Right after a hot spell, with another one on the way, our HVAC blower motor went out. Jacob and Keith came to our home less than 24 hours after we called and resolved the issue (on a holiday weekend). They offered various levels of service, from minimal repair to full replacement. Jacob's technical skill got the job done, while he and Keith kept us educated about the process and options for the future.

This is the first time we've used Broad Ripple and it will be the last. They came to repair our AC on 4/27 and I felt like the tech was just talking circles and really wasn't very clear. He convinced us to purchase a rejuv ac kit, added 2lbs of refrigerant ($957), we were informed that the system would probably need to be replaced, but that we could possibly get one more season out of it.
Then on 5/10 I went to turn the air on and nothing, so they came out the same day but they really didn't do anything but charged me another $164 which I should not have been charged because we were just serviced 13 days earlier. Basically, the refrigerant had leaked out. When I called the office they said, we did not approve checking for leaks. Are you kidding me, who adds refrigerant and doesn't check for leaks!
They are the professionals, but they blamed on us. The bottom line is the system sieged and now we need a new ac. So the tech happened to have a salesperson with them and then the sales pitch began. Don't get me wrong everyone was professional and personable, but really. Also they do not give you time frames for their arrival and the 1st tech came at 7pm and literally ran out of daylight. Over a $1,000 gone--Very disappointed!

We just recently (less than 6 months ago) made a large purchase with this "company". Purchased new furnace, unit, water heater, etc. Also purchased the membership for services and repairs to be easily available. Surprisingly, the AC is not working now that temperatures are getting warmer. It's been 3 weeks now, that they made us wait for a sensor to come in.
We had to play phone tag with the manager and then to fix the issue in the mean time they provided 3 AC units. Our home has more than 3 rooms. The scheduled date to get our unit fixed changed so many times and finally this past Friday the tech they sent out supposedly "worked"on the unit and not to our surprise, the unit is still not working. This business is a huge scam.
Before we made this large upgrade to the house, we use to pay for each repair and issues would be fixed. Now that they have our money we can't get the same service as before! I do not recommend this company! Save yourself a headache and your money! This business is a joke!

In July 2019, my family purchased a new A/C unit for our home from Broad Ripple. We paid over $4,000 for the unit and also agreed to their yearly membership where they would perform yearly check-ups on the unit in order to maintain the warranty. In February 2022, Broad Ripple made their annual visit to our home to evaluate the condition of the A/C unit.
There was no discussion of any defective components within this brand-new A/C unit that required immediate repair. In May 2022, we noticed that the A/C unit was not cooling down our home. We called Broad Ripple and were advised that the warranty had expired and we would be responsible for all repairs. After disputing this, the customer service rep had their manager call us back.
The manager stated we had received incorrect information, but that the representative was not responsible for giving bad information as they do not understand anything about warranties. The technician arrived at our home, diagnosed the issue and confirmed that the coil within the A/C unit was defective and the unit had leaked refrigerant as a result.
The cost of repairing the coil would be covered, but there was a loophole in the warranty that would not cover the cost of replacing/refilling the refrigerant. The cost of the refrigerant was almost $1700. I asked why this cost would not be covered along with the defective coil that caused the refrigerant leak and the manager blamed the issue on the manufacturer of the A/C unit.
This A/C unit is less than three years old. I have canceled my membership with Broad Ripple Service Experts. It is clear to me that this company sells faulty equipment that fails in a couple years with warranties that contain loopholes leaving the customer on the hook for thousands of additional dollars. Their staff are not adequately trained to field questions on the equipment.
Their annual membership is useless as it doesn't catch major problems like this from occurring. Worst of all, they have no sensitivity for their customers. It should be underscored that at no point during this experience did any employee apologize for the inconvenience, stress and financial cost. I hope my experience will give pause to anyone who is currently considering Broad Ripple Service Experts as a potential provider for their family and home. I hope this may motivate you to consider giving someone else a try.

Ok everyone, you must insist on requesting Shaun and his wonderful son, Austin. These guys are an amazing and ethical team. They performed a job I thought would take the entire day, and I was quite nervous on how things would look like in the end. It took less than 3 hrs, hardly any noise, no fuss, no trouble. AND new parts and impeccable look. I am so impressed, I'm sticking with Broad Ripple Service Experts, WOW!

Gary and Ethan were exceptional professionals who came to give us a tune up after having a new HVAC installed last April. They were friendly, kind, on time, and professional. They not only looked at my HVAC, but they gave me a total home report to help me make decisions about my water heater and insulation. We had a great conversation about my appliances and they made sure to help me understand how each piece operates and what to look out for. This was above and beyond your standard tune up. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

We have been customers of Broadripple Service Experts for several years now. We are service members and they make it easy to schedule the maintenance. Another perk is that the number of plumbing and HVAC emergencies we've had have all been taken care of quickly (same day). The techs are polite, informative, and knowledgeable. Prices are fair. We are quite pleased!
