My husband and I suspected that something was not quite right with our ejector pump and were referred to Fettes, Love, & Sieben by the property manager of our building. Great referral! Eric arrived exactly on time and not only was he skilled at diagnosing the problem, he also took time to educate my husband and me about actions we could take to maintain the pump so it functions at peak efficiency. Without hesitation, we'd refer everyone we know to Fettes, Love, & Sieben.

ZERO STARS! I spoke to Mark a day after leaving a message to get an estimate to replace a shower base. We spoke on the phone and I told him we wanted a shower base removed and a newer on installed. I sent detailed pictures to him per his request. He replied that he was concerned about something he saw in the picture I sent so I told him I would contact the building engineer with the concern he had - I email him with the building engineers response and did not get any reply whatsoever - perhaps this company is content rodding sewer lines for a living.

We had FLS come into our condo for a plumbing service. Jacob and Santino are very dedicated to getting their job done properly and were very diligent. Excellent experience with Patrick - he diagnosed a problem we were having, established a plan, came back and fixed it. he was on time, courteous, and honest. We'll call and request him specifically for any plumbing services needed moving forward.

I've used Fettes Love & Sieben a couple of times over the past few years, and have always been extremely happy with their work. For this particular occasion, the wall behind my shower was making a squealing noise when the shower ran. Except of course when the plumber got there. Wouldn't make the sound at all. He still helped me diagnose the potential issues given my impersonation of the sound, and even helped with another slow drain issue while we were waiting for the shower to replicate the sound. His suggested solution completely solved the squealing shower issue, and all my drains are working properly now as a bonus.

I called them up for a Wall plumbing issue in a condo. The work was done, but the Bill was based on wrong hours charges; I call it plain and simple enethical practise. They charged me for hours when nott in the building. After reporting to building and their manager, the charges were decreased appropriately. I Say NO TO company with POOR ETHICAL values; will never call them again; will reportthem to Better Business forum of Chicago as well

I'm so relieved we found these guys. After using an emergency plumber and 2 well-known/larger businesses that do HVAC/electrical/plumbing who all failed to assess the issue, we finally got an answer on a recurring sewer main backup due to roots in the line from FLS. They not only cleared the block, but used progressive-sized cutters to fully remove the roots and used the camera to make sure their work was complete.

They showed us the entirety of the line with the camera and recommended we rod the line more frequently to prevent any future buildup. It was such a welcome change from the haste of the other companies we used, who not only try to prey on your lack of knowledge but also don't fully troubleshoot and treat the issue. Jacob and Santino were fantastic and we'll be using them again for future maintenance.

Great experience with Hugh. He was was always friendly to talk to over the phone. He fixed our radiator issues quickly. He made the tenants happy which is not an easy job. Which made me happy! I highly recommend them.

An excellent experience from start to finish. Scott arrived right on time. He was well prepared with protective booties on, and he was wearing a mask as these times require. He was extremely cautious with his equipment. He asked all the right questions about the problem we were having and then went straight to work with a thorough diagnosis and resolution. These guys are real quality. They know their business, show up on time, and get the job done in a professional fashion. As with all companies things sometimes go wrong. Great companies like Fettes deal with it and do whatever it takes (within reason) to make the customer happy. This is a great company.

I had a terrible experience with these guys. Charged me an hour of work. Were there for 30 minutes. Basically looked around the basement and outside. Told me the reason of why I had water in my basement was due to the slope of the side of the house and the main line is not pitched. 190 dollars later and didn't bother checking any of the sewerage lines which is why I had them there in the first place. 3 hours after I had a different crew come out which diagnoses the issue within 10 minutes. Checked the line which was holding water. Proceeded to clean it. 3 days of heavy rain followed and 0 water in the basement. They basically made 190 dollars for 30 minutes to walk around and give me the wrong diagnoses and not bother to check anything. Would not recommend.

I had a leak in an investment property, and was referred to Fettes Love & Sieben by my handyman. Phenomenal experience from start to finish. Calls were returned quickly, emails were responsive and informative, and Scott the plumber was incredible. He worked closely with our building engineering team to reduce my end cost, and kept me updated via phone throughout the entire repair.

He also complimented our engineering staff, saying they were incredibly organized and one of the best he's worked with. I already knew this to be true, but it was wonderful to hear it from Scott. Fettes Love & Sieben earned my respect and trust and I look forward to working with them again.

