Services
We are licensed and trained professionals that offer the highest quality plumbing repair service. When you see a Ty's Plumbing van, you can be assured that your water heater issues, piping problems, water/gas leaks, clogged drains, and sluggish sewer lines will be repaired according to local and state specifications.
It's very important that you leave your home if you smell natural gas (odor is similar to sulfur or rotten egg). Once away from your home, contact your natural gas service provider. They'll send someone to your home to shut off the gas supply. Natural gas can ignite when it collects in a confined space. It only takes a small spark to create an explosion!
Most kitchen and bath plumbing systems don't get the attention of a homeowner until there's a problem with kitchen faucets or they need a water closet repair. That's too bad, because most plumbing problems can be detected early and fixed faster with regular inspections in the Kitchen and Bath. Ty is a licensed Master plumber, and is an expert at leak detection in your home plumbing system as well as the gas lines. He looks for signs of things that could become problems.
Ty's Plumbing also specializes in servicing hot water systems. Standard water heaters and tankless water heaters can provide comfort and energy savings if installed and working properly. Hot water circulation systems and pumps can be great for the kitchen or any other area that needs hot water fast.

Ty was highly recommended by friends. They said his work was meticulous and done right the first time. They warned us that he wasn't cheap, but was worth it. We subsequently hired him to replace two bathroom faucets and a kitchen faucet for our hot water dispenser. While changing the kitchen faucet, he noticed a slow leak in the tank. When he finished the job, the areas were cleaner than before! As my friend said, he was fairly expensive, but we'll worth it.

Hired to install a gas lamp on patio, let them know I had a meeting I had to attend (virtually), so they would have to talk to my daughter if there were any questions. Within 15 minutes they were knocking very loudly on my back door, I had to step away from my meeting and come downstairs to see what the issue was. Not the plumbers fault, but they wanted a support structure built for the gas lamp, and had no recommendation on who could do this. Frustrating considering this could have been determined over the phone before setting the appointment.
I was left with no solution and no recommendation, just that the work couldn't be done. To top it off, I was charged $100 for the call, all 15 minutes of it. Very disappointing to say the least.

I don't write many reviews, but I had a complicated tankless water heater replacement and was impressed with the attention to detail in solving the problem, protecting our floors and explaining how to extend the life of the new water heater. The plumber, his assistant and the scheduler were all very helpful Service: Boiler installation

When we got power back during the "Texas Freeze" we realised we had a leak in our 1st floor ceiling. We shut the water off and called Ty, he got to us a couple of hours later and repaired the leak. When we turned the water back on we realised we had another. This happened 17 times. ( Not a misprint, 17) He stayed till they were all fixed, about 11pm. If I could give more that 5stars I would. Courteous, clean work and professional.

Ty is a master plumber, and he knows plumbing like no other. He does beautiful "very neat" work, if you can call plumbing "beautiful". I deal with a lot of plumbers in my business, and he is at the top of my list. He even came to repair an emergency water leak for me recently on a Saturday morning, the same day he was planning his own father's memorial service and hosting out-of-town family. Although the job took several hours, he and his assistant Marshall stayed until it was fully repaired.

Took over a week to schedule service on our front porch gas lamps-but he did call ahead and show up when said he would. Did some inspecting and basically changed the tips that were clogged. Spent about 40min. Fiddled with the photocells that I don't think ever worked. anyhow, was pleased with the service until I received a bill for $400. FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for 2 new LP nozzles ($120) and 40min labor ($250?!?).
Maybe I missed my calling as a $250/hr plumber. Lights work fine for now, but in hindsight could have probably replaced the tips ($12ea Home Depot). REPLY: TWO HOURS OF LABOR? WAS THAT BECAUSE OF THE DRIVE TIME AND THERE WERE TWO TECHNICIANS THAT SPENT 45MIN? SINCE I WAS THERE THE ENTIRE TIME, I KNOW FOR SURE NOT TWO HOURS. MUST NEED TO CHARGE SO MUCH FOR THE NICE CUSTOM TRUCK?

I had a water heater pilot light go out. Ty was prompt to come out. He reset the thermal switch and relighted the pilot light and charged me about $100 for Two minuets of work. Fine and Dandy. However, he did not diagnose why the pilot light keeps going out. So now we have to reset the thermal switch every time we need to shower. Ty is probably a good plumber, but is to busy to fool around with small task. Now, I have to fix the darn thing myself or find someone who can complete the task.

I had an emergency water main break to my house. I called Ty's Plumbing and left a message asking them to call me back. They called back within 15 minutes and there were plumbers at my house within 30 minutes of their return call. The men were professional and courteous. They looked like they had been working, which to me is a good sign! They were here for a couple of hours and took care of our problem!
What impressed me the most was that I was expecting to pay around $500, but I only paid $200! Not only did they get someone out here quick, they didn't gouge my eyes out through my pocketbook and they did the job well, efficiently and professionally! I'm definitely calling them again if I ever need a plumber!
