Omg! I don't even know we're to start, first I want to say hertle plumbing came to my business and executed the job to its perfection and very fare, honest and affordable. They came in and took care of the job ASAP, they also provided the materials at a affordable prize so I dint even have to go out my way and get it. Also the employees was very respectful, responsive and on time which is very important and also I have to add that the owner of this place is an amazing person, fare, humble and very honest, I felt super comfortable and rite away I knew I was in good hands, I will definitely stay in touch for any of my plumbing needs and will only refer hertle plumbing to my family and friends. They play no games and get the job done professionally and I love that I wish I had better pictures to show.

It was OK. I wish the plumber had used a different tool on my fixture than the one he did. He left visual marks on a vintage fixture.

I have done over $80K worth of work with Hertel and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are highly skilled and fast at a reasonable price. When I call them with issues, they are quick to fix it at a fair price. Kelly, Tony and the whole crew are awesome!

We have used Hertel Hardware on 3 separate occasions ( an estimate for work, emergency shower faucet repair and furnace and central air installation). Tony makes you feel like family. His team is highly professional- always courteous, prompt, communicative about the process, and meticulous. They have been beyond fair in pricing of services and also in addressing our needs expediently. I am so happy with their work and will continue to use them.

I have used H H & P for the last two years as my plumbing sub contractor. They are always on time, their work is incredibly accurate and clean. Their office staff is always energetic, helpful and fun to talk to as well.

Second time using them, can't say enough good things. Were able to service within a day of my call. Do a great job with everything they do, and at a fraction of what some of the national chains charge. I called for some help with my shower, and they ended up tightening up some pipes in my basement, and helped with my leaking washing machine all without me asking and without charging me extra, and my shower which probably hasn't been serviced in 50+ years is working like new. Will use these guys for any plumbing issue I have!

Keith and Kyle arrived at my parents house to replace the furance and dehumidifier. The first thing that impressed was that they immediately laid down a drop cloth to protect my parent's flooring. When they had to go to the truck to retrieve a part or tool, they did so quietly and did not leave the door ajar but closed it quietly behind them.

They were efficient and so polite and patient when my parents asked questions. When they completed the job, they cleaned up after themselves and made themselves available to my parents regarding any additional questions they had. They explained everything that they did and how to maintain the furace and dehumidifier for maximum efficiency. They were very accommodating and respectful in appearance and speech. I highly recommend them.

If you want to have a washing machine hose cleaned out for $200. Be sure to call them, otherwise find a reputable Company for your plumbing needs!

Had slow hot water leak in the shower faucet. Charged $800 and left the building with no hot water for a week and a large hole in the wall. Best part is the hot and cold water run simultaneously whenever the shower is on now. Worst plumber ever, I will never use them again.

Great place! Both of our toilets were not working and our kitchen sink was leaking. They explained everything they did. Fixed it within an hour. GREAT price. My husband went into the shop to buy a new part for our dishwasher. It was cash only and he only had a card. The part was $2.50. The guy said take it and come back and pay me Monday (we of course did). Excellent customer service. We haven't had much need for a plumber before but definitely will use again and recommend to anyone who needs one!

Couldn't have asked for a more professional, courteous staff. They answered all of my questions and explained everything they did. Also, incredibly reasonable prices. I have dealt with other plumbers before. I won't call anyone else for my plumbing needs in the future. Jordan and his partner are the best!

They have a thief that works for them named Chris Shilling. And after all the facts that prove he is a theif they still continue to keep him employed because they need the man power. I Wouldn't recommend them for any work especially if he's doing work in your home.

We had a small drip in the bathroom tub, not an emergency. We called at the end of last week and got an appointment for today (Tuesday) and were given the window of between 11-1. A very personable young man showed up at 10:50 and got right to work. He looked professional with a Hertle Hardware polo on. He took his work boots off at the door and got right to work.

The whole job took about 15 minutes, he showed me the part he replaced and explained everything to me. I felt that they charge a fair price and do honest work. We would definitely use them again.

I know the business name is "Hertel Hardware, " but they do quite a bit more than just sell tools. For years and years, Hertel Hardware has been my family's source for our plumbing needs. I can plumbers visiting to snake pipes, drain our basement, repair a line out to the street. Agh. Since my buddy bought a property that I've helped manage, I've had to call them myself to deal with frozen pipes, clogged pipes, and recently the diagnosis of whatever the heck was going on that resulted in some severe water damage in the kitchen ceiling.

The plumbers who showed up have been personable and professional, explaining each step they were taking, what the causes of the issue are, and what maintenance solutions could be taken to prevent recurrence of said issues in the future. In other words, they've successfully dispelled most of the mystery that so often veils the sphere of plumbing.

Most of the times I have needed to call them out have been for emergencies, and they really accommodate such emergencies pretty well, oftentimes pushing and reordering less urgent calls in order to do so. The downside of this practice is that if you are a less urgent call, you can find yourself waiting longer than you expected. When calling to schedule an appointment, you receive a window, not a fixed time. much like Time Warner Cable. Billing is transparent and is now accomplished on site via smartphone, which I do appreciate. Mario and Luigi might still be my favorite set of plumbers, but Hertel Hardware isn't far behind.

Sent here from another hardware store for a part. Walking into this store (on Hertel between Traymore and Commonwealth), which I have likely passed a 100 times over the years without going in, could be a little overwhelming. It is crammed full of things. Pretty much anything hardware related is in here somewhere I'm sure. Since I was sent there from the True Value around the corner on Delaware needing a part for a sink drain, I think they may carry more in the drain and drain related parts than the other hardware store did.

It looks like they do. This is a case where I am waaay out of my element but trying to buy some things needed for a sink. Second store I have been to for a part. The guy was super nice to me (hence the 4th star), even though it was clear I was in over my head. If you know what you are doing this is the store for you. Its crammed full of all sorts of hardware related things. If, like me, you are not as experienced in this area, and you happen to get the owner to help you, he will do his best. Its local on Hertel, and a mom & pop, you cant beat that. Street parking.
