Service Oil Company was founded in 1922 by Julius Aronson and his son Lewis. Raphael Aronson, the current CEO, is the son of Lewis, and has served in that position since 1961. Originally located at the intersection of Cameron and Paxton Streets, Service Oil moved to its current location at 3798 Paxton Street in 1952 where it operated a bulk plant with a storage capacity of over 1.5 million gallons of heating oil. When it was founded, Service Oil operated one gasoline service station and delivered kerosene to homes for use in space heaters.

Exceptional service and highly recommended. I am a new home owner and made several calls to other companies for a service appointment for my furnace. SOC was the 3rd company I called and they showed up and fixed my issue before the 2 other companies even called me to schedule an appointment. Someone was at my house within 2 hours, answered all my questions, fixed my issue, and even topped off my oil tank. Thanks, Mike!

A/C wasn't working in a house I just purchased. Found this company's info and meticulous records of servicing near the unit. This company had serviced the unit for over 10 years. Googled and read 24/7 service on their website - great! Called and was told that since I'm a new customer they won't even "page" anyone to help. Called another 24/7 company and they gave me no problems.
Never plan to try dealing with this company in the future. Shame, as the prior owner appeared to have a good relationship with them for a decade. Sorry I bought the house and thought I could rely on them too?

These guys are great and affordable! They are very customer oriented and polite. We purchased a new home and they got out right away the same week to do a brief inspection and to give us a refill on propane the next day. I am very pleased with this company so far. If this changes I'll leave another review. DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The worse customer Service ever and incompetent HVAC system designers and service technicians. Had a HVAC system installed by them in 2014 and have had problems every single winter of NO HEAT. They have been here so many times for this same problem it's ridiculous. Each time they came, they would get the heat working, only to have the same. problem happen in the next few days.
They would come back over and over and over again. They replaced switches and circuit boards and other parts. When none of that worked they finally had the manufacturer of the furnace come. They say they implemented a solution but won't say what was done. That was at the end of last heating season and the.

I wouldn't recommend this outfit. They sell heating oil as Best Price Oil and I've had issues with them spilling oil on my landscaping and lawn. They're running a $99 furnace cleaning special so I had an appointment scheduled with them today from noon to 2PM. They didn't show but called afterwards and said they could come later but couldn't give me a time. Then the dispatcher was rude. Wow! What a terrible outfit. Save yourself the trouble and use a professional company. I'm not using them for oil again obviously.

We have been satisfied Service Oil Company customers for many years. Oil burner service and oil delivery is outstanding. Technicians take care when servicing our furnace and leave the area clean when work is complete. Customer service department responds quickly, always in a pleasant manner. Nothing is too much trouble. We would recommend them to anyone.

Moved into new rental old tenant let the oil run out. Called this company explained had 3 small kids and no heat needed emergency oil delivery because of the situation was out of my control. Was pretty much told no way they could help and was told to call around. Shows how they care about possible customers. Literally just drive a truck and pump oil not hard.
