We booked Zin's for a plumbing service, they didn't show up. They just texted and said "sorry". Unbelievable.

We have worked with Zin's plumbing many times over the years, but after our recent experience we will no longer use them. We scheduled an appointment over a week ago and were only given the day of the week they would arrive. This necessitated taking an entire day off from work to be available for them to arrive. They texted the day before and confirmed they were coming.

They texted the morning of the appointment that they would be at the house after 12. Then, at 12:05 they texted and said "sorry, we can't come today." Totally unprofessional, and Zin's will no longer receive our business.

During my basement project, Zins was awesome rerouting my basement bathroom plumbing; concrete floor demolition, new pipes for shower and vanity, and installation of a 150 pound shower pan. And, I was charged $1,000 LESS than the original e$timate. What companies would do that - lower the price I was prepared to pay on a more-than-fair estimate. Zins will get all of my future projects.

Zins repaired an old stack that had cracked and created a leak throughout my kitchen and basement. Kevin and Kevin were both extremely helpful and responsive, and actually completed the job in half the time (and cost) that had been originally quoted. I would highly recommend their services. We had a 12 unit apartment building that needed all new gas piping. Kevin at Zins Plumbing came out within one hour to give us a quote and an estimate on when the job would be done. Once I confirmed, Zins showed up exactly when they said and did the massive job exactly as specified. I will definitely call them again for projects big or small.

The 1st 2 plumber s that were sent out were very professional. That 3rd one I had an arguement bc he tried to insinuate that I was clogging my drains on purpose. He also made a comment t in regards to greese being j the drain. I told him 1st of all I throw my greese out. 2nd presently I cannot cook. He said why, bc u dont, I said no mf its bc I'm handicapped Nd I have limited us of my hands and arms. What the hell!

BEST PLUMBER EVER! We recently bought a new home, which was a plumbing nightmare, and got a few quotes from typical plumbing companies like Roto Rooter (which I'll never go to again) but were recommended to Zins by our realtor. After speaking to Zins on the phone a few times with extremely nice receptionists we were able to schedule our appointment very easily and they listened to all of our plumbing concerns.

Our plumber showed up early on our scheduled day and quickly knew what was going on with our home - which was a first for us! He provided us with a quote and did all of the work the same day. We had A LOT of work done and the price came in at less than half of what we were expecting. As long as you accept their quotes you don't even have to pay for them to do the estimate which is extremely rare with plumbing companies.

We will only ever use Zins plumbing going forward and cannot recommend it enough. Zins, thank you for making us even more excited to move into our dream home this month. You completely put our minds at ease when it came to our plumbing issues and we're so happy we called you.

Its hard to trust contractors with so many big name companies trying to get rich on homeowners. Zins has earned our trust. They are willing to quote approaches that other companies won't to fix our 120 year old home plumbing woes and have consistently executed at it below budget. Good, trustworthy and talented people.

I recommend zins Plumbling to everyone! They are Plumbing professionals and have urgency for getting the job done. I had an issue with my main sewer line and run multiple quotes. Zins Plumbling came back with a the best quote and did an awesome job. They dug to replace the line, hydro jetted the line to clean it entirely, and left everything how it was before the dig.

They went as far as spreading grass seeds and cleaning the entire area. Highly recommend plumbing company that does the job right the first time. They definitely have the customer's interest at heart!

Called to get a quote for replacing an emergency shutoff valve that was incorrectly installed when before I purchased my home. When I called, Hollie was courteous and professional in getting me an accurate quote for service, and she had my plumber Ed out within a few days. Repair took just a few minutes, and final price even was lower than the original quoted cost.

I can't say enough nice things about Zins Plumbing and work on both my clogged toilet (main reason for calling) and upstairs tub/shower drain (something I've been meaning to do as it drains pretty slowly.) I called this morning and made an appointment for Monday. They had Saturday times, but I couldn't do those. But then Zins called me back and said they had a plumber available who finished early today and could come over in about 20 minutes! Griffin wore a mask and shoe coverings the whole time, taught me a few things I should know about old pipes and such, in a very helpful way and did a great job getting everything done and cleaned up. Never thought I'd have such great customer service for my plumbing, but I'll never call anyone else now. Thanks, Zins!

After moving into a new house, we immediately had several plumbing issues. Zin's came recommended to me by my real estate agent (one of the best in the city, so I definitely trust her recommendations for stuff like this). So far I have been dealing with Mike on site and Holly over the phone. Both have been incredibly delightful, knowledgeable, and helpful in getting my situation figured out.

I had taken a while to follow up on some things, but Mike took a moment out of his own day to check up on me and see if there was anything else I needed for them to do, or if I needed any other support with my issues. I feel like follow-up calls like this are almost non-existent these days and I really appreciated the detailed service. Will be calling them again in the future for sure.

Had them hydrojet a main sewer line out to street couple years ago because Jim the Plumber doesn't own that machine and he recommended Zins. It's a little pricey but they did a great job and everything works like a dream. They were super careful running hoses thru window into basement, did great job of cleaning up any spills. Its been so long I don't remember names but they were very personable people. Great service all around

I have called Zins Plumbing twice for bathroom sinks I could not unblock. Both times I was happy with the service and price. This last time especially so since I plan to renovate the second floor bathroom where the sink was clogged. I did not want to have to replace any pipes now since the location of the sink will likely change. The Plummer was very careful with the old pipes which I really appreciated! Having to replace old pipes right now would be very expensive and set me back on my plan which includes moving the location of the sink. Thank you Mike!