John and Frank at Fettes Love & Sieben are the best!. I had a leak in both upstairs bathrooms and John was able to send Frank out within a couple of hours. Frank took the time to video the problem and explain what he needed to do to correct the problems. He is honest and efficient. I won't use anyone else. I will only use Fettes Love & Sieben

Our house froze this past winter and both plumbing and radiator pipes exploded. Some of the house had to be gutted, other parts had to be repaired with as little damage as possible. Fettes, Love, and Sieben did a remarkable job. They sent people at regular price when everyone else was price gouging. They gave us a coordinator (John Moses) to keep track of the many different plumbers who passed through.

When a mistake was made--and this job went into the thousands of dollars and months of work, so mistakes were bound to be made--they fixed it on their own dime and on OUR time clock. And they remained pleasant, knowledgeable, and educational throughout. Who knew you could love a plumbing company?

Patrick is amazing! I had a leak from my toilet which was evident from the discoloration of the marble around the toilet. I originally had another company come out, look at my floor and tell me (without doing a thing) that there was nothing wrong because there was no water on top of the floor. They charged me and did nothing. The discoloration kept spanning out to more marble so I called Fettes.

When Patrick arrived, he immediately saw the marble discoloration and determined that the toilet was leaking through the marble because the caulking around the base of the toilet wasn't letting the water out. He explained everything he was doing and showed me what caused the leak. Very ethical, honest and worth every penny. I highly recommend Fettes, Love & Sieben and ask for Patrick! Thank you!

I've moved from Chicago but wanted to call out what a great experience we've had with Fettes over the 17 years that we had a 100+ year old home. They were far and away the most reliable and responsive repair/service company that I dealt with and very reasonably priced. I just found out they do remodeling and I wish I'd known that as I would've called on them for that task. They also seem to hold on to employees and we'd see the same person a few years later, which made me happy. Very impressive company.

I had a toilet tank that wasn't filling and a leaky kitchen faucet. I thought the toilet would be hard to fix and the kitchen faucet easy. Actually, the opposite was true, according to my plumber from FLS. Patrick was efficient, helpful, friendly, and honest.telling me that my (circa 1999) faucet would cost more to fix than replace. My problems were solved and the service was great. You can't ask for more than that -- I'll definitely be calling again when something springs a leak!

Great experience with FL&S.start to finish. I discovered water coming from the ceiling in my basement.from four places. Identified the culprit as the toilet above the area, turned off the water and called these guys. They came out exactly when they said they would.the plumber was polite, quick and thorough.he explained what had caused the issue, and the work he did to remedy it.

He went downstairs to see my ceiling damage, showed me everything that was affected and needed repair, then offered to call the fire and water damage company for me that he has had the best experience with. So nice.they are coming out tomorrow. Great service.not cheap.but wonderful to feel good about what you got in return!

Very polite and helpful. I was really impressed. I needed a sink replaced in a hurry for a tenant and these guys came out and got the job done quick. They could have easily made the job seem bigger than it was but they were very professional and did great work. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing problems I might have in the future.

Have used these guys for a rental building we own as well as our own house. They are on time, professional, reasonably priced, and consistent. Highly recommend.

We had a pretty horrific situation on our hands that other plumbers weren't able to adequately resolve, but Chuck Fiege at FL&S came in and finally helped me to understand what was happening. He understood my 100+ year-old house's guts and took the time to explain and show me why we were experiencing a problem and what to do about it. I told him what another plumber told me I needed to do and he explained to me that that wasn't necessary (or legal), saving me over $2K.

It was clear to me that Chuck was extremely knowledgeable, not only about plumbing and sewers, but about Chicago plumbing and sewer matters. He handled the matter thoroughly and professionally, and his supervisor, John Moses, sent me two recommendations for other companies I can call to help pick up where their line of services ends to fix the problem 100%.

I tried to tip him and he would not accept it, explaining that he really loves his work and has no need for the tip. My last word? When it comes to plumbing and sewer matters, don't mess with rookies. FL&S are the OG of 86'ing your #2.

Fettes Love & Sieben falsified information in a report they created on 5/21/2012. If you are looking for a company to falsify plumbing documents/reports give them a call. They also billed us for work performed on 5/23/2012 (two hours of work 251 dollars) for rodding out a pipe which took less than ten minutes. I don't even think the plumber was present for 5 minutes.

When I contacted them via phone and email (3 times) they simply did not respond. The person who signed the report is named "steve" and there is no last name. Steve is a complete liar and a crook; I think he spent to much time with his head in a toilet bowel.
