Len the Plumber Scheduled an appointment for Friday June 17th between 2-5pm. Called around 4:15pm asking if someone would be able to make the appointment and was told a dispatcher was not available but would call with an estimated time of arrival. I received a call at 5:30pm notifying me no one would be able to come out today but I could reschedule.

They gave me a few options and said someone could come on Saturday at no additional charge so I scheduled for 11am-2pm window. On Saturday morning at 745am I received a call and said someone would be there within 30 mins. Plumber didn't show up until 9am. This was a basic swap out of faucet for an outside spigot and was charged $684. The same part at Home Depot cost $50.

I understand there to be a labor cost but over $600 in labor feels a lot much. I have made multiple calls to their office and was told a supervisor by the name of Richelle would call but have not heard from anyone to explain the invoice. Would not recommend their service.

Rohan Virsawmi came to check my water heater. Told me that it was a leaky valve and told me that if he repaired it, it may not work and tried to sell me on a new water heater. My current water heater is only 14 months old. What a Con Artist. had a different plumber out today, no leak detected. It was a mistake on my part. NEVER DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. They have become too corporate minded. I was a customer for 8 years, not anymore.

I called last Wednesday evening, 6/8/22, for emergency service due to a broken cold water line that was flooding my home. I was hung up on 3 times and finally was connected to a 3rd party service this company uses to screen calls. I was told that this company does not service my zip code. I asked why over and over and was basically told it's none of my business.

I called back and used a zip code up the street from my home and of course it was fine and I could then proceed with being connecting me to a dispatcher. This company appears to be RED LINING. I am not surprised this at all though. Just look at all the terrible reviews. What the heck was I thinking?

Pretty much the only company that sends non-recyclable plastic mass mailings to my mailbox. When I called the 800 number to ask them to please consider discontinuing this practice, they hung up on me. Thanks for increasing my wastestream, guys.

Overcharged and non-responsive. Avoid at all costs. Our well pump failed over Memorial Day weekend, Len was the only company that returned my call. The tech responded the next day but was unable to purchase a well pump because of the holiday. He returned on Tuesday and completed the work. I was billed twice for the removal of the pump. For the price I was charged I could have had another well dug. Called to request an itemized invoice to justify the charges and have not received a response.

Scheduled for Sunday 11-2pm. They call us at 1:55pm and say they can't make it, reschedule is for Monday 3-5pm. They call at 2:30pm, from a number Apple marks SPAM RISK, my husband didn't pick up. They leave a nasty voicemail saying they are canceling our reservation because we didn't pick up from their spam line. He called back and told them they should show up for appointments in the first place, and secondly if we have an appointment you show up - you don't need to call me. They said they could again reschedule me for the next day as they gave away my slot. I told them to get lost and called Horizon instead.

I scheduled an appointment with them and received confirmation. Waited home for hours. Called them for an eta. Didn't hear back. Called again. Finally someone called and said they'd be about an hour late. I told them I'd wait. Another person called after 45 minutes more and said they would have to reschedule to the following week. I explained that I'd been waiting and was still available.

The woman was rude and said I had to reschedule. I told her If that was the case I wouldn't be rescheduling with them and she hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Looks like I should have checked their yelp reviews because the ones on their website and only good ones.

Had to have My main sewer line replaced, The price was as good as you can ask for. Also, There was a water leak from the curb shut off, which was found to be on my side. I placed a call to Gary, (note this was not on the repair list) He said we can take care of that for a extra fee. Which I though was very fair, Job well done, Evan was the lead man on the job( outstanding.

From the estimate to job completion, I will recommend Len without hesitation. Straight forward, no games. Thanks for the great work. Sincerely Greg. Note: they could have just as easily, destroyed the side walk while on the dig. Evan took the time to hand dig a tunnel to the shut off. Saved me $$$$$$. god bless.!

I called Len the Plumber for several different plumbing needs. The person who answered the phone seemed very nice (I later found out it was the office supervisor). Everything seemed fine until I asked that the plumber wear a mask as there is an elderly person in the house who has some existing health conditions and hasn't been able to receive the COVID vaccine because of a reaction.

At that point, I was told they would not come because of the "risk" and "liability". When I assured her that the person would be in a completely different part of the house, and we would be doing a thorough sanitizing after the plumber left, her response was the same. Gee Len, you run a great business when it serves your needs! I will make sure that I spread the word about Len the Plumber not working where elderly people are involved.

