Yes, it's maybe not the fastest service in DMV area but the quality is worth the price. Bingo for my service man - he did his job and above that. I do understand that sometimes it could be off but this time - exceptional services. And for the reference - I am not easy to pleased while I do respect quality and work. I am at 8 stars for the reviews - this company does it right. My service man was Alex Buelher - Websters get him a rize.

Called John G Webster and received a service date the next business day. The tech J. Carrington was extremely thorough in his analysis of the furnace issue and resolved the issue immediately. He cleaned up the area and made sure to explain the issue, resolution and necessary preventive steps I could take to keep the furnace operating efficiently. I highly recommend this company, and if you can, ask for J. Carrington "Mr. done right the first time".

We moved into an older home this spring and needed to find new service companies across the board. We are so lucky to have found John G. Webster. The service tech, Kenny was polite and helpful. He helped me to understand my system better and helped me to know when I should be looking to replace my ductless system. Great price as well. I highly recommend this company. Not a surprise though, considering they have been in business for so long.

I worked with Ralph and Josh of the John G Webster Co to install a gas log insert in my fireplace. They were safe and professional. Everything was exactly as quoted; there were no surprises. We love our new fireplace, and it got the cat's seal of approval. I highly recommend the John G Webster Co.

I had a leak in the piping coming from the Water Heater. John G. Webster's technician came all the way to Frederick on a minute's notice. This happened on a Friday morning and my water had to be turned off. Naturally, I wanted someone here ASAP. Gosh these guys are good! They're prompt and efficient. Here it is at 1:56 pm on the same Friday afternoon and it's fixed! Thank you.

I've had a lot of issues with my AC and have used John G Webster repeatedly. They are great to work with and have been quick and easy to schedule. They show up when they say they will and they work efficiently. They also clean up after themselves which is awesome! I recommend them to all my friends and will continue to use them for all of my HVAC needs.

I've used this company for two major projects: 1/ Installation of Mitsubishi ductless heating and cooling units in upstairs bedrooms in a 1950 Cape Cod style home 2/ Installation of HVAC gas furnace. I am so pleased with the installation of both systems which were done couple of years apart. Most importantly Ralph Smith took his time in both instances to explain the logistics of each system and the installation so that I could understand why each could be good to solve my problems.

The installation in both cases was so carefully done that I had compliments other home contractors that the outside was done professionally and neatly. A gas company inspector even complimented the neat installation of the furnace as one of the better ones he'd seen. And of course, in the winter I'm warmer and cozier than I've ever been in the last 25 years in my home. No more drafts! And the summer is always a perfect temperature even in the top floor rooms that used to be hot like an attic. Thank you!

We live in Beltsville and I didn't know who to call. After doing a google search, I saw people were giving this company good reviews. I called at 11:30 a.m. and was pleasantly surprised someone would come out that day. Around 5:00 a real nice technician named Zack showed up. I knew I had a big job installing a new wire from my oil furnace to my new WIFI thermostat, but I got the feeling that Zack was gonna stick with me and get it done.

He was very competent and got right to work solving the problem. Unfortunately, another problem developed in my house because it had sat vacant for a couple of months. My main water shut off valve was leaking. Zack happened to have a new 3/4 inch shut off valve on the truck and replaced it! He saved me from having to call a plumber the next day which would have added a lot more to my overall cost.

We never felt at any time like we were being taken advantage of or that he wasn't going out all out to get the work done competently and efficiently and economically. A nice guy!

After 45 mints from reporting my hot water heater is leaking, he showed up while we are not home. They installed this hot water heater 2 years ago. I have to replace the overflow valve (this sis the problem) which will cost me $500. Can you believe this rip off! Oh. Also, I need to upgrade my pluming per the D.C. new code (from 2 years ago) and add PRV which will cost me another $500 ($200 Hardware and $300 labor). It is Christmas day and it is a complete rip off. NEVER AGAIN.

I contacted John G. Webster Co. for the installation of a new gas furnace and re-design of my poor duct work that resulted in low air flow in several of my floor vents. The firm was recommended to me by my brother and several other acquaintances who had experienced terrific services from John G. Webster Co. I dealt with VP Silas Naecker who is the epitome of the highest level of a professional in the heating and cooling industry. Silas quickly and expertly formulated a strategy to increase my air flow in the identified low air flow vents and recommended a highly efficient 96.1% efficient gas furnace at a great price.

Throughout the process of contracting with John G. Webster Co. Silas maintained continuous and responsive communications with me and he readily answered all of my queries and concerns. His assigned technician, Tess, was truly exemplary while installing my new furnace and expertly and cleverly undertaking a challenging and importantly unintrusive re-design of my duct work. John G. Webster Co. is, without question, the most professional and indeed the very best heating and cooling firm in the DC Metro Region! I highly recommend John G. Webster Co., a truly exceptional customer-focused and technically sophisticated firm.

Buyer beware. We were sold two units during this past winter. One broke down right away and needed to be replaced within a few weeks. The other unit crapped out three days ago. This week has had the hottest days of the year, and John G Webster's management cannot provide an ETA for a solution (repair or replacement). Their workers promise that we will receive phone calls back, but we find ourselves having to call in multiple times in order to speak to someone who is familiar with the situation. Defective units, poor communication, and no alternative other than sweating and waiting.

I will update this review if the situation changes. **EDIT** The workers from John G Webster left my AC unit disassembled in my living room the last time they came, and said that this would help them move faster the next time they came. However, the next day they called to say I'd need to go through the manufacturer for a fix (despite me having a warranty with John G Webster).

The manufacturer can't get parts and a technician here until the middle of next week, so now I have a useless AC with parts strewn across my living room. **Update** GE has notified me that John G Webster installed the unit incorrectly and voided the manufacturer's warranty by disassembling the unit after it crapped out. Still no word from John G Webster regarding a solution.
