Plus - Quick Same Day Service. Negative- The cost seemed very expensive ($600 dollars) and a lot of time (90 mins) to replace a PVC water pipe fitting that was already dug out in my yard. Probably wouldn't use again.

Bought a house a year ago and Pete's Plumbing has come out to help us with everything from a leaky toilet, new faucets, and a PRV. They definitely know what they are doing and we won't ever use another plumber!

Overcharges and claims his credit card reader is broken so you have to pay cash. Kept trying to testify to my husband. Very unprofessional. Will never call him again, and I advise that no one else uses him, either. What a crook, and what he fixed is already leaking again.

I honestly didn't have a problem with their quote of $3000 to replace a water heater & a spigot on the wall in my horse's stable. When we agreed to their quote, it was a week before the repair was done & included a phone call from them the night before asking if they could come do the repair the following week. Our water heater was already failing & leaking & with the pending freezing temps, it was only a matter of time before it failed completely & we had lost a week already.

So they showed up to do the work on a Friday at 3pm. Granted, the new water heater is in my barn & although sheltered, it is outdoors. But covering the new water heater with white plastic & taping it up in a zillion places with black duct tape that is now all peeling off, may be functional but is not exactly what I would call attractive. The spigot that was replaced sticks out 2 inches from the wall & exposes the pipe to dirt & the elements & both of these things need to be finished correctly.

The best they could offer me was for the guy (with the bad attitude that did this crappy work), to come back and re-do it. So now I've spent another $500 to purchase a water heater insulator that doesn't require using duct tape & to correctly insulate the water spigot where I had to cut & stain a piece of lumber to fill up the gap in the wall.

After several attempts to contact them about a refund to cover those costs, they keep giving me excuses about how they're so busy & will get back with me. It's been two weeks now & I'm giving up. They may be super nice people but the quality of their work & their customer service is just not good.

My husband was referred to Pete's when our preferred plumber was booked. We had a noisy recirculating pump attached to hot water heater. The plumber did arrive on time and was courteous but charged us $495 to unplug the pump from the outlet and adjusted our water pressure. When questioned on the price stayed a new pump is $700 + just for the part. That's crazy overpriced. Neighbors paid $400-$450 for a new pump installed. A new pump at Lowe's is $299. Felt really ripped off.

I had a water hammer issue. Called Pete's. Came out timely, then charged me $408.00 which was the installation of a water hammer arrestor under the sink, then apparently two behind the washer and dryer. Didn't fix the problem at all. So I called back, at which point I was instructed to go to Home Depot and fix it myself. So I did, spent 5 hours and another $60 securing pipes.

Which fixed half the problem. While at Home Depot I noticed that the same water hammer arrestors they installed were about half the price at Home Depot that Pete's charged me. So for $200 in labor for what was about 50 minutes of very slow work and a 200-300% markup on parts, they made out with what I'm sure was a huge profit and literally didn't fix anything.

So I called back, and to their credit a guy came out, spent no time looking at the issue, told me I needed another $500 in repairs to change the canisters in the guest bathroom, and called it a day. Needless to say we are calling another plumber to try to fix the problem.

Woke up this morning to no water in the house due to our main water line had busted during the night. We phoned a couple of plumbers who couldn't respond today, then called Pete's Plumbing based on their ratings. My husband spoke with Loretta who realized the jam we were in and she jumped into action. She had a plumber, Mike, at our house within a couple of hours.

My husband had already dug a huge ditch and found the break, then Mike repaired the broken pipe for a very fair and reasonable price.this was a very dirty job; the wet heavy clay/mud was all over the place. We are so appreciative of their professionalism and getting this fixed for us so quickly. Thank you Loretta, Mike and Pete's Plumbing! You were a lifesaver! Highly recommend Pete's Plumbing and they will be our go to plumber from here on out! Vivian and Bob Vance

Try anybody other than Pete's plumbing, or at least get an estimate from another company first. I was over charged for two extremely easy fixes. They just want a quick buck and no return customers. When Mike was here, he was professional he kept telling me he charges $175.00 per hour plus parts, next thing I know I am paying him $473.32. It is a crime to charge someone $208.32 for snaking a toilet without even removing the toilet! And, I was charged $265.00 for replacing a ball value on top of my water heater, ridiculous!

Another plumber returned my call a few hours after Mike left, I explained what was done and I was quoted $200 less for the exact same thing. Later I called Pete's Plumbing office and wanted to discuss the charges. Even though very professional they would not budge or negotiate on the fees. I guess they do not mind losing my future project that I proposed to Mike that they would have at least netted them $5000.00+ their loss not mine.

Gary Fredenberg, the plumber, did a wonderful job fixing kitchen sink leak and went above & beyond to correct a poor installation so this issue would not resurface in the future.