Just awful. Very good at response and same day service. Also very good at price gouging and straight up jacking the cost as high as possible. Dude came out about three hours after call. Dude disappeared into the sump room for a few minutes. Then they gave me pricing at $1600 to replace the pump. I went with another guy, an individual wasn't part of a National chain and who works for himself.

For $56, the cost of the call and did a minimal maintenance. The sump pump was perfectly fine and surely didn't need replacement. If you live in the Baltimore area, message me and I'll give his contact info,

Well in the past I left these guys a great review but I take all of that back now. Called night for an appointment today between 2-5. Never got any confirmation, called them this morning and got hung up on twice, they finally told us we were on the schedule. Here it is after 5 and no one is here, no one called. I called them again and got hung up on again. You all suck.

Len the Plumber provided quick, same day service. The woman who answered the phone (October) was polite and provided excellent service. I received a phone call as promised within the time frame that had been provided to me. Tim was on time, professional, and had a great attitude, despite having to work over the holiday weekend. He did a great job, I was very impressed. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future (and if possible, I will request Tim again!).

The tech was nice and so far everything seems fine, but got pretty ripped off and definitely not a good value. I had 2 problems: 1) Toilet supply line valve was broken and dripping. I ran into the issue when trying to change out the fill valve so I had them change that as well figuring it would add much in the way of time. $499 2) Shutoff valve for external hose bib was dripping when opened.

The tech replaced the valve and the hose bib. $596 I was quoted $985, which I felt was pretty expensive, but I needed it fixed. However the job took 2 hours so I started doing the math at what exactly could their bill rate be. I am used to plumbers charging around $200-$250 an hour so that means they had to be charging me $600 in parts, which seems outrageous considering the parts required.

I called the company to get clarity about their bill and their repeated line is "We do not charge per hour or parts, we charge what it takes to perform the service". This is clearly just a way to obfuscate the invoice so it's unclear what you are actually paying for. Considering they charge "by the job" it's also odd they are unable to provide a rough estimate over the phone. That's because they know if you were told that a basic replacement of a toilet supply valve is $400-$500 you would go elsewhere. (I got this done in 2020 in NoVA and it was $205 total ($170 labor - 45 minutes / $35 parts) The major parts listed (Toilet Shutoff valve, toilet fill valve/flapper, shutoff valve for hose bib, frost proof hose bib) most likely cost less than $100 and if you assume a hourly labor bill rate of $250/hr that leaves a delta about about ~$385.

Of course they would claim additional overhead, but regardless it's a pretty steep upcharge. It's my fault for not questioning it when I heard it and I should have gone with my gut, but then I'd be stuck with the dispatch fee and a leaking valve. Will use another company in the future.

I wish I had asked for a quote before calling them out. I had no idea they would charge twice the high end average rate. I had to say no, and was out the visit fee of $49. They wanted $439 to install a disposal that I bought myself, and $1000 to snake a drain. I give them credit for showing up on time.

This was our first time using Len the Plumber and we're very happy with the outcome! The dispatch office kept us well informed about when we could expect the tech, and our tech Tim was great! He was prompt, informative, friendly, professional and thorough. He cleaned up after each repair he made (we had a major leak as well as some frustrating plumbing issues and some proactive repairs needed on every level of our home).

He explained everything and we felt very comfortable with him doing the work. We appreciate Tim and the company for getting to us and doing our repairs so quickly. We'll definitely use this company again and would recommend it to friends. Thanks!

I called them on an emergency on Sunday March 6th, 2022 as my shower faucet started to leak. The technician was gone for hours to look for the part to my knowledge. He ordered the part on the same day, said it would be in within a few days. It's now Monday, March 28th, 2022 and I have only gotten a call back from them ONCE which was two weeks ago. I've had a leaking faucet for weeks as I do not have an access panel to turn off that particular area. I've called twice a week over the last few weeks to check in on the status. I'm told numerous times that I would have someone call me back within 48 hours.

No one ever does. I was told to call them last Monday as my part should have been in by then. I called, again no response. Very disappointed with their lack of communication and poor customer service. I found the part at Home Depot that they said unavailable. If you're in the Baltimore City area I highly recommend to not use them.

Robert arrived within the scheduled time period and fully explained the work that needed to be done. He gave us a price upfront and did an excellent job installing our new utility sink. He ever disposed of our old one! We will definitely use Len the Plumber again. They were easy to schedule with and got someone to us the very next day.

Truly professional, the whole team. My hot water team basically went after 12 years. They came out inspected my problem in like an hour, incredible quickness, gave a real good price for the water heater and service. They got done in a few hours, basically was 2 guys and the owner did the inspection. The water heater works great this past month. If you anybody else, you are taking a risk. I don't leave reviews often, only when the business deserves it, good or ad. Use these guys, excellent overall.

