The pipes in your home are built to perform for several decades. However, it doesn't mean they can't leak or break before their lifespan is up. Over time, the pipes will erode, rust, and decay. Unless those pipes are replaced your home will be flooded with water or raw sewage which will cause thousands of dollars in damages.

Dana and Tristan were fantastic plumbers and a great team! They were extremely knowledgeable, prefessional and courteous. Our leaking faucet was repaired as promised without surprises. This is the third time we have utilized Cloverdale Plumbing's services with extremely positive outcomes and we will always look to them for our future plumbing needs.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink. Valve was worn. Cloverdale Plumbing fit us into their unscheduled visits that same day. After the plumber had left, I noticed the next morning that he had installed the base plate backwards on our dishwasher. I called the 24/7 hour telephone number of Cloverdale and they were going to send a plumber out to fix that. "Garrett" then left me a voicemail on my cell asking "do you still need me?".
No one had even come by yet! I called "Garrett" back and he was curt, rude and hung up on me when I said goodbye. He showed up 45 minutes later and did not say anything having a bad attitude the entire time. I had to go into the kitchen to see if he was done and he was just standing there and said "you need to sign this invoice"! I said I was going to check the baseplate first to see if it was working fine.
There was still a bit of noise and tautness when opening the dishwasher door. I asked him about it and he was again curt with me in his responses. Garrett said "he could cut the plastic (which I assume is insulation) and I said leave it. So did my husband. Garrett cut the plastic anyway after we both left the kitchen. No response when he left. And, he did not leave us a copy of the work order for our records.
A very rude and unprofessional individual who obviously did not either want to work on a Saturday or doesn't like his job. We will not be using this company again because of one individual. Caveat: Stephanie and Lindsey, the 2 scheduling ladies, are Awesome! Very nice, professional and accommodating to customers!

We had a water softener installed by Cloverdale 9 months ago. They follow-up every 3 months for the first year to check hardness and refill with salt. They have been great to work with and each of the technicians/plumbers that have come out are polite, efficient, and provide great customer service answering questions. They were a little more expensive than some bids we got, but they have a good reputation and their service is excellent. Dana was here today and also provided the same quality service as we've received in the past.

I was pleasantly surprised that Cloverdale Plumbing was able to have someone at my house, change plans from repairing an old toilet to installing a new one and done in less than 3 hours. From phone call to done! Incredible! Thanks to Danap for excellent service and a bonus discount! Much appreciated! Service: Toilet installation

Dana fixed the leak we had going under our kitchen sink. He was able to bring the pipes up to code (we didn't even know that didn't meet code). He was very personable and took the time to educate me on how to take better care of our plumbing. I would highly recommend him! Services: Plumbing pipe repair, Plumbing leak detection

I had someone come to give me a bid on a tankless hot water heater. I felt like he talked down to me and seemed like he was trying to talk me out of it. Regardless, I was told he'd email me the bid later that day. I wrote down my email address for him. 3 days went by without the bid so I called to ask about it. The gal I spoke to said she would talk to him and have him reach out.
She verified my email address. The bid never came. I wasn't about to follow up further when they obviously didn't want my business. We went with another company and are very happy with the tankless hot water heater. We had done quite a bit of research to begin with, despite his attempt to talk me out of it.

I needed two shut-off valves replaced under my kitchen sink. They said they would be there the next afternoon. no one shows up. I call them to be told they called me three times to reschedule. My phone records show I got one call from an unrelated number, but no message and no text. I agreed to another time the next morning. Again, no show. I called and was told they were just getting out of their morning meeting and could arrive in a few hours. They have a lot of guts asking for $99 just to show up when they can't get there on time - twice. I hope the meeting was important.

Went to change the valve for my kitchen faucet and the galvanized pipe broke inside the valve. Sunday. Halloween, of course. Cloverdale answered the phone at 7am on the weekend and had a plumber call me back within 10 minutes.on my doorstep within another 45 minutes.outstanding! Dana was very professional and knowledgeable with the skills to evaluate and perform the pipe replacement in short order. Crawled under the house to make repair and I really appreciate his cavalier and positive attitude, to him it was no problem.super guy!
I had no problem with the emergency/after hours trip charge and was told of the cost by the dispatcher I spoke with first. The repair was made at a reasonable cost and I wouldn't hesitate to use Cloverdale the next time I need help. I will ask for Dana every time! Thank you Cloverdale Plumbing for turning my Halloween trick into a relieving treat!

Outrageous pricing for a very small repair that took 30 minutes. This company is taking advantage of customers for after hours service. Be careful and get up front estimates if possible, because they will rip you off otherwise. Their customer service contact, Myra, was their only saving grace. She was courteous and understanding. She also gave me a $29.99 discount which was nice but not enough to offset the outrageous cost. Buyer beware of this company!