John called to let us know he was on the way and went to work right away. He explained everything and went out of his way to take pictures to show me what needed done because I couldn't get down the stairs to the basement. Then he took pictures to show me the finished product. We talked about our poor water pressure (not the job he was here to do) and he checked something and discovered why we have bad pressure. John spent an extra 1/2 hour and fixed the problem. Now, I can have a real shower! Thanks for going out of your way to show me everything and for doing the extra work that wasn't part of job request!

I was quoted that the plumber would arrive between 8-9 am. I called at 0845 and was told 1) my address was listed incorrectly and 2) the plumber was still at another job site. This is my second time using Zins for the same job. I wonder why it didn't hold up the first time.? Disappointed

Called this place to get an estimate on my remodel. When he was leaving he saw my neighbor parking her car on the street behind his van. Guy lost it and approached my neighbor yelling and cursing. She's the sweetest woman I know and she has this jerk yelling in her face, I was worried he was going to do something to her. Threatened to call the cops if he didn't leave her alone and leave immediately. Can't believe I let this guy in my house.

Have and old house with old pipes.rusted started leaking. to get to it they had to take out some kitchen cabinets. If i wasn't there i would have never known they were there. Polite and professional. I'm sure we will have extra work at some point. I'll give them a call

I would 100% recommend this company. I had a major blockage in my main line due to excessive roots. Keith came out to my house, explained the process and then got to work. He sent auger down my drain over and over pulling out roots multiple times. He was very persistent in getting the line clear. He worked multiple hrs in the freezing cold and did not stop until the drain was completely clear. I would recommend this company and especially Keith for any plumbing jobs. Thank you Zins Plumbing

Waste of our money. We had a poor experience earlier in the week with another Plumber so we switched to Zins based on positive reviews. The earlier plumber had replaced our faucet and garbage disposal. Then later on our dishwasher started leaking so we contacted Zins to come out and take a look at it all. We were told it would be $35 for someone to come out and inspect our issues.

Upon arrival I was informed it would actually be $140 for a full investigation. He didn't even look at the dishwasher! I was basically told if it leaks again I need a new one. I was also trying to balance my full time job remotely since we were given such a large window of time for their arrival. I was on an important call when he arrived which I apologized for but it was frustrating to have to balance the two issues.

Just wish there was a better window projection of time. I was also informed the earlier plumber didn't give us great products. Well great what am I supposed to do about that now?! He just kept apologizing to me. Even if we do need a new dishwasher I wish I would have gotten more of an "inspection" from the $140 we spent. Not impressed!

These guys saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. ~ Came recommended by CME & Calla Plumbing who are also on my Plumbing List These guys came in after Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came to my house and told me that I was going to have to spend $10,000+ on repairs to the plumbing in my house not including the damage they were going to incur in removing existing structures and damage to walls they were planning to open up. Zin's did a follow up scope to the one that CME did and determined that the broken pip could be fixed for under 5000.

They came in under time, under budget and figured out that most of the problem was immediately under the basement bathroom not all over the house. They were all friendly and respectful

I have used Zins several times and they have always done excellent work. We had water backing up into our basement from one of the drains. We had roto rooter look at it and they said they could not find it and could not get a camera down. Ron at Zins was here for about 15 minutes and unblocked the drain. Highly, highly recommend.

Have heard that they are reliable and good to use, but I have not been impressed with the rude receptionist. Very unhelpful. We received some misleading information of when we had an appointment and when we could expect the plumber to arrive. The receptionist was anything but understanding, and I would say she was pissy at best.

The problem with Zins is that to have a plumber come out one has to be available all day. They will not give you a smaller window. Then they call you when the plumber is 20-30 min out. This might be different if it is an emergency. Luckily I was working from home so it wasn't a problem but it could be for many other people. The work was excellent and the price was fine (the children dropped objects down the drain in the bathroom sink and it was clogged).

Zins charged me $250 for solving a problem that Roto rooter quoted me around $24,000 to fix.zins recognized the problem was on city property, notified the city and they fixed it immediately.zins used the same technology that roto rooter used.wouldn't you think roto rooter knew what zins saw? I certainly think so. I'll use zins on all my plumbing problems.

We had Mike come out for an inspection of our draining system yesterday at a house we are under contract on. He went above and beyond what he needed to do. He did a walk through of the house and pointed out other issues that we needed to take into consideration. He was honest and thorough which is EXACTLY the kind of person you want on your side before buying a house. Mike was friendly and took his time explaining everything to us. Highly recommend and will use again. Ask for Mike!

A few days before hosting a large party at our house, I entered the front door and smelled gas. Duke energy came over and shut down our gas until our leaks were repaired. Zins came over later that day, removed the old pipes, installed new ones, and helped get us squared away with Duke. Zins' employees worked around the clock to make sure we would have heat and hot water for the party and when everyone was tied up, Ron (the owner) came over himself to fix what needed to get fixed. One night, two of the Zins employees even came out at midnight. They were professional, reliable, and provided good advice. I will definitely use them for future projects.
