I was so impressed by Jon, Jason, and Andrew for so many reasons, but suffice to say they met and exceeded my expectations in every way. They were extremely prompt, worked hard and on task in an efficient manner, and were honest to the core. I can't say enough good things about them, and the next time I have any need for a plumber or plumbers, I know now exactly who to call, these guys.

My interior main sewer line needed replacement, and the entire process went smooth as silk with absolutely outstanding communication, planning and coordination not only with me, but with my tenants as well. Jon also was quick to coordinate and arrange for repacking the line in a tight 2 week window on everybody's schedule. Oorah Jon! Stang plumbing replaced our water heater today. We informed them in advance that we need same size of heater because of its congested location under kitchen counter top. However, after they replaced the heater we can not put the counter top back to its place. Because water lines are too high. Other than that tech did a good job

Had a leak from our 2nd floor toilet down into our first floor wall. They identified the issue quickly, discussed options, and fixed it. Then made recommendations for the future. I was very satisfied with the work.

Jason arrived early, and we invited him in. He put covers on his shoes to keep the floors clean. We had a partially blocked sink and he put a snake down it to clear it out. He finished within an hour. He answered our questions very well. We are very satisfied with the service.

Our water heater began leaking water, last week and after getting the water up and draining the old water heater I called several companies. Stang said they had someone available after finishing another job early, so I was happy to get replacement with new heater the next day. Jason M. came out and was highly professional, did a great job and did it fast with little disruption to our household. I would definitely recommend Stang Plumbing, and Jason in particular! SK

(9/7/2020) Emergency holiday call to Stang and, as always, we were able to get a plumber out quickly! We were delighted to have a familiar person arrive (Louis), he's done work here previously. Louis came in with a mask, courteously, really knows his stuff and exudes true respectful, customer service. Holiday rates are high (expected as they're paying overtime), our situation couldn't wait so we had no choice and it was worth it! We hate spending money but costs had all been stated up front on the phone, no surprises and we're smiling! You're an asset to Stang Plumbing, Thank you Louis!

Stang is a great company with great staff. They responded to an issue over the weekend -- an emergency with our boiler -- and got it fixed. In the past, they have troubleshooted complex drain problems until they were fixed with a high degree of dedication to solving the problem permanently. Their pricing is very reasonable and they didn't overcharge in the case of the difficult drain pipe despite how much time it took to get it right. In particular, I want to call out Louis Bingham for being a total pro in all respects.

We had a strange rumbling noise that I eventually realized was happening after we ran water in the house. Jon and his team knew right away that it was a master pressure regulator and got it fixed immediately. They were very professional, wore masks and foot covers, and cleaned up perfectly after their work. I have used Stang Plumbing many times, from leaking valves to replacing my hot water heater. They are always great to deal with and do great work.

My mom has been using Stang Plumbing for major jobs for decades, and they've always been super high quality. Their truck says, "Quality doesn't cost, it pays, " and this is so true! They recently installed a new hot water heater (which they purchased and is way better quality than anything we could get ourselves), washer, dryer, and removed an old sink. Perfect--and wish I'd known to have them install my washing machine correctly. The plumber here even gave helpful tips to my mom to save future work. Thank you! :)

They installed a new water heater for us on Thursday. Zack arrived right on time. He was very friendly and professional. He removed the old water heater quickly and installed the new water heater in no time at all. He used copper pipes for all his work and his work was very neat and tidy. He cleaned up the entire area when the work was completed. I highly recommend Stang Plumbing.

We've had Stang out a few times over the years and I just realized I hadn't reviewed before. Most recently, they installed a new garbage disposal for me. They showed up right on time and finished super fast. We've also had them out the day after Thanksgiving for a clog repair (pro tip, potato peels are not your stack's friend), a water heater issue, and another time for a toilet repair. Always professional, friendly, and quality work.

Visit one: wet floor under sewer pipe, drippy faucet, gurgle sound from all sinks. Diagnosis: melted snow and a fixed worn part in an inexpensive, older faucet. Cost:$300+ Pricey, but then, right after. Visit 2: wet basement from backed-up sewer line, which turned out to be the real source of the original wetness, go figure, not snow. At first attributed to incorrect former pipe installation but then realized it was further down the cast iron pipe; snaked and found roots. $1200+.

I was asked, but turned down, camera. Visit 3: When raw sewage poured into the basement the same late afternoon, I called and was told to shut off the water, which I did, although the waste was flowing through the end of the sewer pipe which had not been capped off. Came by in the evening til 9:30 with a different plumber who effectively removed much more root system clogging the drain (also used video, which I have with Stang's name on it).

About $1,100+ more. When I called and asked why it took so many visits, I was sent the video and told to claim it to WSSC next time it occurred, which I felt was dismissive. My reviews are fair for reasonable efforts. I don't have that many of them. Some are exemplary, and the reasons why are stated. Neighbors have been discouraged by repeat visits from this company to cure a problem that should have been fixed at the first, so it seems like a pattern. Attacking the character of a customer must be easier than having a reputation you can stand by.

Unfortunately had several issues with this company and would not recommend them. Aside from having a high hourly rate compared to others in the area, much of the work was done improperly. They had to return several times to fix their work. And during a minor repair job, they caused larger damage that we then had to pay them fix! If you have to use them, make sure you get a written estimate before they begin the work and understand their warranty policy. But I would highly recommend using someone else, as there are plenty of other better choices in the area.

Just wanted to express how fantastic this company is to talk to! I just spoke to the owner for almost ten minutes as he walked me through an issue I was having with my hot water heater. At no benefit to him he helped me fix a problem I was about to pay $200 for! I will run back to this company next time I have an issue.

I wish everything in m life was a reliable as Stang. Our house was built in the 1960's, and it has needed a lot of work over the last 27 years that we have owned it. When you take time off from work to be there for a repair, you want it fixed right the first time, and Stang never let us down. Recently I needed an old toilet replaced in a hurry, and they had a new one installed within a few days. Everyone they have sent to my house has been polite and helpful. I highly recommend them.

We bought a gas range for Sears. We were switching from electric to gas so we also needed to have the gas line extended to the kitchen. We paid for Sears installation company give an estimate on the gas line. I guy came out, took a couple of pictures, then three days later someone called and named a price. Sears took forever to get our oven, so it gave us time to think that maybe we should get another estimate.

My realtor recommended Stang. They came out for free. Their man spent a lot of time with me explaining the process and gave me some options with regard to costs. They gave us a 3-page detailed estimate that came out to about $500 less than the Sears company. They came out on time, arranged all inspections, and did great work.

Stang Plumbing technician Rob installed an under - sink valve for my refrigerator ice machine. He did a thorough and good job in attending to details. I am pleased with the outcome and recommend Stang Plumbing for doing what they said they would do.

When it comes to contractors the most important thing is trusting who are working with. Stang has done several projects at my home and I absolutely trust their work and their fair prices. The office stafff is friendly, the scheduling is reasonable and they don't try to jack up rates like many other companies. 5 stars for trust and 5 stars for service.

No one expects a plumber to be cheap, but you do expect some reasonable correlation to work. I bought a water heater last year and had it installed through Stang. This year, pieces of plastic were showing up in my faucet. I called them to see if they hadn't adequately flushed the pipes or perhaps I was having a problem with this water heater.

The plumber showed up 20 minutes late, and based on what I told him he said he could flush the system but that in all likelihood those were the last pieces from the old water heater. He did not so much as use a tool, and was done in less than 30 minutes. Yet I still got the $164 full hour bill. I would understand maybe if I hadn't bought the water heater from them, or if they had to do even the least little bit of work for this opinion, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be calling them again.