Extremely Overpriced! Called them out over a month ago, for what ended up being a very expensive line clean out. 2 weeks later, 2nd toilet broke. I only called them again, as I assumed it was part of the original repair (that was quickly dismissed), and since I had purchased their service contract - figured, I would utilize my discount, and no "service call" fee.
The service contract that I was sold, was NOT explained properly - therefore, I was to be charged a trip fee, and receive a discount. After speaking with customer service, they waived the $100 trip fee, however, no discount to be applied. (Which the 2nd service guy already told me that I would get) When you buy their contract - they should give you something in writing, to explain what you are purchasing.
Avoid all communication misunderstandings? This ended up being a very simple fix, however, very expensive (should have been less than $20, in parts - and, I could have YouTube'd it). The work seems to be good - however, the prices and miscommunication are not worth it in the end. Disappointed.

We had a sewer back up from our shower drain. Cloverdale came out at 11pm and snaked the line removing several root intrusions that had created the blockage. This cost around $700. The plumber also scoped the line with a camera and informed us pipes were separating underneath our house. This cost around $300 We had the sewage line foamed with root killer as well This cost around $160.
The plumber proceeded to tell us that we needed to change our sewage and water plumbing throughout our house. Because we are on slab that would require them to tear down our bathrooms and kitchen to the studs and cut into our brand new wood floors and concrete slab throughout the entire house where the sewage plumbing traveled. It was estimated to cost $60,000 - $100,000.
The plumber also suggested we put in two-way cleanout outside the house. We were quoted at $4400 for that. we had our inspector take a look at the scoping video and he informed us we are fine and there's nothinig to do other than perhaps using root killer every 6 months. We paid for another plumbing co to come scope the line and give us an opinion and said the same thing that we are fine and just use root killer / snake the line every 6-12 months. ALSO the OTHER plumbing company found the two-way clean out that already exists on the property.
We appreciated the quick emergency call, felt the price was hefty but whatever. We did not appreciate the attempt for $4400 for a product we already had and $60k scare for work that other experts deemed unnecessary.

Cloverdale Plumbing Thank you so much for sending Riley out to install a new water Heater for us on Thursday afternoon 19th August. Once again, We are a very Happy Customer of 19 years. Riley's work ethics were impeccable, & his customer relations is outstanding! I thanked him for being so patient with my Dad, who is almost 91. Boy it is not an easy job now a days to remove & install a new water heater.
Lots of connections that need to be undone, after you shut off the Water & Gas and drain it. AND removing the old tank is a task in its self. Lots of Plumbers tape put on all the new connections to ensure a good fit without any leakage, reconnecting all the new hoses, pressurizing the new Thermal Expansion Tank, connecting it & the venting exhaust pipe. Fitting a new Gas line and making sure there are no leaks, adding the Temperature/pressure-relief drain pipe & securing it to the tank. & of course finally filling it and turning it on.
Oh and the testing of the water pressure too. I am sure I missed a lot of steps. -- BUT Riley didn't. AND that is why we rely on a PROFESSINAL to do the work for us. We had HOT water within an hour after the new water heater was lit & we were able to run the dishwasher last night :D THANKS again

Cloverdale plumbing was amazing! Prompt service, they fit me in last minute for an emergency water main leak leak in my front yard. Matthew was the guy that they sent out to fix my pipe. He was professional, funny and really helpful. (He was so nice that he helped me wrangle my dog who got out of our yard, without hesitation) The cost was affordable and I'll definitely be using this company if I ever need plumbing repairs done again.

So thankful for Andrew at Cloverdale plumbing. Had a flat tire while at a friends house. We were having trouble loosening the bolts to remove the tire. Luckily Andrew was across the street working and we asked if he could help us loosen them. He did that and then quickly finished changing the tire. May not of been a plumbing issue, but will 100% be using Cloverdale in the future. Thank you again Andrew.

This is the 2nd time I've used Cloverdale and will continue to do so. Dana and his partner were extremely friendly, personable and informative. They came to repair a leaking outdoor faucet and bathroom sink. They were able to replace the hose bib but the sink would be more of an undertaking than expected. I was given all details of what will need to be done. I will be calling Dana when I am ready to replace the sink.

We had our toilet clogged for over a week and thought we would be able to buy a tool to get it unclogged ourselves; but when I was walking the neighborhood I saw the Cloverdale Plumbing van as the guys were leaving and asked if they wouldn't mind squeezing us in before they left the neighborhood. They came over right away and wore masks the whole time. It was less than a five minute job (they pulled out a toy my kids had thrown in!), so they did it for free! Very nice guys. We'll definitely use them going forward!

