Services
Denis Rohaley started in the plumbing industry in 1975 as the youngest Certified Master Plumber in Florida. After opening several successful plumbing companies around the country, Denis moved his family back to his real home, Fort Myers. In 1993 he opened Rohaley & Sons Plumbing with his wife, two sons, and long-time employee, Nathan Hopkins.
As with sewer systems, many municipalities are requiring communities to abandon their well water and hook up to a municipal supply of potable water. Rohaley & Sons handles new installations, line location, replacement, and repair. One of the main reasons municipalities want homeowners to connect to their city water system is that they need a way to quantify how much sewage and wastewater a residence is producing to more accurately bill it for sewer costs.Rohaley & Sons also handles a lot of replacements.
Rohaley & Sons Specializes in Septic Tank Abandonment, Location, and Pump-outs. About 30% of Florida's population - or 2.6 million properties - relies on septic systems for their wastewater disposal. While most of them are safe and do their job effectively, many systems are not properly maintained and can negatively impact drinking water wells, rivers, lakes, and streams.
Cape Coral originally was a low-density, rural community that relied on septic tanks and shallow groundwater wells. As the population has grown, the shallow wells have depleted the upper groundwater aquifer, and failed septic tanks have dumped effluent into groundwater and canals. The city, therefore, mandated that all homes in the area be connected to city water, sewer, and irrigation. At Rohaley & Sons, we are one of the contractors working with homeowners to get them connected to the City of Cape Coral's systems.

Critical: Professionalism I called because I was referred by another company. The guy that sneered was incredibly rude and flippantly said "we do go all the way up there".We are in North Fort Myers. No suggestion on who they'd recommend, nothing. Just "click". I would recommend finding another company.

These people are great! I was concerned about connecting my home to Cape Coral city water, but they took care of the entire process. They even took great care to make my yard and plants look undisturbed. Very professional.

Wow what a great team they have. I had a several leaks at a commercial building. They came out immediately and handled the issues as they were found even in my parking lot. Nate, I can not thank you enough for everything you did personally and then the crew you sent to fix the leak in the parking lot. FL LeakPros found the leak this morning and marked the spot, we called you and before I got back from running two short errands the crew you sent was working on the parking lot when I pulled up.

They explained to me what it was and repaired the pipe and patched my parking lot back up beautifully, showed me the 'no flow' reading on the meter and was on their way. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH I am one happy customer for life.

What a tremendous experience to work with Rohaley &Sons Plumbing Contractors! We were in need to convert from a septic sewer system to the city sewer. From the start which started with Chris at the main office the communication was so professional and completely thorough. They handled all paperwork and permits with city and state. The crew which came to do the job were at our home exactly when they said they would be there.

And each one of the crew was more than informative and helpful as the job progressed. Brett was in charge and made us feel confident that our experience would be satisfying! We are so happy that we based our choosing Rohaley based on their reputation! Reputation says it all about any company and Rohaley certainly has earned that respect! Thanks again to Chris and all at Rohaley for making this project headache free!

Did an Awesome job in August 2015 hooking us up to water & running pipes to sewer for future use if our well goes dry. They charged a little more, but are prompt & thorough. Very professional company. Some of our neighbors were swindled. You dont have to worry with this father & son company.

Awful experience. We hired this company back in Sept/Oct of 2015. First, they have my husband rush to get a permit pulled to get on their schedule. Then, they wouldn't give us a install date. We were told that they "should" be able to do the hookup before the end of December which was our deadline. They told us the work would be done with our neighbors who got in 2 weeks before us.

They completed our neighbors house on Dec 23rd. When they didn't start the work on ours, my husband called and was told "there was an emergency". My husband continued periodically to call but our install date kept getting pushed further out. Now (February), I call to get an update because I am tired of being jerked around. The guy that answered has an attitude from the beginning and says that they are very busy.

Maybe they will get to us sometime in March but once again can't make any promises. He was very demeaning to me and made me feel like they no longer wanted our business. So, I ask him what the procedure is if we decided to cancel and find someone else. He proceeds to tell me that I have to submit paperwork with the city now that they are on the permit.

When I hung up, I sent an email in to the company because quite frankly there was a better way to handle an upset customer than to insult them. The email that I received back basically blamed my husband for "waiting so long". We gave them 3 months originally and now almost 6 months. At no time did anyone apologize or try to assist me in anyway. The final email sent to me was that they had cancelled us off their schedule. What?

I at no time told them I had cancelled. I only complained to their continuous delays and demeaning behavior. Now we are left trying to scramble to find someone else to do the work. My husband thinks these guys have an issue with women because there is NO other reason I can think of for this horrible behavior. He never had anyone talk to him the way this man spoke and later emailed me. I would NEVER recommend this company. HOMEOWNER BEWARE!
