A reverse osmosis system installed by Comstock Plumbing will remove any contaminants from when it is is forced through a semipermeable membrane. The movement from the concentrated side supplies you, the homeowner, with cleaning drinking water. In osmosis water will become more concentrated substance as it passes through an equilibrium, but reverse osmosis will block any contaminates from entering a less concentrated side. After the water exits, it goes through a post filter to "polish" the drinking water.

Good communication, when they arrived they assessed the problem and quickly fixed it (not just one leak in my pipe, but two!). Felt the charge was very fair.

Great service! When they knew they would not make it to the house that day, they called to let us know and gave us a timeline for the following day which they promptly fulfilled. We also felt they were very reasonably priced.

Disappointed. Don't know if it's the one plumber or that they all can't handle a woman giving them specific requests to NOT do X because it previously cause a ton of issues, please do Y and expect them to respect the request. Plumber went against my wishes, tried to flush the system his way, when it didn't work he decided to finally try what i asked him to do. (Just take the toilet off).

He didnt like me calling him on his BS, and walked out. Saying I didnt know what I was talking about. (Because ya know we women can't understand complexities of plumbing) No raised voices or innappropriate language from my end. Don't know why he was so unprofessional. Called managent 2x, its been almost 2 weeks with no reply. Unprofessional again.

I guess they have just dismissed me without a backward glance. P.s. finished the job myself in 30 min. The issue was exactly what i told them it would be. Will never be calling them again, and I cannot recommend their services.

I will recommend Comstock Plumbing to my friends and family. I had an issue with my water heater. The guys were out to my place quick and fixed the issue. They explained in detail what they were going to do and how much it was going to cost. Will definitely use their services in the future.

I called on a Friday afternoon.a service man came out that afternoon. He told us it was the well pump. They came back Saturday morning they were here working in the frigid temps. replacing the pump motor, pipes and wires. Coldest day of the year so far.but they got my water back for us. Very polite, professional young men.they are my go to plumbers from now on. GREAT JOB!

Comstock replaced ALL the plumbing in our house earlier this year - a MASSIVE job that cost a LOT of money. They seem to have done a fine job with it, and were willing to wear masks when here. Now, months later, we have a backup of waste water in our lower level shower. After pumping the septic tank, it's clear that it's in the pipes themselves, inside the house somewhere.

We scheduled Comstock to come out and address the drain issue. They were supposed to be here today (we've been waiting all week for them), and after getting up super early to be ready for them, they didn't show up. As we are working from home, we can't have them here later today, and when asked about rescheduling tomorrow, they were unable to do it. So, that would leave us in a situation where we're living with waste water in our shower for 10 days, which is unacceptable. Before this, we would have given Comstock our highest referral. After this? Not so much.

Had a time scheduled to come put and give an estimate. Was suppose to be 8 to 10, I waited and never heard from them. Called them and said they were short staffed and running behind, they would be put 10-2 now. Again, no one showed and my brother in law missed a day of work waiting for someone to show up. They never called me to tell me any of this, I had to reach out to come. Rude and unprofessional. I took.you business else where.

Our kitchen faucet was leaking and was getting worse daily. We thought it could be repaired and after getting the parts free from Moen Home Adviser's recommendations were so expensive we ordered a new one. In searching for a local plumber and called Comstock and they were here the next morning. Our faucet was installed quickly and neatly. Also the charge was reasonable. We will defiantly will call them again if the need arises.

Even though they were short staffed and super busy, Chip and his brother were able to work me in and replace my well pump. Very nice, showed up on time and did a fantastic job at a reasonable price! You guys are amazing, highly recommended and have lifetime customers. Thank you again so very much!

I've used Comstock Plumbing for years; however, I will not use them going forward and CANNOT recommend them. I ordered and they installed a hybrid water heater at my house in August 2020. And the plumbing connections the installed added greatly increased the footprint over the other water heater they previously installed in 2010 (see accompanying photo).

On December 24, 2020, I had a service appointment with Chip (same Comstock plumber who did the August 2020 water heater installation) to repair a sump pump. He said he needed to order a replacement part and that the repair likely wouldn't happen until after the new year. I was fine with that, holidays and all. It is now mid March 2021 and they are still telling me they have to find the replacement part.

With a mere 10 minutes of my effort, I found the manufacturer, called them, got the contemporary part number, and ordered a replacement pump off Amazon. I will find someone with plumbing skills who is responsive to install it. This will not, NOT, be someone affiliated with Comstock Plumbing.
