I have an annual contract with A.O. Reed & Co. for quarterly maintenance of the HVAC system at my business downtown. This is the fourth HVAC maintenance company I've worked with since 2017, and it is SO REFRESHING to work with the professional experts at A.O. Reed & Co. Omar was in my shop this morning for quarterly maintenance. It was good to see him again.
He knows exactly what he's doing, and always explains it to me very clearly, showing me what he's referring to when necessary, and even breaking down various options when repairs are necessary. This is top-notch service at a very reasonable price. I recommend without hesitation or reservation.

Truck 599 Learn how to drive and be aware of your surroundings. On a closing lane you speed up or slow down. This person started merging into me without even looking into the left lane. I couldn't move left due to the lane being occupied so so right as this dummy turns into me I had to hit my brakes on a freeway. 6:45 5 south April 17th.

I visited the store today as I needed a plumbing fixture after going to Ace and the Home Depot, both of whom recommended that I visit A O Reed as they were plumbing specialists. Ace and Home Depot were experienced, pleasant and helpful. The opposite was true of the elderly person behind the counter at A O Reed, he was unhelpful, unpleasant and generally clueless and useless.
With his kind of service it will only be a matter of time before they go belly up, I intend completing a major renovation of my home in La Jolla and will not allow the contractors to buy from them.

Bought 2 drains at their plumbing supply store. Were "helped" by a gruff older salesman who told us this was the "only one they sold" and that "any idiot could put it in". Well, guess what? We must have been idiots, and our plumber also as neither drain fit our new sinks. When I tried to return them (I am female), I was "helped" by another gruff old man who treated me like a simpleton when he told me he couldn't accept the returns because they had been scratched. The chrome that shows was not damaged but he wouldn't budge. Did everything but call me "little lady". We will NEVER buy from them again. Didn't appreciate the attitude.

I visit the store occasionally for my DIY home plumbing progects, and each time I feel good about the store for their friendly and honest help. Today I went to the store for some minor parts, and, without any surprise to me, Stan at the counter helped me with his friendly and expert advice on the project! Well done and thank you, Stan!