Needed a frost free hydrant installed. I have installed 3 myself. Because of 3 fractured vertebrae I was not not able to install this one. After being informed as to how difficult and timely a job like this could be, I told plumber to proceed. In less than an 1 hour and 40 minutes the job was completed and I was billed $650.00. If I subtract the cost of materials Pete's earned $350.00 +/_ per hour. That's more that my doctor and my lawyer charge. I have work in and around the trades for 5 decades and have never known of such an exorbitant charge. What a rip off.

Excellent experience with PP. From a pleasant scheduling experience with Debra.she got me in the same day I called, to a super plumber named Tim who was as great with my dogs as he was fixing the mundane small various issues I had. I appreciate a company that shows up on time and fixes what they commit to fix. A+

Water heater went south after 15 years. Pete's was busy but was able schedule us within two days. Professional and clean installation. Not cheap but done right the first time. You get what you pay for. Have used them in the past for kitchen disposer and faucet install. Always friendly and great work. We will definitely call them first for any future needs.

Pete's Plumbing is awesome! Yesterday my hot water heater broke and starting leaking all over the basement. I was devastated. I looked around and found Pete's Plumbing. Within about an hour, the team at Pete's plumbing was at my house and handled everything with professionalism and excellence and at a very fair price. If you live in Atlanta and need a Plumber that will deliver for you, look no further than Pete's Plumbing. They will take care of you. What an awesome company! Highly, highly recommended. THANK YOU!

Will not stand by their work. Have been out here twice for the same issue and want to charge us another extremely high service fee to diagnose the same problem they have looked at twice. Don't waste your time with Pete's Plumbing, there are far better plumbers out there that will guarantee their work

I will never call anyone else! Everyone I spoke to was so kind and professional and knowledgeable. They never wavered on their pricing. There were no hidden costs, everything was explained up front. I had numerous estimates from many companies. No one came close to their costs not to mention the customer service! I had a new water heater within hours and I could not be happier!

I suspected my garbage disposal was at the end of its life-span. My parents had used Pete's when they lived in the area, and I saw the good Google reviews, so I gave them a call. They were prompt to come out at look at my problem. I actually went to Costco and bought a disposal to have him put in to save some $$$. He told me it was too large for the space (which I suspected, but I'm not like obviously not a plumming pro or I wouldn't even be writing this review).

He then tried to up-sell me to a disposal with a higher torque; I said, "No - I'll take the same kind I have, as it has lasted 13 years." Maybe I'm playing the defense, but I thought this guy just thought I was some young chick with a fishtail braid so he could financially take advantage of me. The installation and everything went fine. Then I went to pay.

That is when things went south. It is almost 2017, so OF COURSE I was going to pay with a credit card. I mean, come on. Here's how the convo went: Me - "You take American Express, right?" Service guy - "Yeah, but its a 5% charge." Me - "Excuse you?! Well, I also have Visa; I'll use that." SG - "All credit cards are a 5% charge." Me - handing him back the AMEX (gotta work on that cash back!) "Well, this is what you get today." Nowhere - NOWHERE - on their website does it specify there is 5% charge for using a credit card. Like, I teach school, so it's not like a carry Benjamins on me to make it rain, but I DO pay all my bills on time and have no CC debt.

Just an FYI if you consider using them. AND. This is a violation of the Dodd-Frank Act. I am currently disputing this with my credit card company. I should have known when their address came up on Google as "Justin Trail". My ex-boyfriend's name and that didn't end well. Again, we are DAYS from 2017, and unless you want to dust off your checkbook like it's 1977, don't call Pete's. You're welcome.

We called on Wednesday at 4pm with a plumbing problem, Gary was here at 7am the next morning, thanks Pete's! In addition to being family owned and operated, the quick service and expertise is why you should call Pete's. Don't waste your time with the big companies that take your call at a call center and have to dispatch someone for $89 to give you a quote, go with Pete's Plumbing.

Update on my review, I had the work completed for $100, all that was needed was the washers replaced, not the valves Pete's was trying to replace, stay away!

Do not use this company. Came to my home to do outside work on sewage issues. Left broken sewage pipes on ground (5) left open the manhole used for the town on property uncapped, broke light fixtures, left my electric cables all over the yard without rewinding them and putting them back. Left mud all over my driveway without doing a wash/cleanup. Nice Christmas present. NOT! Sub-contractors came to my neighbors yard and without permission started to dig up their yard. Slimy, terrible, unprofessional I wish Seagraves Plumbing was able to do the job. Top notch.

We were new to the area and needed a plumber to replace the 15 year old gas water heater in the home that we purchased. After checking the BBB and other rating sites, we chose Pete's Plumbing. Top notch job, price was the same as the internet special as advertised (even though he had to isntall an overflow tank to bring the unit up to code).it is so nice to find a plumber that we will definitely be using for future needs!
