I have used this service for years. This time I called them asking them to come out and service us the women on the phone told me we did not need service. I said we did she got more aggressive and said we needed a plumber. So I called a plumber he came out checked the lines opened the septic tank lids and showed us how full our septic was. So again I called sweet pea while the plumber was her she told me the plumber did not know what he was doing we did not need service.
So I put him on the phone with her she was extremely rude to him. He nicely explained what he was looking at directly in our septic. She said they could not come out for weeks. Thank goodness the plumber called a septic serve that could come out that day and yes my system was full. I highly recommend Alex from steve Garrison plumbing. But not sweet pea.

Well, its so often these days that customer service is not what it once was. Fortunately, that is not the case with Sweet Pea. Their customer service is still outstanding. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We recently experienced a clogged line going out to our septic tank. No one including a local plumber and a nationwide company could respond that evening.
I called Sweet Pea and although they don't offer nighttime service either, I left a message and they called me back very early the next morning to assure me they would be out ASAP. I never heard back from the other guys. About 2 1/2 hours after calling, their tech pulled in the driveway and had the clog cleared in about 10 minutes. He also dug out the tanks and made sure there was nothing obstructing the inlet.
I have an appt. with them to have the tanks pumped out in a few days and their prices are about the same as they were 5 years ago. I have had nothing but consistently outstanding, professional service from Sweet Pea and will continue to be a customer as long as we own our home.

I needed my septic tank replaced. Sweet Pea came out timely, gave me a good quote and placed me on their list. An earlier opening came up and they contacted me to schedule the replacement. They replaced the tank, graded the area (looks much better than before!) and the quote was right on! Professional, timely and everyone friendly from the on-site personnel to the contact staff! Very good customer service and great follow through!

I am a resident in the trailer park next to swingles butcher shop. This company shows up to clean their septic I'm assuming as I see and hear them there making a racket at 6:30 am til nearly 9 in the morning not letting me get any sleep on my day off. I just feel its unprofessional and disrespectful to make that much noise near a neighborhood that early, there are noise ordinances in neighborhoods and if you cant follow them you shouldn't be there at that time. On a side note I dont think they do a very good job because is constantly smells like feces all around my yard and the back of the butcher shop.

Not only was Sweet Pea unable to do anything to fit me in to their schedule. If you need your tank pumped and don't schedule it way in advance don't even bother to call Sweet Pea. The lady that answers the phone is very rude and could care less about helping you. She seems like she is doing you a favor just by speaking with you. Prior to this we had only used Sweet Pea but NEVER again!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Shawn and Sweet Pea Septic! They made our plugged drain a priority (put us in front of a couple of maintenance calls) and were about HALF the cost of their better advertised competitor in Amador County! Wow! Shawn was prompt, professional, personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. He also went "above and beyond" in re-installing some of the items I had dismantled to get at the problem. I know who to call FIRST next time!

Sweet Pea got it right! I was in escrow on a foreclosure property where the home sat vacant for 4 years. Before that, the owners never pumped their septic tank, so we really didn't know what we were getting into. We did know that it had a special system that wasn't functioning properly (duh). We first hired Foothill Sanitary who told us that we needed an entirely new septic system, tank and all!
So then we called Sweet Pea for a second opinion. Sweet Pea's technician was prompt, courteous and got everything working like it should in no time! And lets face it, this is no sweet smelling job! Thanks Sweet Pea! We will be using your company for all of our septic needs from now on.

Made inspection appt. online with credit card payment once inspection and clean out was completed. Scheduled appt. was quick. Both inspection and clean out men were professional, friendly and most efficient. I received my inspection report within a few days, and all checked out okay. Completely satisfied with Sweet Pea's online user friendly system and excellent on-site service.

I'm very happy with Sweet Pea septic. I called other companies twice to try and get someone out to my property but, my calls never were returned. When I called Sweet Pea not only did they return my call but, they were able to get someone out to my property the same day! I never lived on a Septic tank before so, they were able to explain everything that was done. I will continue to use Sweet Pea Septic for all my Septic needs.

Update below: Hmmm.so we had our septic tank pumped and serviced about four months ago. We decided to sell our house and during the inspection, the tech broke/cracked the intake pipe. When we mentioned something about this, first Sweet Pea said that it was like that before they dug. When this was questioned, then they said that they will fix it for free but then that the inlet pipe does not have enough fall and needs to be excavated and reinstalled/graded at the cost of over $900.
This was never mentioned until after we found that they broke something. So now, I don't know how much is truth and how much is them trying to find a way to charge me extra money for something they broke in the first place. I understand this is a tough economy, but this whole deal seems very shady. Update: Finally spoke with the owner. He explained things a bit more, but I still feel like I am being taken advantage of. We shall see how the repairs go. Update: They did the "repair". I guess it works better now, but have not noticed any difference. Be careful with them.

Just a few months ago, I had them pumped the septic tank and all was well. However, when I called the place to get septic inspection for my house, I found out that he unnecessarily pumped the septic tank again(the pump is recommended to do it every 3-5 yrs). Moreover, we found out that they damaged the pipe while they performed the inspection and making us pay for it by giving a false report on the pipe! It feels very dishonest the way they run their business and i will never recommend this place to anyone.
