We called and they saw us in such a quick turnaround! We didn't have an emergency situation, but they fit us in within their next day when others had told me it would be a 3-5 week wait. They identified the issue and fixed it quickly! They were also friendly when scheduling and when at our home for service.

When I made my appointment I told them it was a mobile home and was told nothing about we do not work on mobile homes. I had to call to see where they were at 25 min after my appointment time. They tell us after they get here they do not work on mobile homes. Now I have to try and get someone else to do the work. Then telling me I'm not going to work or my daughter. Not professional and will not tell you anything up front about what they will do.

I called them on a Saturday to unclog a drain in the sink. We have a seven person family and we couldn't wait until Monday. I spoke to the calling service, they connected me to the on-call plumber, once I told him what was going on he told me he wasn't gonna be coming out this weekend. This was the on-call plumber, I had agreed to the rates of time and a half. Seriously unprofessional. You should really consider going to one of the smaller outfits, Action Mechanical is apparently too big for the small jobs.

Tech spent 4 hours replacing every part he could think of, then pointed his finger to the gas regulator. Call Gas company, as they cannot touch this part of the system. Ugh. Two days later, that tech has no problems. Heater fires up. All seems well. I get into house four hours later - furnace has been running continually. Call Action back for follow up.
Wait 2 more days, you know, until the blizzard is in full swing. Original tech left a test jumper connected = continual run. Also notified that original issue of pulsing flame was ALWAYS an issue with the gas regulator breathing properly through it's extended vent, or air intake/exhaust pipes. Fast forward two days: furnace is back to exactly same issue.
Call for after hours service - do we want help tonight (Friday) or wait til Monday? Nevermind. I'll deal with it. They all said the vent tube on the gas valve or the air intake is always the issue, yet no one felt ambitious enough to investigate. I disassembled said airways, and literally had 2 cups of water pour out of the exhaust. Turns out, a bumble bee crawled in, died, and rested precisely where the condensation could flow out, effectively disabling entire system. Now, I get to wait for an invoice for 4 hours labor and a stack of unnecessary parts to pay for.
Bottom Line: The techs new exactly where to look, but since things seemed okay at the moment, they marched out to their trucks, hung out for an hour and a quarter (it was only 4pm ) to apparently run out the time clock. Good grief. Would you call these people for help after this episode? I certainly will never make that mistake again.

Absolutely terrible ethics for business, I got billed for 1.5 hours and they did a 20 minute repair. I asked to pay for the full one hour because its common to be charged at a base rate for 1 hour minimum, I do not recommend this company at all. The guy did good work and was nice. On the other hand we got highly over charged, they are a bunch of crooks. Charging extra for work time they did not put in.

This company billed me multiple times for the same service and never resolved the issue. I had to contact a different company to fix it and every time action arrived for the issue they would have to employees and charge both employees rates but couldn't fix the issue. When I asked about the relevance for the last bill they said I waited months to call them back which I did not. Their team was late more than 50% of the visits and I had to wait for available time to take off to meet them. Do not recommend their company

Coming from a Dental Office here in town, we have used Action Mechanical a few times for our mechanical needs, so I though it was time to write this review. This group has always been great with us! They are fast, efficient, and we always know what we're paying before. I highly recommend them if you want the job done right and fast. THANK YOU ACTION MECHANICAL!