A Len the Plumber employee has parked his truck on our residential neighborhood for over a year now. I have called continuously asking them to move it. The truck blocks the view of our crosswalk as well as blocking safe passage for cars. The street is not sized for commercial vehicles and it is **illegal** to park them overnight on residential streets. Breaking the law appears to be acceptable to them.

I would NEVER use or recommend them. What other laws are they ignoring? Safety codes? Pshaw. Licensing requirements? Nah. I just can't get over the lack of caring this company has. They can't even be bothered to call me back to apologize or lie and say they talked to the guy. It's very clear who their priority is. It's not the customer. Edit to both correct and update.

There have been two trucks, and thought it feels like it's been longer, it apparently started at the beginning of October. My mistake for getting that wrong. That said, I'm adding in the pics I have of them. I don't leave the house that often, so there are only 26 of them. I'll update it again in a month or so with some more. There is no possible argument that this is OK or not actually happening. The photos will also be added to Google as well as being sent to the county parking enforcement department management.

I had three items completed today by Corey and Hunter. They installed my new dishwasher, removed an old and installed a new hot water valve, plus removed my dated garbage disposal and installed a new sink drain and waste pipe under the sink. Corey and Hunter were very courteous, explained everything that they were doing for me so I could understand.

They completed their work in an orderly and efficient manor and cleaned up the area before leaving. I will definitely have them back to work on my next plumbing project. Len the plumber is a great company I dealt with Gary S. He's a master plumber with over 20 years of experience and it shows. He ran a camera in my sewer line showed me roots and cracks in my line, then explained what needed to be done. Got multiple quotes but price and expertise from Len it was a no brainer. They sent their own crew two techs did the job one named Evan the other T, the we're on time told me their plan and executed flawlessly and cleaned up as promised I couldn't ask for anything more. This is my go to company for plumbing issues, hopefully this helps anyone looking for a great company.

I would rate Len the Plumber no stars if I could. While they made an effort to send someone out they basically ripped me off for the work and didn't solve my plumbing issues. The guy came out and said there was a clog in my drain that might be causing issues, charged me $784 to snake the drain and showed me a tub full of sentiment and left. A few short weeks later after I remodeled my basement the plumbing started to clog again and leak on my floor new floors and walls. I called them and left a message with no response back. Just horrible. Will never be using or referring these guys.

The control panel on my water heater blew a fuse and my family of 5 was without hot water. Called Len the plumber to take advantage of their emergency services. First, there was no emergency service because I had to wait until the next morning. Second, when I called ahead of time to cancel my appointment because another company came out earlier, I was told to "enjoy being under water and playing with the fish." WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

The idiocy of it all. I see why their rating was so low. Let's not even address the pure unprofessionalism of saying such things to someone but when you attempt to be a condescending prick I would at least expect you to pinpoint your jab. We in fact we're not under water, our water heater stopped working. I'm more upset at the I'll advised "diss" than anything else. LOLOLOL

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME calling Len the Plumber. Called this morning and they said someone would be out between 2:00-5:00, and they also sent a confirmation text. At 6:05 PM they called to say they couldn't make it today. I called them three times between 3:45 and 5:20 to find out if anyone was going to come out and could not get an answer. Calls go to a call center located who knows where. They said they would get in touch with "dispatch" and call me back - no call back. Wasted the four hours of my time waiting and the toilet is still not fixed.

I have a leaking pipe. I scheduled an appointment with Len the Plumber, which they confirmed via text. They provided me a 3-hour (5 - 8pm) and I was informed someone would contact me 30-45 min prior to arriving. At 7:30pm, I contacted the company seeking status and was put through to their answering service. At 7:50pm, I received a call back advising me that no technician is available to come out to my location. Now, as a business owner myself, I deal with other business daily and the one thing we respect from each other is our TIME!

Time is money and dealing with Len the Plumber today caused me plenty today. They are extremely unprofessional and could care less about my (or your) precious time. I hope this post reaches plenty because everyone needs to be aware just how unprofessional is Len the Plumber, LLC.

The last time I called Len the Plumber, they didn't arrive at all. I wouldn't have called them again, but the toilet rebuild that they did TWO WEEKS AGO already broke, and I want them to fix it. So I did call them again, and was given a 2-5 arrival window. About 4:30 I hadn't heard anything, so I called the main number. They said that they couldn't contact the dispatcher (!), but had left a message, and the dispatcher would call right back. 25 minutes later, there had been no call back, so I called the main number again.

