Marty and his son, Patrick, did two bathroom renovations for us last summer. We discovered a major leak on our way out of town. They came over right away to check it out and give us the bad news: there was a flaw in the original construction and the wall had rotted. Every step of the inspection was photo documented, and they took the time to show me just how bad it was.
The estimates (before my changes) were spot on. They were trustworthy, honest, reliable and skilled. They gave me multiple options to save money, and were patient with my many (many, many) indecisive moments. They were great advocates with the stone company we used, and made sure I got what was promised. They also came back last minute to re-seal the quartz deck top and tub, when the stone company didn't do it right and couldn't send anyone for several days. They do beautiful work- the before and after says it all! We would definitely recommend them, and will use them again. Thanks you guys!

A++ Service from MOD Plumbing. Super nice guys, fast response time and honest prices. Don't look any further for a local plumber, Marty and his son, Patrick, are the best. My thirteen year-old water heater broke and these guys replaced it the next day. Leaky outdoor faucet, replaced within 48 hours. It feels great to know MOD Plumbing will answer the call. Thanks MOD!

Super reliable, upfront, and friendly. These guys are the plumbers I use whenever I need any work done. I had a crack in my sewer line going into my house. Long story short. After getting quotes from other companies. These guys were half the price, got the job done in a timely manner and got it done right. These guys are the real deal!

I needed some faucets and fixtures installed in my Condo and I was on the lookout for a quick fix. My friend recommended M.O.D. Plumbing for me. I got their number and set up a time with them to come out the next day. Marty and Patrick were extremely friendly and efficient. I had them go over and fix some things at my Parents place a few weeks later since they did a spot on job with my requests. Thanks Gents!

MOD Plumbing have won me forever and given I bought a "project house" they will be coming back again and again as we work through our house room by room. For the first job I had them quote along with 2 other plumbers and they were right on pricing wise (within $200 of the other quotes). They won me over with their owner operator team and clear knowledge.
I felt like I was being told the truth with issues they pointed out and not being upsold extra's, this was later confirmed by the other quotes. Not only was the first batch of work done on time, on budget and to spec the next job was exactly the same - they showed up on the day promised promptly on time and finished the work with a smile - not normal in the trades which I can attest to after having a never ending string of subcontractors through my house.
The first job they did for our inlaw unit putting in a gas line for the new washer and dryer, installing a new bathroom vanity sink and faucet plus the kitchen sink, faucet and dishwasher and gas range. Everything worked perfectly first use and they were tidy on the job, another abnormal service extra that most don't manage to accomplish. The second job was to replace my leaking pipe at the front of my house which every neighbour, visitor and passer by felt the need to tell me about plus we decided to upgrade the hot water pipes as the old ones were supposedly in bad shape and after using them for a month with crap water pressure and the unfun toilet flush taking all the water from the shower we decided it to go for it.
Boy were we glad we did it made a MASSIVE difference - no more flushing ruining someone else's shower. And for the price we would have paid it twice given the difference. But back to MOD they again showed up on time, were conscientious, finished on time and left me smiling. Not my typical experience and such a welcome relief to know I have a plumber I can call and trust to work on my house!

Professionalism, efficiency, reliability, and hard work no matter how $#!TTY the situation. MOD responded quickly to our query, provided a very thorough and honest assessment of our situation, and successfully completed the job. What we appreciated most (although we appreciated everything they did) was their universal outlook of our dilemma.meaning they didn't just address the immediate issue at hand by placing a plug (or bandaid), but rather guided us how to permanently solve our plumbing issue to avoid further damage in the near future. Jennifer L. is right, they are a bit more expensive than the other cheap plumbers I contacted, but in the end, when it comes to our home cheap just doesn't cut it, but rather quality work and MOD delivered just that.

MOD has been my go to plumber for a couple of years now. From my old SF apartment to my (new) old east bay craftsman, they've handled all of my (non clogged drain related) issues. From installing new fixtures (sinks, faucets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, etc), to earthquake straps for the water heater and moving water and gas lines around when I redid my laundry room, they have handled all of it quickly and expertly. Yes, they are a little bit more expensive than the super cheap guy who underbids everyone to get the job, but I know that I'm getting the job done correctly so it won't need to be redone in two years, and I know that if something goes wrong I can count on them to come out and make it right (versus some of those other guys who can never be found again once they've gotten paid).
They are always very friendly, and if they make a recommendation or a suggestion, I don't feel like they're just trying to find something else to sell me on. I know they also do a lot of new construction work on homes and businesses as well. But they don't unclog drains, that's up to me and Mr. Plumbr.