They overcharged me. They admitted this but didn't refund any money till we called back again. And then they told us that they billed us for the wrong kind of appointment. But only after multiple phone calls. And then they only refunded a small portion. They claimed it was a large job when it was a 25 minute fix in a bathroom that was simple and required no significant work. They will overcharge you if you're not careful. Don't trust them.

I called Cloverdale Plumbing after they installed a new hot water heater. When the inspector arrived from the city it the inspection couldn't be done because we needed a back flow inspection. Of course I asked Cloverdale to do the inspection and fix a back flow that started to leak after the new hot water heater was installed. They fixed the leaking back flow and the inspection and charged ~$630.
A few days later the original leaky back flow started leaking again and a second one needed repaired. Coincidence, I think not! Plumber arrive a second time for the back flow. Fixed the original leaking back flow and stated parts needed order for the second leak, but temporarily fixed the leak. No charge! A few weeks later still no repair and now is leaking real bad.
I called to complain and miraculously they said they had just received part and the plumber was already dispatched. Hours later the plumber arrives with the part to make the repairs. He was there approximately 3 hours and seriously had to go to his truck 20 times for something. I refused to pay the original bill until they completed the work. Received a late notice charging me another $15 for incomplete work and a second bill for~$230 dollars.
Most expensive back flow Inspection and repair ever and substandard work. Do not use these guys! Look at the other reviews for their unreasonable pricing. In addition the first visit on the back flow repairs was 2/29/20. They did not complete the work until 4/17/20.

We had pipes go bad and called Cloverdale Plumbing. They had done some work for us before and we were pleased with that experience so called them for this issue. They responded quickly, handled the problem, investigated and additional problem and provided quotes for additional work. We understand why they have been in business for so long. They are responsive, professional, and are top on our list for anything plumbing. Respect and honesty are qualities we value in a company with which we do business. They are that and more.

Had used before and fixed a broken pipe before and I think charged like 140 or so was reasonable. Called to fix what we thought was a leaking washer hookup and when he arrived he said not the hook up its the washer. DID 0 WORK unless you call sliding a washer 3 feet to look behind it work and handed my wife a bill for 197.00 for doing nothing. Yes never make the mistake of ever using this place again for any of my rentals. * my financial institution agreed it was unreasonable and reversed the charge my wife was pressured to pay immediately. "She was told you have to pay this amount right now" I have got 3 quotes and the highest was $99 for service call where no work was done.
Make it right and charge me a reasonable amount and this and i go away. Its the principle of not stating the fee and just dropping a 197 bill for no work being done and waiting around for a quote from someone else for something we didnt really want to show the GPS on the truck at the address for more then just 5 minutes.

My husband had the great idea to test turning off our main water line, the only problem is he's not a handy man. One thing led to the next and he broke the valve right off, and let me add this was 48 hours before leaving for an international trip on Christmas Eve! Great timing, I know. luckily Cloverdale answered and came to our rescue, a true Christmas miracle.
Our home is older, and it took a couple hours to finally get our valve replaced and water back on but in the end it was fixed. Great service. Fair price. Would highly recommend.

I was very disappointed with the service & work provided by Cloverdale Plumbing. I cracked a gas line on my gas range. They came to my home and capped off my gas line and provided the estimate for repair. They charged me $179 for the initial service call, then provided me an estimate of $800 to finish the repairs. I thought this was pretty excessive so I decided to call another Plumber in the area.
The other Plumber was shocked by Cloverdale Plumbings bid. They completed the repairs immediately and only charged $316. $1000 bid to $316 is a pretty significant difference. I do not recommend Cloverdale Plumbing.

This is the second time we have used Cloverdale Plumbing. They are absolutely amazing! They work to schedule an appointment that is convenient for you. Then the plumbers arrive on time and are so friendly! Matthew was very patient with my dogs. He also made sure we understood what he needed to do, gave us a fair quote and made sure we had no questions! We will continue to use Cloverdale Plumbing!

When we had a pipe burst under the house, Cloverdale sent out a plumber immediately. Ryan stayed and worked with the restoration company to get the water out so we could get our water back on. He was great and stayed until 11pm. He was very diligent and we felt like we were in great hands. I used Cloverdale at another home many years ago for a burst pipe as well, as the experience was just as great. I recommend them very much.

So disappointed in my service today. The plumber was very nice but he charged me $136 to pull out steel wool wrapped around the end of the drain hose, which took all of 2 seconds. Then he ran the rinse cycle four times to make sure that was the problem. It took all of 20 minutes and on top of that he charged me $59 for travel time. $195 later, such a joke. I will not be using them again!

I just paid these folks $65 to look at my sink and tell me they wanted $475 to re-install my garbage disposal and another $425 for the faucet and dishwasher. I did the faucet myself in 15 min and the disposal in 30 minutes. I still need to do the dishwasher. Figure 30 minutes at most. So they wanted $900 for about one hour of work. Top notch ripoff attempt.