This time, they said that they talked to the dispatcher, and the dispatcher would get back to me in the next 10 minutes. Guess what? No call from the dispatcher. You can't trust anything this company tells you.

The problem I have is that I was charged $223.00 for "diagnostic service." We had a hole in our pipe that we showed the technician, and then we paid him to do the job. Our hours even included his trip to get parts and write up paperwork. I was under the impression that the diagnostic cost would count toward our repair since we used the company, but when I got my invoice, I saw that it was extra.

This is crazy! We knew the problem and it took 5 minutes for him to confirm. This time went beyond the 3.5 hours he spent with us that we were also charged for. I reached out that day and again today, and no one called me back. I hate to score so low since our technician did a fantastic job fixing our pipe issue. He was perfectly competent. This low review is hopefully something that will motivate a call back.

Quoted me $4K for a water heater replacement, when I asked for only labor it was still nearly the same price, charged me $50 for nothing. Got the job done for $400. Complete rip offs, find a local plumber, will save you tons of money.

Run, don't walk, away from this business. There are completely unresponsive, unprofessional, and lack basic client customer service. I attempted to have them do about $30k in work, but quickly realized that this is far from a professional business. I even wrote to the owner, who equally non-responsive.

Just call Len the plumber. What a joke. Twice I booked an appointment for an estimate and twice they didn't show up. I took unpaid time from work and waited until 8:00pm only to be told that no one would be coming out after all and was rescheduled to Saturday between11:00am and 2:00pm. I called at 1:30pm on the Saturday to make sure someone was still coming out and was told yes, but it would be later.

No problem so long as someone's definitely coming that would be fine. Yes she said, someone will be out. About an hour and a half later I got a call to say once again that my appointment had been cancelled. What kind of Mickey Mouse company is this. I guess my project isn't worth while for them. I copied this from their website, "you'll get a profile of your plumber before they arrive so you know who's coming and they show up on time (every time)". " On time every time" What BS.

INVOICE #120283832 I called Len the Plumber and technician Scott D. was sent out the same day on November 15th to fix a leak stemming from the toilet and to install a new drain stopper. 1) Toilet Leak: Scott stated he knew why the toilet was leaking and installed new parts. The toilet is still leaking from the same place, and furthermore, when we turn the water line off to stop leaking in between uses and then back on, it now squirts out water which it did not do before. Meaning, the leak is worse. 2) Drain Stopper: Scott stated that there was a repair that had to be made to the drain pipe to allow proper installation and functioning of the new drain stopper, which I approved.

Subsequent to the fix and installation of the drain stopper, the sink no longer drains. Prior to Scott's work, the sink drained without any issue, so it is clear that his repair and installation were not done correctly. I called Len the Plumber to notify them of the issues on November 16th and Scott returned on November 17th. After inspecting his work from the prior day for less than 1 minute, he attempted to suggest that more paid work was required to fix the issues he caused (poor sink drainage), or complete the work on the toilet which he never fixed to begin with. Scott left 5 minutes after arriving and said that I need to call the Service Manager, Daniel B. from the local office, which I did the same day (Nov 17th). Daniel informed me that he would be reviewing the matter and calling me back within 48 hours.

He still has not returned my call even though I have called 6 times over the past 2 weeks since then in an attempt to get in contact with Daniel and have the matter resolved. Do not trust Len the Plumber. Poor quality work and zero responsiveness.

Was notified that master plumber would arrive in 30 minutes.an hour and a half later called to find out where he was.told he could not make it so sending a journeyman who was coming from Delaware and would be a bit later. OK, things happen. Person arrives, hasn't any idea what is causing the smell of sewage gas in basement freezer room. Was going to get back to me, never did, after he reviews his findings with his supervisor but if it should happen again to call immediately when the smell is apparent and tell the operator that someone has to come while the odor is noticeable. Called today when the smell was terrible and told they could have someone come out in a couple days.conveyed what the plumber had told us about someone needing to come ASAP in order to determine cause.no one is available.

To make matters worse I was charged $49.00 for the first visit. That money is suppose to be applied to the service, according to the operator, but there wasn't any service to apply it too! So what have I paid for? someone to come out and tell me they don't know what the problem is? He even said that unless they came back later the same day I would have to pay the $49.00 again! Please do not waste your time or money!

I was quoted $850 for a job that would take only two hours and require only two small valves. $425 an hour is outrageous. Additionally, they canceled on me at the last moment for the first appointment and charged me $50 just for them to come out and look at my project. They didn't reimburse me for my time wasted waiting for them the first day.

