after each day. Very respectful workers. Very good craftsmanship. Use these guys. They are wonderful. They will be my first call next time. Everyone was very nice. They even wave at you from their trucks.

Our plumber was arrogant and overtly sexist. I think he was a good plumber, but sloppy in the details. He installed a new faucet for us (a lot of work was done by his assistant, who was constantly running back and forth to fetch things from the truck. The plumber never once said to "thank you" or "please" to him, and just bossed him around.) Right after they left, I tried pulling out the hose from the faucet and it wouldn't retract back - they hadn't even checked to see if their installation worked.
The plumber came to fix the problem free of charge the next day. At first he looked at the problem and then said: "it's not fixable, you need a new faucet." (This, after we had just paid him to install it the previous day!) I asked him "why?" He said "could you please call your husband?" I asked "Why?" He said "I don't think you would understand the problem." Wow.
It was clear I knew little about sinks. But my husband knows as little, or less, than I do. The plumber had also met my dad, who clearly knew more than I did about sinks. But he didn't ask me to call my dad, which would have been logical - we were in my parent's house, fixing my dad's sink. He asked me to call my husband! I called my dad, who wasn't available, so the plumber explained the problem to me.
It was easily understandable, and I suggested some solutions. He didn't take my recommendations, but he did say he'd look at it a little more. And he did fix the problem. He forgot to plug the sink disposal back in when he left. So, overall - the work was fine and the plumber was a nice person, just arrogant and sexist. If you go with this company, be sure to check their work and review all the details before they leave.
