I am a single female and a new homeowner in Maryland who is very skeptical about acquiring any type of services. Thankfully, I was very impressed with the services provided by Gary with Jiffy and will definitely call them again- whenever needed. Gary was very knowledgeable, attentive and made sure to explain everything he was doing & why. I highly recommend this company.especially Gary!

I have waited for nearly 2 months for Jiffy to complete the back flow, meter and submeter installation required to operate a new sprinkler system at my house. First, they blamed the problem on WSSC inspectors. Today, a new WSSC inspector came to say that they installed the wrong size meter. The company charged me nearly $6000 for a project that should have been completed within a week or two.
And two months after they first showed up, I still can't water the lawn. I lost plantings that were put in during a dry October and November because of this failing. I am requesting a refund from Jiffy due to their repeated failure to execute on what should be a simple project. I strongly recommend against using this company. DL

I called to request a free in-home estimate for a 50 gallon A.O. Smith gas water heater. The technician (Justin) came out as scheduled, did an inspection, discussed all that needed to be done, and quoted a price of $2100. The water heater was leaking prior to scheduling him to come out and I disclosed that information upon scheduling. He and the company were aware that this would be priority installation.
He said that he would have the estimate to me within the day ( it was a Saturday.) Not only did I not receive an estimate, but I had to reach out to him come the following Monday. Once I received the estimate, it was over $800 more. When I asked him about it, he cited some lame excuse about pricing going up over the weekend. Its sounded shady or either just plain old, bad customer service. I'm now looking elsewhere for services.

I've used Jiffy for years, at my old home in DC and now at my new home in Virginia, and have always been pleased, but this last visit exceeded my expectations. The plumber, Thine, found and fixed two leaks in the primary bathroom that were unfixable for over a year! He was able to finally solve a headache and did it quickly and professionally.

Exceptional company. I have worked with Jiffy for over a year to replace ancient water and sewer lines, modify ductwork, install A/C plus a new split system. Several things make Jiffy stand out:
1) A full service company that can take care of pipes, plumbing and HVAC. Any project Jiffy does has an experienced core team plus supervisors so you dont feel forgotten after you sign a contract.
2)The commitment of each employee to complete the job even if it means working late into the night (Oscar stayed to 2AM on July 4th to fix an A/C unit problem). Jiffy employees, most of whom have been with the company 10 years or more, stay with a problem until its fixed.
3) Determination to do whatever it takes to fix a problem.
Recently Pete came in to help diagnose what first appeared to be a furnace pump problem followed by Shaun and Jeff who identified the condensate pipe. Since the pipe sat behind a brand new bulkhead I had visions of drywall and dust everywhere in my brand new apartment.
4) Staff work as a team to find the best possible solution. And they keep the customer well informed.
Each member of Kareems HVAC team had suggestions on how to fix the problem and he listened. The result was clean cuts to expose the pipe and a fully functioning furnace without a lot of mess. This was not the easiest solution for them but it was the best solution for me.

Exceeded expectation! Had a dying furnace that needed to be replaced. Have an aunt that I take care of who has respiratory and other health issues. Contacted Magnolia, John C Flood, who either didn't call back or didn't have anyone available with no amends. Jiffy's adjuster made a special trip to write an estimate and take the deposit to get the ball rolling. Estimator stayed late and called around 2200 to see if someone would be available in the morning to begin.
Service technician Trevor and helper Daryl had the old furnace removed and the new one in by cob. The following morning service technician Wilson and Daryl arrived to install the final connections. Customer service is A++! Technicians were accommodating, respectful, neat and efficient to boot! Put down extra padding to protect my hardwood floors and cleaned up as they worked. Immensely satisfied with the process from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I just had the most amazing service from Chris Mills. He came in to connect our fridge line. He noticed something funky with our brand new fridge. He immediately took control of the situation with our warranty company for our new fridge. He lead the conversation so no details were missed and we got the right part ordered. Even my son loved him! We have a bizarre mystery problem with our septic, and while these guys were not able to fully resolve it, they did a pretty thorough investigation with a camera (and gave us a well labeled copy of the video!), gave suggestions on who to contact, and provided a wealth of expert advice and information that I think gave us good progress toward an eventual fix.