Made an appointment several days in advance for a plumbing leak. Day of, they call me 2.5 hours into my 3 hour service window to tell me they can't make it. WTF people. This is the second plumber to do this to me. I guess I'll just have to learn plumbing on YouTube.

Set an appointment with them to install a dishwasher after Home Depot was unable to install as scheduled with my delivery due to not knowing how to handle a pressure valve. I should have known it was a bad idea when they were only 1 of 6 places not to give me cost est. on the phone. Other companies were in $300-$400 range but not available same day like they were.

Man got to my house and wanted to charge $1200 and was not sure if he could even do install with possible hard wire v. plug. Instead, I wasted $49 for him to come out and give me that exorbitant price, then I hired another company to do the job the next day for $375. All is good but I will never call Len the Plumber again!

Contacted Len the Plumber at 6am today. Wrote description of issues we needed to have resolved. Initially, we scheduled a morning visit, however Len the Plumber contacted me and said visit would occur between 11-2. Plumber showed at 2:50 accessed problems and stated he did not have a snake to unclog minor obstruction. Another tech showed 45 minutes later and stated the problem was the vent pipe that is on the roof. Dissatisfied 1. Len the Plumber set the schedule and then missed the timeline 2.

Another tech showed initially and didn't complete the work (didn't have the equipment required) 3. The Original tech shows 45 minutes later to advise scope of work was outside services that Len the Plumber provides. 4. Len the Plumber was not surprised by our needs, I wrote what was wrong at 6am Where is the customer service? Where is the integrity to set a schedule and then abide by it? As a consumer, my time was wasted. Are any of these things important? Not pleased with Len the Plumber experience today. Would not recommend them to anyone!

We bought a dishwasher. It was delivered on a Thursday and we found the company did not arrange installation for at least 5 days. We had a dishwasher sitting in our kitchen effectively blocking everything. I called the company and after was offered installation by a plumber we hired. We called and made an appointment with the plumber we usually call.

We got a call back several hours later saying they did not offer dishwasher installation. We called Len the Plumber. They said they would be out that evening. They called close to 8:00 PM to say they would be out between 8:00- 11:00 AM. The next morning they called to say they were running late. They arrived just after noon and quoted us a price of over $700.00.

To install the dishwasher. That was just under the cost of the dishwasher. We had no choice so we said go ahead. It took several hours and the installer ran into a problem that took several phone calls to correct. The final bill was @$768.00. We assumed everything was done. We did not know how much the company we purchased the appliance from would cover. We, of course, went to do dishes and found the built in dishwasher was not secured.

It fell forward every time we loaded it. We called Len back. Someone called and left a message. this was Sunday. When we tried to call back we got the answering service. We called again on Monday. We cot a text asking for more information(?). We once again described our problem. Several calls later an appointment was made for 8:00 - 11:00 AM. At 11:30 AM we called and were told the tech would call us back right away. That was an hour ago- no call. This is intolerable! The service is way overpriced - if the is a problem they are ghosts.

This company is NOT trustful (you should check their reviews on Yelp which is like 2.5/5.0 with 286 reviews). What happened to me was like I initially setup an appointment on Monday but it was asked to move to Tuesday which was Okay. On Tuesday, no one came. I called them to check and they told me that there was a major delay and asked to reschedule.

I rescheduled it to Wednesday, and NO SHOW again. I called them and they told me the same thing (major delay happened and asked to reschedule it). I explained that the reschedule happened multiple time already and the Len The Plumber did not even inform me about the delays. The person I spoke to was like "Okay. Apologies for that and will make sure that the dispatcher will act proactively.

We offer $60 coupons for the inconvenience." so I rescheduled it again to Thursday. Again, NO SHOW, NO CALL at all. And, I just found out that the $60 discount which the person I spoke to for the inconvenience was something available for everyone. It's posted their HP. NO integrity exists in this company. Don't waste you time to deal with this company.

They are terrible. They were late coming out claiming the tech had a flat. They charged over $1k to snake a bathroom pipe. When my husband ak them about snaking the laundry room because it was on the same line, the tech said it was not necessary. Three days later the toilet overflowed a second time. They said it was a different line; when in fact it was the same line.

They proceeded to tell me that their snake work was not guaranteed. Left in a conundrum we used liquid gel plumber and we're able to clear the line. But as a consequence, we were left with another(larger than previous) mess in the bathroom and basement.

Came very quickly. Knowledgeable Plumber who gave me several options with prices. Finished the work the same day I called. Excellent.
